Shadow of the Sun | Shadow | Male | 5 | Tonneoshet ° Character Name: Shadow of the Sun Preferred Name: Shadow Gender: Male Age: 5 Years ° Appearance: Shadow stands at a looming 3'2 with a heavily muscular built body weighing him at 142 pounds {64KG's Approx.} His face is on the rounder side of the scale, making his skull and head appear larger, fluffier and more daunting. His jaw is well formed, his mouth lined with off white sharp teeth and canine fangs that give him an intimidating and eerie aura when he flashes them in a vicious snarl or growl. His fur is slightly on the longer side, giving it a ripple effect as he navigates different terrains, often resulting in it catching many leaves, twigs and clumps of dust/dirt as he travels the forest. The fur itself is a deep brown with black runic like markings ghosting the tips, appearing a much brighter golden brown in direct or heavy sunlight. His eyes follow suit of his pelt, appearing a dark oak like brown with brighter gold flecks spread throughout his iris. The claws on each of his paws remain an almost jet black and often carry dirt build up underneath, although he does his best to keep his appearance up. He fosters very little numbers of scars, majority of which are completely covered by his long pelt, mostly scratches he picked up on his travels as a young pup. He wears a bear skull as a trophy from one he had slain many years back, and atop the skull he bares two deep brown antlers decorated in golden wire and charms that glow faintly in dim lighting, often bringing out the golden flecks of his eyes as they appear to glow as well. He collects most sharp teeth from predator creatures he hunts and slays, using the teeth as a trophy in a collection he wears on a necklace around his neck, the rope itself was gifted by the careless bickering of crows who had dropped it during flight as they passed him by. {In this RP, the bone wings, the exposed ribs, the dagger and the metal claws are not equipped.} ° Personality: Shadow usually treads with caution and a clear head, well prepared to adapt to most situations he thinks possible in most locales. He keeps his wits about him and will often use intelligence over brute strength when hunting to conserve strength and stamina. He can become flustered or embarrassed easily when conversing with others as his upbringing allowed him limited contact with other wolves, making his social skills next to no existent. He can be very empathetic towards other wolves or other creatures in general that he comes across, and while he is still required to kill while hunting, he tends to not be cruel in toying with his prey, offering them a quick and merciful death. Sometimes a tone of sarcasm can be heard carried beneath or within his words or behaviour, the realisation that not everyone knows as much as he may not yet landing its mark in his mind. He isnt one to back away from a fight if it's necessary, however he would much rather prefer talking things over with others than to spill blood carelessly. He has a soft side to him which allows him to enjoy the smaller things in life, bringing him joy from activities such as swimming or casual strolls as well as sniffing or picking wildflowers and berries to snack on. He tends to be the gifting sort as he isn't great with words and speaking his mind. Through thoughtful gestures, he can show others around him he listens, he remembers, and he cares. ° Strengths: °~With his heavy weight and his looming height, intimidation and confrontations can be one of his stronger points. He carries most of the advantages in battle aside from speed and maneuverability. ° °~His longer pelt protects him from most scratches of sticks and rocks, allowing him to withstand some forms of damage for longer before becoming injured. °~ °~His time spent wandering the lands aimlessly has allowed him to learn quickly in the ways of adapting to certain terrains, temperatures and weather. ° Weaknesses: °~Due to his size and weight, moving around quickly in the midst of a battle can be difficult making dodging increasingly harder for him. ° °~He dislikes fighting and often his empathy will get in the way of most of his survival required actions. He'd much rather resolve conflicts peacefully. ° °~While he has travelled and grown up alone, traversing most treacherous landscapes known to him, he carries a great fear of thunderstorms {The volume of the thunder itself} and sudden bright lights such as sparks, lightning and sometimes, even fireflies. ° Other: Shadow in all his time travelling has only met one other wolf before meeting stone, a younger male wolf who was also wandering the lands aimlessly. The two shared many moons together growing a close bond, with the male granting Shadow his title "Shadow of the Sun". Shadow had been confused by the title, but before long, merely a few days later, his friend had disappeared. Worried his friend may have been intimidated by some of his antics, his size, his strength, He convinced himself the title was not of good heart, but more of a warning to enemies that even a bright star, forever shining could cast a shadow of itself upon others. |

StoneStripe | Stone| Female| 3| HollowClaw Character name: Stone Gender: Female Age: 3 Appearance: Stone considers herself a average wolf at her age at 2'9 and with a slim build and weight at 121 pounds. She has somewhat thick fur but not overly fluffed. Her eyes are a piercing icy blue and she has short soft face fur. She has a average build of face and small tufts of fur on the tips of her ears. Her fur is a deep copper brown fading to black at her legs and tail and a lighter muzzle. She had a few scars across her though many not really visible. Those that are is a small one across her cheek, which was caused by a eagle attack when she was a pup. Another is from her hind leg to mid stomach from a territory dispute. She keeps her fur clean most of the time which doesn't allow much visible forest trash. She has a pair of antlers she wears time to time which she found tossed away near some human town. She once carried a little snow white pup toy her mother gave her until it become lost. Her last accessories are a star and moon necklace and golden rings which she refuses to say where from. ( She wears nothing but the necklace in the roleplay.) Personality: Stone is often guarded around strangers due to the harsh treatment of packs she had in the past. She though doesn't allow herself to be the first to attack. She often will remain in one place to determine safe or not. She will ask questions while keeping a close eye and guard of the stranger. Once she has determine a wolf is safe she becomes more open and friendly as if she was never suspicious. She becomes loyal and caring and ready to listen to one. She is often simple minded and ready to help. She won't judge any wolf on their past and instead their current actions. Having grown up within a mountain pack Stone has half became numb to the cold months of winter. She though has yet to get use to the feeling of warmer summers and messes with her mood. Though she does what she can to not lash out. She prefers words to fighting and is more of a hunter then a fighter. Strength: One of her main strengths is speed. Thanks to her smaller and leaner build she can easily be in and out of a place. She henceforth prefers Hunting over a lot, even if it's just to stretch her legs. She's found, though not working on every wolf, that if she remains quiet and calm she is a very good sneaker. Her pelt often blends well in a forest and it's thickness protects from most of its cruel bushes and growth. Stone is also a excellent swimmer. She practices often when she can building up her leg strength and skill of it. She has yet to meet a place of water she couldn't cross. Weakness: Stone can sometimes be to trustworthy in those who earned it. She begins to turn a blind eye to their antics and it has cost her food and sometimes even a land to stay for the night. Though she's not afraid to resort to it Stone isn't a great fighter. She gets the basics but after that she has nothing special. Hence why she prefers to speak in a threatening tone and with growls in hope of making them think she's a great fighter and to scare them. Stone can get terribly homesick and worried. She sometimes stares into the distance and thinks of home, which has made her seem weird to some and ends up making her tone things out. She also can get be very anxious and worried about those who promise a time and go over it. Other: Stone grew up within the mountains and is most comfortable and knowledged of there. Her pawpads had also grown terribly soft do to soft forest ground instead of hard mountain stone. Shadow is also amongst the first few who didn't tear Stone apart at first sight and to which she is greatful for. Her original name was also StoneStripe but she had decided change of home needed a change of name. |

Shadow of the Sun | Shadow | Male | 5 ° Shadow made his way over to the bush he had appeared from, casting a glance back towards Stone as he softly wagged his tail while watching her expectantly to follow him back. His eyes scanned over Stones pelt, taking everything about her in, the colouring of her fur, the striking colour of her eyes. He felt himself holding a breath he hadn't realised he was holding. Softly he breathed out as he looked away. 'alright, it's just another wolf, don't freak out. She's not going to hurt you..' He thought to himself as he paused and quickly glanced back. 'probably...' ... 'Hopefully.' He shook his head to himself to clear it of the thoughts that tried to weave their way into his brain, his paranoia dissipating as he told himself she was okay. The dark fur along his spine stood up a little as he nuzzled the bush, pushing aside some of the sharper twigs before pushing through the undergrowth with all his strength, his fur snagging on a few branches but he paid it no mind as he made his way back to the badger burrow he had temporarily attained. |

StoneStripe| Stone| Female| 3 Stone took one last glance around the clearing before following the bigger male out of it. Her mind was at ease of following him, no longer seeing him as a stranger and one to fear. She felt she could trust him completely as she followed him through the bushes. But as one or two sharp twigs scrapped her pelt a small part of her was still suspicious. And when he glanced back she gave a nod. . " Did you clear the badger out or just know when it's coming back?" She asked as she followed. She knew it wasn't that far but felt she shouldn't let silence creep in. . She took a moment to take in the forest while she waited a answer. The trees the forest scents... It all was so different and she couldn't tell if in a bad or good way. She did however know it was a good feeling of setting her paw down on the forest floor and it no longer sending pain through her. |

But I suppose we reached an agreement in the end." Shadow nodded to himself as he weaved around some partially thicker bushes and other plants of the undergrowth, his paws crunching with every step as he padded over twigs, sticks and dried leaves. ° He cast a glance back at her as he made sure she was keeping up alright with his lengthy steps. "Your paw seems to be fine now." He mumbled a little under his breath, his eyes trained in on her every step, the way her fur moved, the way the light shines from it- ° Shadow glanced away as he felt himself growing near the den, the scent of himself growing as he pushed past a final few bushes, revealing the rather large hold that settled beneath a trees roots. |

She smiled a little bit before putting her glance back Infront, where Shadow's scent was getting stronger. . Stone once again noticed how much bigger Shadow was. For every one step he took, Stone took two small ones. But she didn't mind, for she enjoyed the fact that she was following someone instead of being chased away. - Could this really be the forest? Or is it going to seem okay but be very empty?- Her mind fretted. . She just missed Shadow's glance at her as the reached the den. Not having seen it up close she bounded past him to get a closer look. " Not bad of a place. Looks safe and secure." She commented looking at the roots and poking her nose inside. |

He mumbled as he padded inside, settling near the mouth of the den as he lay himself down, gazing up at Stone as she now towered over him. "It's not much but its decent for a temporary den, I'll have to keep an eye out for something bigger." He rambled before cutting himself off as his eyes widened a tiny bit before he nervously chuckled. "Apologies, getting ahead of myself there. Where will you be headed after this? Will you bs staying in the forest or carrying on?" He asked with a small tilt of his head, his left ear flopping down a bit. |

StoneStripe|Stone|Female|3 " Well, a den is a den. I'd just be glad I even managed to find one." She said before padding into it. She walked around Shadow and settled near the back of it. She now knew why he ment it was only decent. It wasn't as big as the dens she was use to but it would work. . " Oh...Uh..." She suddenly realized that the only time she thought about that was on the way to this den. Stone lay her head on her paws and pressed her tail to her side. " Truthfully I might wander around this forest and see what it has to offer. If nothing, I'll check a little farther for good land. If that doesn't work..." Stone paused and let out a sigh. . " I'll head back to the mountains and see if my old pack will let me in. If not then I'll wander forever, because there would be no place else to go." Stone finished, and she kept her gaze away from Shadow. |

Shadow of the Sun | Shadow | Male | 5 "So a death wish? Surely there's more for you to want to pursue outside of all this. There's always time to change your mind. Perhaps find a different place to call home. A new pack. Or even just a new friend. Then you won't be alone on your travels at least if worst comes to worse." Shadow grumbled a bit as he let his head rest on-top of his paws, his tail curving slightly as it traced around his flank, plastering itself to his side as it filled him with a small comfort of warmth. ° "Needless to say, should you feel comfortable I wouldn't mind the extra paws. Can't exactly say I have a home of my own either. Not that I've traveled as far as you have by the sounds of it, but it might be a change of pace to see more of the world outside these forests." His gaze settled slightly elevated, brushing along the tree tops as the leaves gave a soft wave of colour, sun light filtering through to light up the forest floor. |
