<div align="center">[ personality ]<div align="center">Jeremiah has always been demure and kept to himself, and is a bit of an outsider from everyone else. He's pretty polite in conversation, when he talks. His internal thoughts and feelings are usually repressed, but most of the time, Jeremiah's mainly melancholy. His mood is hard to get up, but he's easy to make smile. People's first impressions of him are almost always negative, either because of his erratic personality or just him straight up saying something absent mindedly. He was never taught how to act in conversation, and it's the most obvious thing besides his gender. Jeremiah still tries his best, however sometimes it's doesn't even come close to wonted. Besides his eerie mannerisms, his way of speech is usually garbled and warped. He sounds like a mixture of Yoda and Shakespeare when talking, resulting in some very odd conversations. Besides that, most of the time he can be caught just talking to himself out loud as if it was any other normal conversation.<div align="center">
<div align="center">Jeremiah is on the edge of unstable, if not considered that already, because of his quick-changing emotions and temper. Being around him is like always being on edge, since his next action is unknown. Even if he seems like a sweet character, he's usually detached from the conversation and lacks a good deal of visible empathy. Although he seems quite unaware of his surroundings and of those around him (allowing him to come off as 'not the sharpest tool in the shed') he still has a hyper-awareness factor that is hidden below the surface. Along with this, Jeremiah is also quite intelligent, despite his very childlike personality and inability to recognize others emotions. He can devise a plan in what seems like a split second, when it really had just been stored in the back of his mind for times of use. He can easily recognize when something can possibly turn into a bigger situation, and always creates a last minute plan just in case he needs to use it. This includes what he says in conversation, how he acts, ect.<div align="center">
<div align="center">Jeremiah's not completely void inside, though. He's as loyal as a dog once he's let his guard down, which has lead to him being easily manipulated in the past. Being his friend is kind of a dangerous game, since he'll obey your every word but his annoyance and anger is built up overtime, leading to a volcano of emotion. When Jeremiah's anger has boiled up to the point of it letting loose, it's something close to an eight year old's tantrum. He can't seem to get a grip on his emotions, and usually lets them roam at will. His mannerisms depending on his moods are quite unusual as well. He is seen pulling out his hair when he's stressed, angry, or in those rare moments where he's melancholy. It's his go-to tic, though every now and then he can be caught scratching the skin off around his knuckles. It's a bad habit, yes, but it was never like he was taught better.<div align="center">
<div align="center">[ appearance ]<div align="center">Jeremiah is the living embodiment of the balance between "fit" and "malnourished." He's a tad bit underweight but still with a good bit of muscle on his arms. His skin is warm ivory color with a beige sort of glow to it. His skin is perfectly clear and blemishless, despite how deathly it can appear in certain lightning. The only cicatrix on him is a thin, lengthy scar going down the side of his left forearm. It's an unusual peachy color, emphasizing the fact that it was sure a painful wound when he had gotten it, otherwise it would've been just a shade lighter than the rest of his skin. He doesn't even really try to hide it and marks it off as a childhood memory, in which it practically is, but with a deeper meaning underneath it. It stretches down a few inches from below his wrist to the crease of his elbow.<div align="center">
<div align="center">Jeremiah stands at 5'10, though can seem a few inches shorter because of his consistent slouch and just all-around bad posture. Even in chairs with straight backs will he find a weirder way to sit, just causing even more problems for his back. Other than that, he's of a pretty average height and is at least glad he's taller than most females he's met in his small amount of social life. His build is somewhat lanky, but mainly of average weight (160 lbs) for his height. He has a bit of muscle, enough to throw a good punch, but not enough to the point where it's noticeable. He used to be able to keep up a good workout routine until giving up on it completely. Jeremiah makes sure to eat well to keep his ideal body.<div align="center">
<div align="center">Jeremiah typically wears black tee shirts, pants, and sneakers, because it's what his job requires. Blood stains are not easily seen in black clothing, plus it is easier to clean and keep tidy for work. Not only that, Jeremiah just loves darker colors like gray and dark blue. He does have some other clothes that are different than black and they are only blue. On colder days, Jeremiah will wear his favorite, gray long-sleeve shirt. He has an obsessive need with keeping it clean, but that's a story for another time. On rare occasions does he actually make an effort to look nice, maybe a pair of torn up jeans, a belt, and a tucked in shirt. You can already guess the colors.

He calls her at least once everyday, and goes into a neurotic frenzy when he hasn't been able to speak with her. She is the only person that can get him out of his melt-downs, and the only person that he probably would kill for. She has always been the caring figure in his life, and he has sometimes looked at her like the only reason why he was still around. His mother is the only person that Jeremiah goes to for problems, not even close friends or partners, but always seeks her comfort when he is feeling troubled. Even through his childhood, Quynh has loved him question-lessly and comforted him even when it looked like there was no hope of pulling him out of his childlike shell.<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">[ Teo Hiep / Father / 49 / Alive ]<div style="text-align: center;">Jeremiah has a burning hatred for his father due to a major part of his past, mixed with light themes of psychological abuse. He shows absolutely no care in this man, despite being around him constantly. Jeremiah has just learned to ignore him and pretend that he is nothing more than another dust mote floating in the wind. His mother frequently tries to get him to talk to him and try to rekindle their relationship, though Jeremiah cuts off the conversation at that and will leave her alone for the rest of the day. At family gatherings, neither of them pay attention to the other although they acknowledge one another's presence. Teo's impression on Jeremiah isn't that positive either, since he's seen the progression of his worsening mental health and is convinced that had played no part in it, and it was rather just Jeremiah himself. Despite their internal dislike for one another, they are identical, from their looks and even down to voice.<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">[ hobbies ]<div style="text-align: center;">- Touring morgues. Jeremiah enjoys the eerie solemness of morgues, and enjoys being a helping hand around there for the embalmers. He finds it helps him with his job as a coroner, though one day he'd like to be able to be an mortician. He has a good bit of knowledge on mortuary science, having a degree in it an all, but before he'd get a job at a funeral, he at least wants some bigger education in the medical field.<div style="text-align: center;">- Organizing. Jeremiah's a kook for organized lists, rooms, and a life overall. His apartment looks like a neat freak lives there, since everything is sorted down to the very pieces of dust. If the slightest thing is out of place, he'll go into a frenzy and see what else has been moved. The only thing that prevents him from fully loving water is the fact he doesn't know how to swim. He was taught once, but that ended up pretty horribly.<div style="text-align: center;">- Sundown scenery. Despite being drawn to darker colors, he loves fiery ones like oranges, yellows, and warm reds. He also likes just watch the sun go down because it signals the arrival of night, a long moment of time where he has all of this peace to himself. Jeremiah tends to collect lots of postcards of sunsets or sunrises, just because.<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">[ fears ]<div style="text-align: center;">- Jeremiah has Aphenphosmphobia, the fear of being touched. He can handle a pat on the back or shaking someone's hand, but hugs and being uncomfortably close to another person gives him unexplainable anxiety. If it is someone he's comfortable with, such as a love interest, family member or close friend, he'll have no problem giving affection. But more distant friends and acquaintances have a major trouble getting within even three feet of him. Jeremiah will just step back and continue to do so.<div style="text-align: center;">- Jeremiah's other fear is Hemophobia, the fear of blood. The terror in his eyes when he sees blood is much more overwhelming than the aforementioned one. He simply cannot stand the sight, causing either a recoil or just for him to completely shut down. There's no telling where this came from.<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">[ mannerisms ]<div style="text-align: center;">- When Jeremiah is troubled or anything close to that, his immediate response is to start pulling out his hair. It's not a physical response he willingly controls, and rather just lets his body take over for him in that instant.<div style="text-align: center;">- Jeremiah also has the habit of bringing his hands to his face and just putting his palms on his cheeks. He feels it's a good way to calm himself down, and if someone close to him is troubled of sorts, he'll usually bring their hands up to their face and rest them there until they keep them there themselves.<div style="text-align: center;">- Jeremiah's most noticeable and most heavily relied on mannerism is the fact he talks to himself and to other things around him. He could be talking to a mirror for hours and not even be in the slightest bit bored. Hell, it's probably and incredibly deep conversation about life he's having with himself. There's no telling what he's saying most of the time, as he tends to fluctuate between Vietnamese and English, and also mash the words together.

Jeremiah can at least try to initiate interest in what the other is saying, and most of the time, actually works. Growing up with extremely little socialization, she comes off as gauche around others and it's extremely hard for her to make conversation, though she tries very hard to implement herself in dialogue when it's needed. She typically finds herself copying the mannerisms of others as a visceral survival contact, something she developed living around her mother, and finds that it actually helps pretty well. She also has the tendency to be untrustworthy of others, but will immediately attach herself to someone if they do so much as give her a compliment. Even then, she'll find herself smitten by their words though subconsciously still be afraid of their presence.<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">Because of her timidness, she finds it incredibly hard to have trust in anything. Even simple things like the weather predictions or the someone proclaiming they locked a door, her first thought is that they are either lying or are trying to protect a secret underneath. Even with people she utterly trusts, whatever they say is completely unreliable to her unless it's something as powerful as a promise. A promise is something that isn't broken without consequence on that person's end, but if it is, Cybele is the type to seek quiet revenge but never face confrontation. <div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">She can come off as creepy if she doesn't play her cards right. She would rather stand in the doorway and watch as a group of people played a card game rather than joining in. Not because of social anxiety or her immense shyness, it's her lack of knowledge on how to talk to others. Cybele can come off as incredibly blunt (when she does speak) and always take a long time to respond to someone. Before she responds, she thinks about what she's going to say over and over again to the point where it's repetitive in her mind. But even then, her words are just about choked and slip ungracefully off of her tongue. Cybele would like to have friends and a social life, but she's just been so affected by her childhood to the point where it's almost impossible.<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">[ appearance ]<div style="text-align: center;">Cybele's face is a rounded shape with a button nose and strikingly green eyes with faded, brown freckles in the iris. Her cheeks are naturally puffed out with a soft jaw, her appearance easily mistaken for a youthful teen. Her face is quite innocent, with wide, curious eyes that are never not gleam less. Her smile is sweet and demure, with crow's feet at the corner of her eyes and wrinkles forming on her nose. Her cheeks and nose bridge are dappled with extremely light, almost invisible, freckles which are an orangey color. Her hair and bangs are made up of wild curls that are utterly un-brush-able, but reaches down to her mid-back section after years of not having a haircut. The color is a honey-marigold hue, since her parents are a blonde and redhead. Most days, she puts it up in a ponytail or braid. <div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">Cybele stands at about 5'5 or 5'4, though her exact height is unknown. She has an elegantly thin figure though she also has weak, bent posture when sitting. Her legs are feeble as well, and tend to tremble underneath her after 30 minutes of standing, meaning she's sitting most of the time. Her physique is proper but frail, though she tries to eat her best and keep down the malnourishment. Her skin is a porcelain white with little to no blemishes, though she does have a semi-large permanent bruise on her ribs that's a deep shade of purple and completely conflicts with her faultless demeanor. She does not tan nor sunburn, and it shows in her pale palms.<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">Cybele's daily outfit mainly consists of something comfy, like a lace nightgown, or on other days, a pair of jeans and a sweater. She's made the majority of her clothing and because of her natural love for the delicate figures of snowflakes and dollies, she incorporates a lot of lace into the clothing items she makes. Chantilly lace is the most occurring pattern. She favors brighter colors likes whites, baby blues and pinks, but also loves dark grays and cyans. Most times, her shirt is either a light pink or ivory color, while her jeans are just a washed-out blue. A pair of shoes she tends to wear often are some hand-me-down checkered vans that are a size too small, but ones that she still manages to squeeze on.
