Standing an average 15.4 hands tall, she keeps a somewhat muscular build while still keeping a thin structure. Her height, while average amongst the other mustangs mostly comes from her long but sturdy legs that allow her to take long graceful strides while running or walking with her feet high from the ground making a definitive thump when meeting the dirt beneath her hooves that once were a warm grey, now covered in dirt, mud and grime from her travels. Another part of her height comes from her long elegant neck, the fur the same ghostly pale cream as the rest of her coat apart from where a chocolate brown stretches down her legs from a little above her knees all the way down her legs till they meet her hooves. Her mane, tail, and muzzle is also another thing that contrasts against her very pale cream colored coat Mane and Tail the same color as the socks on her legs, a molasses, while the edges of her short mane and long silky tail the color of rust or milk chocolate even if you would see it as such. Her muzzle, meanwhile, is near black, like charcoal that isn't as definitive around her nostrils and lightens somewhat close to her coat color at the edges by her top lip. Her coat is generally unscathed, other than some small scars and occasionally bruising near the base of her neck by her shoulders from the continuously growing tussles she finds herself in whether it's a stallion who can't take no for an answer or some predator looking for a meal and thinking her some easy prey in their desperation but ending up with a precise kick to the jaw or side A white blaze is somewhat apparent amongst her pale coat, starting from between her eyes to reaching a few inches short of where her charcoal colored muzzle is. Soleil has a very proud stature, always lifting her feet when walking well off the ground and letting her hooves pound upon the dirt below to kick up small bits of grass or dust with her head held high to make her seem taller than she really is. A dangerous scowl or deadpanned look is most apparent amongst her dark brown colored eyes as she hasn't been in the best of luck as of recent and with that her mood has greatly diminished so a warm smile or bright sharp laughs are rarely seen anymore along with her tolerance for any stallions or predators. Personality Soleil is a mare that always makes it so that whatever she may be talking about with another horse is straight to the point, with little patience for any playing, dancing, or theatrics one may pull while in a conversation with her. She's a lone mare for a reason, to get away from horses that annoy her, and for her to approach means she needs information fast and easy so you can see how she might be a bit pushy with her words and will snap at any dancing around the subject. 7 Though she isn't completely rude, she makes sure to return a polite greeting with her own polite words if one is kind enough to give her that despite the serious emotionless look she may approach with, rude remarks one may throw at her with her own rude words right back, and any stallions that straight up flirts with her when she is trying to get information for something Soleil will fully return with a sharp kick to the side after making a rageful cry Don't take any last minute grumbly remarks personally, as she'll always find a way to add one with the blazing heat always bearing down upon the lands, her hunger from the new shortage of vegetation, and Soleil's constant need for survival against seemingly everything not helping her attitude at all. She isn't bossy for the most part, but she sure as hell is snappy and doesn't care if the world hears about it or gives her hell in turn for being in a mood, she'll flip it off right back. Along with this, at times when facing a challenge that she sees may be hard to overcome or in a heated argument against something she clearly can't win against, Soleil thinks with her temper not her brain or heart and doesn't know when to stand down or hold her tongue at times until she's backed into a corner or has dug her own grave, with luck the only thing keeping her alive despite the close calls Surprisingly, despite her moods at times this mare isn't blunt with her words when speaking to another in general and especially when talking to someone who is very clearly in distress or at the very least close to tears. She'll spare their soul until they feel better, but she can't offer anything more than an awkward nudge with her muzzle in an attempt to comfort them and a listening ear to what may be bothering them or having them in such a state. She'll especially hold on to her remarks to those she has claimed as hers, being naturally very protective over them but not limit them on something she greatly values herself; freedom. Soleil is very brave for a lone mare, not afraid in the face of something she couldn't possibly overcome but charging headfirst into it anyways and not spooking at the sounds of wailing predators around her or the thundering hooves of a stallions approach looking to flirt and tick her off While she does have very little tolerance for stallions, more specifically bachelor's who approach first and straight up flirt with her she'll amuse them for a little bit by throwing a remark back before hissing something spiteful and trotting away. Her plan B? Kick them. It's very easy to get on Soleil's bad side, and while maybe a long time back before coming to this land she was a patient and prideful mare, she's basically thrown these morals out the window with words as precise as the kicks she lands on unfortunate souls. It might seem like she's overly harsh, but honestly the mare would categorize herself as fierce more than the latter as being so is what has allowed her to survive as long as she has traveled to quite a small handful of places before coming here at a very unfortunate time. If you ever feel someone's watchful eyes on your back, assume it's Soleil watching from a distance. Herd The Valley Herd Rank Herd Mare Desired Rank Content Appearance Naryene is a mare of short height if you would ever be able to see her stand side by side with her half brother, Atolos standing a puny 15 hands compared to the Goliath 18 hand stallion that the lead is. They may share the same brilliant white coated father, but her similarities with the stallion are slim other than the lighter grey colored, somewhat white patches of fur definitively along her back but most prominent on her hindquarters and where her face are being the only tell between the two. That, and perhaps how short their manes and tails are compared to the regular mustang horse. Her father was a grand white colored stallion who's coat got more brilliant as he had grown older and with always the cold expression only one a leader would bear on his face filled with a mixture of pride and confidence Naryene is very proud to say she spent a majority of her life idolizing what he did and all of the confidence, the sureness yet stoic expression he had always beared and made most of her life a goal to take after his stance and attitude though those childish dreams when she was a filly have started wearing and dulling she will still try to walk with the same confidence only he could perfectly carry. Her mother on the other hand, she shares more similarities with than her father appearance wise. While her mother had a grey colored coat Naryene finds herself with one on the darker scales of greys with bits of her father's own brilliant coat barely lightening the spots of fur it touches in dapples along her pattern 
On her head perched a bit above her eyes sits what looks to be a mix of a star and a stripe, colored white as it trails down her face from a few inches above where her eyes are more on the forelock and gliding down her face down to clash with the russian blue of her muzzle. Naryene would consider herself a bit chunky, but on her pelt on the middle of her back and side is a mix of brown and lighter variations of her coat color that makes up the same effect of what one would see during clear night skies free from light pollution and making it so you could see the revealed galaxies that painted the midnight canvas. Her mane and tail are a darker color than what her coat is, with at the tips of her silky but short tail, is highlights of what one would describe as cream in color. Her back legs have a white pastern, painted more brown from the dust and dirt she's kicked up, and finds her coat relatively unscathed apart from scratches that could easily heal within a week or so Personality Naryene is a very expressive mare, whether it's yelling about something with someone else in a disagreement or her questioning someone's orders that she herself finds unreasonable, or joking and playing around with someone's antics, laughing brightly at a joke someone cracked or giving an encouraging look to someone that trusts her enough to listen to their own problems it's quite easy to tell what she's thinking just by glancing at her face. Now, I wouldn't go as far as to say she's very transparent as even as expressive as Naryene is, it's often the mare can be seen looking very Stern or all business with other horses or when speaking to another blunt and straight to the point of things with her words. She's known to lose her temper very easily with someone whether foal or stallion on an off-day, and won't give a damn about their feelings afterwards as she's not afraid to voice her annoyance when it manages to catch her While we're on the subject of flaws, yes maybe Naryene questions things a bit too much whether it something someone might be telling her about in a casual conversation she's struck up with someone or an order from someone else that was given that she doesn't agree with or see reasonable but trust me when I say she always means well when she does do those things no matter how annoyed one may get with her. As Naryene likes to have a full understanding of what's happening, all the details, or even when challenging orders, make the person giving them either see how unreasonable they're being with them or to make her change her mind about something she doesn't agree with that was ordered upon her. She isn't one to complain, but this mare has serious morals and by hell she will stick by them no matter who she has to challenge. Now, on her more playful and very much more casual no business just friends being friends side Naryene is much more laid back and not all work tunnel visioned  Though this is more rare to see, as she's taken it upon herself to always look out for the members of the herd that her half-brother leads, and though it may not be her role or job to do this, she would very happily die in service to everyone who's a member. Naryene used to be playful with the foals and horses when speaking and very kind with everyone, always happily listening to any rambles or problems they may bring to her or if they just needed someone to listen for a moment, either way she will gladly oblige with a bad habit of getting on long rambles if they spoke together comfortably long enough and a knack for getting on some tangents about what's happening around her though no matter what Naryene has and will make it her duty to always keep secrets one tls her to herself and nobody else no matter who may try to pry it out of her. She knows her boundaries and when not to push someone to speak when she's not going on long tangents and will always no matter what keep her lips sealed until the day she dies about a secret someone has told her Naryene is incredibly loyal, so treason or any sort of defiance to reasonable enough sounding orders has never crossed her mind once, and you better believe it when I say she will actually raise hell and back just for you. butterfly As loyal as Naryene is, it takes time to get it from her. Newcomers aren't her friends in the slightest and while she may give a nod or a few words to horses who have just joined after being loners Naryene will most likely just shoot them a Stern look that warns them not to try anything. She likes to keep a confident front much like the stoic and always confident look her father would bear on his face, to take after him and be composed and she is very much so, or likes to think that when in reality she could easily become paranoid and jumpy at certain things like the mention of large predators. Appearance
Besnik,or Nick as he much prefers to be called, is that of a mediocre kind of Butler. He isn't uptight and always perfect with his posture nor is he overly clumsy and always dropping things as they slip from his grasp. He has the formal posture, as he stands that way most of the day, but it's often he doesn't get it quite perfect even though it may look that way. He has dusky brown colored hair, with some feathery bangs that brush over his right eye and fair olive colored skin to match with his deep but also pale green colored eyes. He isn't an overly tall person, standing at the height of 5 foot 6 so that he wouldn't exactly be classified short either when standing next to another person of similar age to him. His hair is a bit messy and ruffled, but short all the same, never going really past his neck, and even when he does grow it out a bit it never gets past his shoulders as it's usually in a small ponytail His attire, in question consists of a brown feather with darker streaks in it and white making a gradient at the bottom never moving past the midway point, and black speckled can be seen along the whole thing most apparent when seen with the white gradient backgrounding it. The feather rests on the hat he wears, which looks a bit like the magician's hat you can easily see today. Black gloves cover his hands that are lined with scars, and it's rare he takes them off a lot of the time so people don't stare at the imperfections on his skin as it makes him uncomfortable. He had a handkerchief that can be seen sticking out from his black colored pants, and the white cloth had the royal emblem stitched into the middle as just the outline with dash lines making up the outside of the shape in golden thread though it's long been dirtied and well used. For his shirt, it's normally white and long sleeved with a black vest laying over it with again, the family emblem laying on the right side of where his chest is, the outline of the emblem only present because of the dashed thread making up the shape.
Personality
Nick can be described as a dutiful kind of person whether as a Butler or just as a friend, someone you just met, family member, etc. He keeps to his morals, and any orders he has been given by a higher up and makes it his job no matter what to fulfill whatever was tasked of him big or small of a thing. He may be a Butler, but still has no problems speaking out against something he may not fully agree with or find totally unreasonable or someone, offering his opinion into some matters sometimes even when not asked and voicing a strong argument on certain topics. It depends on the mood I guess, or what is currently in discussion to the time even sometimes voicing stuff a bit too rudely. This may be because he's inexperienced and is still unused to speaking in formal matters with royalty in comparison to how he used to do things, or perhaps he just has the need to make himself known sometimes. Either way, he's still somewhat new to the royalties staff though trust me when I say that Besnik means well whenever he may do something that seems brash or too in the heat of the moment With being rather dutiful, he is also rather eager to carry out tasks one may request of him. Not so much as an obsessive kind of way where he fawns over the royalty or is trying to gain their favor in some sort of fashion, rather he's quite eager to prove he can be as capable as any Butler even though he may be on the newer side. Besnik is an orderly kind of person, always liking to see things in place or having a laid out plan before him yet despite that doesn't mind a little bit of mess or unexpected last minute kind of things either. He welcomes them, as he finds them able to spice things up a bit into his life and hopefully others. When speaking to someone else, he knows he should probably be able to hold a confident or formal kind of front, yet can't help but feel a little awkward when engaging into a conversation with generally anyone that he runs into especially of they're someone he barely knows. It's common he might stutter over a word or offer some sort of apology if he messes up speaking in some sort of sentence ranging from he didn't use proper titles or said something rather offensive. Besnik could easily be described by the people around him as someone who is determined, and very loyal to some. He will always follow through, or at least try to no matter how petty the request may be or how difficult of not hearly impossible some sort of task is he will at least try a couple times before quitting and offering his apologizes of he can't complete whatever is it that they had asked. Loyalty wise, he will stand by your side through thick and thin, shitty times and the happiest of them, rough roads and break downs, rather anything at all. Even if you were to scream at him and call him useless, he'll most likely try harder instead of leave. Some sort of secret? It's safe with him. Plot to run away or for some prank? Count him in to offer his assistance inside of the plan even if he may not agree fully. He'll stand by you and take the blame even if it's not his to take and while this may be his own downfall for how much he trusts and puts loyalty into people, he sure as hell is going to keep doing so. Betrayal of the highest order is one of the easy ways to lose his trust, that or turn against someone he's closer to. Besnik is rather energetic at times, bouncing on his heels or sometimes talking way to loudly when he should be talking in a whisper or nothing that could easily echo for miles off of the walls. He's learned to reign it in a bit, but be warned he can still do some outbursts sometimes He's quite the storyteller, and very much knows this. He takes much enjoyment over sharing some kind of plot or made up adventure of gallant knights or old searching wizards, simply soldiers and a village man who rose to royalty. Stories of treason, and quests for treasure and greatness, whatever it may be he will tell it and takes quite the enjoyment of sharing it with the kitchen staff, librarian, and anyone else who is willing to listen or requests a story from him. He will gladly oblige. He may be energetic and outgoing at times, but he's known to cower often if someone yells at him for something. The last thing he wants to do is anger someone, especially those he gets close to and is known for saying profuse apologizes even if he may not be at fault. While some may want to take advantage of this, he's still keen and knows when he's being used and won't play around.
