Appearance: Around six foot, Coal is moderately tall. His frame is well built, lithe, and wiry. His skin is bronzed by the sun, settling on a golden tan. His face is of a regular shape, perhaps slightly narrowed. He has a strong jawline, a well set nose, and firm brows. His eyes are a piercing blue hue, captivating, stunning. His hair is a light, sandy, golden brown hair brown. It is only slightly wavy, and is styled in a relatively short cut, falling no farther than mid forehead. He styles it this way so as to avoid his hair falling into his eyes or in any way hindering him. In general appearance, Coal is a stunningly handsome man. Clothing: Coal usual resorts to simple, functional clothing. He wears loose fitting grey pants. Well - worn, sturdy leather brown boots reach up his upper shines. He sports a navy blue tunic, over of which he wears a close fitting front buckled leather vest that falls slightly past his hips. It provides protection, and is also suprisingly mobile and comfotable. He always wears a belt of which carries a dagger sheath. Two leather cuffs, extending from his elbow to wrist, clasp around his forearms. A slate gray hood attaches to his navy blue tunic, although he rarely pulls it up, often leaving it draped around his neck. Weapon of choice: Fists - but if he must choose a weapon, he could do with a simple broadsword or crossbow.
Personality: A bit cocky, humorous, and loyal to a fault, Coal is a good person to be friends with. His personality is charming, charismatic, and he speaks with others as easily as breathing. He can make friends with only a single conversation. However, despite his clear affinity for crowds and a large group of friends, he is the type to only have one or two true best friends. To those he is close to, he is loyal to a fault; nothing could ever keep him away from those he loves, despite all. He enjoys teasing others, and can even be a bit snarky - but all with good intention. He reads emotions generally well, and has an incredible sense of patience. He can sit and listen to a rant for hours on end, if he feels that it will help. He's a generally sweet guy, with a stunning grin that seems to light up the room every time. He's confident, and yes, cocky; but when it comes down to it, he's selfless and compassionate at heart. Side note: He loves having a purpose. He is content with following rather than leading, as long as he has a general say. Brief backstory: At a young age, the orphanage (yup, gonna make it all nice and depression) sent him to the army. He worked obidiently as a soldier - which he enjoyed - before being sent off to Fellborn to put his incredible tracking skills to use. He was told that shifters were destroying the city, burning farms, stealing livestock, causing riots. If he were to really meet a shifter, it's doubted that he could raise a sword to their neck, even in threat. Side note - he's definitely a bit of a flirt. Special Skill: Tracking and close combat

~ Character Name ~ Alta (Spanish for, 'High', or 'Higher'. Can also mean superior.) ~ Character I.D., see bottom of 'Character' post ~ 63 ~ Gender ~ Female ~ Age ~ Four ~ Appearance ~ Half Doberman, and half German Shepard, with some pitbull blood, Alta was bred for intelligence, strength, and courage; the attributes of Beta's most prized tool. Tall, standing at about 25 inches at the shouldes, she towers over most of her canine counterparts. She is incredibly muscled, yet lithe as well. Her athletically built form proves true to both of her breeds; incredibly muscled, long, powerful legs, and a sleek form. Her body structure more closely resembles that of a doberman, with the exception of her elongated back. However, her head shape is true to a German Shepard. Her strong, powerful jaws carry an astounding bite force of 245 PSI. Her fur itself resembles that of german shepard during the majority of the year. However, oddly, it sheds to quite a short length during the summer. Her coat is jet black; an oddity for both her breeds, but not unheard of. Her dark coat and appearance in general is quite stunning, although imposing. Her eyes are a dark, slightly orange tinted brown. Additionally: If Alta emits a low, rumbling growl, she is able to use echolocation. Additionally, her eyes are able to see heat. ~ Personality ~ Alta is cold, alarmingly intelligent, observant, and judgemental. If having a superior athletic build isn't enough, Alta is also one of the most intelligent dogs to come to Beta, rivaled only by Orden, dog twenty - two. She is sarcastic, witty, and a meticulous planner. She can read emotion easily enough, though leaves that more to her sister. If anything, she is more prone to predicting one's actions near to the point of reading one's mind. She is observant, and not a single detail gets by her; she is able to pick up on even the smallest, most seemingly insignificant clues and draw a conclusion from them with alarming speed. When around her, it seems as if you are being constantly watched; and this is true. She knows how to mask her emotion well. No dog can read her (that she knows of), except her sister, Rache. She remains resolutely stony - faced, despite the situation. She suffers in silence, and will press through any pain, no matter the degree of agony she is enduring. She believes that pain is for the weak. Her composure also goes far past her expressionless mask. She never loses her head; ever. Logic always takes control, never failing to stamp down emotion. She doesn't really know how to experience joy either. Although many scoff at her loyalty to Beta, Alta despises those she follows; however, she is left with no other choice. Those that knew her would understand the incredible pressure that was placed on both her and Rache's shoulders, as the most prized canine weapons of Beta. A single mistake, and they will be removed. Hence, why Alta both despises failures, and is known to not have made a single mistake (false, of course). She will beat herself up, and blames herself for nearly anything that goes wrong. Around other dogs, she is cold and taciturn. When she does speak, it is usually a command, a brilliant observation, or a sarcastic, biting remark. Credits to HOTNstock on DA [ Personality ] This old boy has got some years under his belt. Quiet, calm, and wise through experience, Tysta is true to his name sake. He loves joking around with pups, and can keep a conversation up for hours on end. He is a fatherly figure to everyone in the pack, known for his advice and ability to simply listen. He forgives easily, and is a mercifull soul. Compassionate to the end he loves his mate dearly, and cares for everyone else. His calm, composed manner is of such that everyone looks up to him, whether for guidence, or simply respect. In his younger years, he used to be alpha, but gave up the position as he aged. Strong, and quite the leader, he has not faced a challenge he cannot overcome. He dislikes fighting, but understands his duty - it is for the good of the pack. Yes, one might call her terrifying - not an exaggeration. With a fiery temper and short fuse, a basic fact of survival becomes: don't get on her bad side. Dare defy her, and you may just end up with your organs at the bottom of a frozen river. Whatever you do, just avoid provoking her into a fit of rage. She can bare through arguments, but if she feels personally attacked, too late - you're probably dead by now. She herself is assertive, argumentative, provokative, and generally contentious. This would be due to her willful, opinionated disposition. Although she is incredibly stubborn, she is more open minded than one might suspect. Unless she feels insulted, she can listen before settling on a decision. Indeed, she is more of an observer initially - and a good one at that. She is intelligent, and is able to comprehend complex problems with relative ease. That may seem all there is to Risk - but, indeed, there is something far, far deeper. The one wolf she hates more than everyone else is herself. She absolutely despises everything about herself, for no good reason at all. She is convinced love doesn't exist - nobody has ever loved her, and nobody ever would, as far as she was concerned. She couldn't possibly be worthy of anyone. She would only hurt them. Among other things, having never experienced love results in severe depression, anxiety, and the general aura of being a very lost soul. Deep down inside, she is compassionate, humorous, and loving - but she has closed off all these emotions, as being vulnerable only will get her hurt. She knows this from past experience. The most observant, empathetic characters could see past her anger into her compassionate, vulnerable, and very wounded/insecure side. It is there, if anyone bothered themself to look. She is slow to frustration and anger, in that sense, but takes a challenge to heart. When she does finally get mad and cracks, all hell lets loose. She cannot control herself past this point... ever. She has a lithe, muscled figure well adapted to running and climbing. Her fur is relatively short, but through atheletic endevors, she is able to remain at a reasonable body temperature during the cold season. Her coat itself is a glossy midnight hue tipped in a dark, ebony brown. In the shadows, she appears completely black. However, when bathed in sunlight, stunning flares of red tinted mahogany brown flare through her dark coat. Her eyes are a dark, near orange gold. In the image above, she is depicted with far more shades of brown than on average. ~ Personality ~ Aggressive, hot - headed, and driven, this outgoing wolfdog lacks no spirit. She is quite extroverted, and although she does't neccessairily enjoy the presence of any dog, she has absolutely no issue with speaking to one. She is sarcastic, witty, and snarky, but could care less about her fellow dog's opinions. Assertive and authoritive, it is near impossible to shove this dog around; she bows to no one, but tolerates her superiors. She voices her opinion quite often, which has lead to punishment in the past. She is on the borderline with Beta on a daily basis, and she knows it. Yet she somehow manages to survive, much to the irritation of her commanders. She is quite aggressive. Most chalk this up to her wolf blood, but she knows this isn't so. Past events have traumatized her, and she cannot overcome her pain of her past. In turn, she is constantly alert, on guard, always on the offensive. In her mind, she must hurt others before they hurt her. Intelligent, decisive, yet cautious, she is quite a good leader.
