Watching the boy, Ayesha shakes her head. How could anyone survive that? They hadn't managed to make it to somewhere safe. Besides, her sensitive senses couldn't pick up anything. No shallow breathing, no faint heartbeat, no dying whimpers. Nothing. In fact, the young weredragon had never heard the school so quiet
"God, what was that?"
She mutters, as she moves away from the bleachers, walking towards where the middle of the gym was. Nor had she ever seen or heard of the school getting attacked or damanged. Whoever had targeted them must be an alumni of the school. To know how to break the wards of the school and attack at the perfect moment. Sure the school had security to keep away evil and strange creatures, but they were mainly their to keep away mortals. There were changes in shifts and spots five minutes before classes ended. |

Apelios stood out in the ruins of the school, silent for a long solemn moment. The dust in the air hung and glittered in the dappled sunlight that shone down on the rubble. His shoulders lowered, tail drooping before he sighed and shifted back to his usual form. "If I knew what that was," he paused briefly and then made his way over the rubble to stand beside her. "I don't think I would want to see it again. But at the same time, clearly someone had have to have known where we are and what we're doing..." Apelios trailed off for a moment while his thoughts danced around his head. "I wish I had an idea," he mused, waving one hand before he let out a short huff. "But I don't. If we had a little bit of knowledge about who might have a grudge against the school?" Leo began pacing back and forth, stumbling several times over the broken concrete. "Everybody we could have asked," he gestured to the rest of the ruins. "Is dead." He rubbed his face, smearing dirt. |

Her teeth flash briefly, she wasn't afraid of a fight. But she couldn't lie, she wouldn't want to fight or even see what ever the hell they had just watched(Or heard) destroy the school. Ayesha's gaze flashes to the boy as he joins her in the rubble of the fallen gym. "Exactly. This was no unplanned attack. It was planned to the perfect time. When our boundries are at the weakest. When the guards are changing shifts and when all the students are distracted talking or doing work."
The weredragon shakes her head, tipping her head back to look at the sky then looking at the ground, and finally back at the boy. "No, the school never talked about previous alumni who may have had a grudge, or anyone else. They just warned us to be careful, and never let mortals know we are extrodinary." Shrugging, Ayesha's blue eyes flash in the sun. "But. I may know someone who might know even something." Subconciously the young weredragon turns to fce the direction of her house.
"I live with a alumni guardian, since my um....parents." Ayesha hesitates, before moving on quickly. "Well my guardian is of the ancient times, well I guess not that anicent, just about thirty-forty years ago when there were big clans of wereanimals and things like that. She will probably know something. Anything." Her gaze flashes to the boy,"If you're willing to make the possibly dangerous trek to the house." |

Leo blinked a couple times before shaking his head and shrugging. Half of what she had said went over his head and the other half, what little he could make sense of... sounded like leaving the school grounds. His lips pursed before he let out a small sighed and stumbled over towards the young woman. "Might as well, I don't think we have any other better alternatives really." Leo paused before extending his hand. "Apelios, but... you can call me Leo." ((Ehhhh, it's like brain-dead short but I just want to get a reply in real quickly before I actually lose my idea. >.>)) |

The boy seemed uncertain and hesitant, and honestly? Ayesha didn't blame him. After all they were taught that almost nothing could penetrate and attack the school. That they were safe from attacks and safe from mortals. Turns out the school lied. Then the boy agrees as he stumbles over towards her. Ayesha mutters,"No doubt." As she shoots a glance towards her guardian's house. Ayesha and her guardian never really got along, they got alog enough to live in the same house. But that was it. Course the death of her parents was a wedge that drove the two apart, since her guardian wouldn't tell Ayesha how they died.
"Ayesha, but you can call me Ash."
Came the half absent minded response as she shakes his hand. Nodding at Leo. Before starting off at a slow pace,"It's this way." She glances back at Leo,"Just...My guardian is cranky and a bit snappy. So hope you are ready for that." Then Ayesha starts off again, her pace speeding up just a hint as she half limps off. Headed through the ruined gym towards the now shattered boundary towards her guardian's home.

Apelios drew his eyes around the rubble of the school. "We should tell someone this happened," he said quietly, rubbing the back of his neck. "This..." he hesitated and then sighed. "They don't deserve to just be here without ... without resting peacefully." He finally shook his head and trailed after Ayesha, his awkward gait not much faster than Ayesha's limping pace. The safe feeling that had come from the barrier had faded, almost immediately and the hollow feeling of being seen... was... almost too much. "Well, if they're too cranky... I might be... irritated back," he said absentmindedly. |

"Who do we tell? We don't know where the Council sits." The Council was the leaders of the extraordinary world, all voted in by the extraordinary. Ayesha sighs,"We can tell my guardian, she will know what to do. And it won't surprise me if she is on the Council. She is very secretive." Ayesha wasn't allowed in certain parts of the house, and some kind of magic bound certain doors shut and sealed. Making it pretty much impossible to get in, so Ayesha quit trying.
She hesitates where the barrier use to be, no longer feeling safe. Then with a sigh, the young weredragon continues on. Moving quietly through the forest, until the house came into sight. Only to see her guardian already standing on the porch. Bright gold eyes shining, signaling her guardian was in her shifted form. The form of a elf. A light elf. Ayesha limps up to the porch. Greeting her guardian.
"Alisane."
Alisane bobs her head,"Ayesha." Her golden gaze shifts to Ayesha's friend,"Leo." Ayesha's gaze narrows in confusion,"How do you know his name?" Alisane's response was simple,"The Council knows all." Ayesha rolls her eyes,"So you are on the Council." Alisane nods,"The Council wouldn't trust anyone else to watch over Caiden and Isabelle Macleod's sole heir." Ayesha's eyes narrow again. "My parents didn't die of a car wreck did they?"
Alisane sighs as her elf forms shrinks away back into her human form,"Calm down young weredragon. Your temper will get the best of you one day." Ayesha's eyes flare, and Alisane returns the gaze calmly. "No, your parents did not die in a car wreck." The elf's gaze turns to Leo, then back to Ayesha. "Come inside you two, I will tell you how your parents died Ayesha. And I will tell you why the school was attacked." |

Leo felt his heart skip a couple beats before he narrowed his eyes and opened his mouth. "In all due respect, I fail to see how knowing that is going to help us figure out what all attacked us and how we're supposed to stop it from attacking someone or something else," he blurted the words before he could really think them through and promptly closed his mouth. Although naturally thoughtful, Leo had a short burst of thoughtlessness. Or perhaps just impulsiveness leftover from the shock. Still, he was silent after speaking, looking at teh council woman for a long moment. |

As Ayesha follows Alisane inside and sits down. Alisane hesitates glancing at Leo, with a hint of amusement in her eyes. "You remind me of an old friend." Before she proceeds to explain. "It will help because whatever attacked your school? They sent a smaller but tamer beast to finish off Ayesha's parents." Alisane shoots a sympathetic glance towards her young ward. "And perhaps it will give Ash some closure. Closure she has been looking for, for a long time."
Then the elf sweeps inside, settling down. The story was mainly for Ayesha, but it wouldn't hurt for Leo to hear it too. So Alisane begins, capturing Ayesha's attention at once.
"Sixteen years ago, your parents went on a mission for the Council. Leaving you in my care. However they never returned from the mission, and when we sent another pair they too did not return. It took another five years for us to finally figure out what happened to your parents and the other agents." Ayesha was enthralled, she had been wanting to know how her parents died for years.
"A organization called Ender's Eye is made up of Extraordinary, evil ones. Some graduated from the school to join the Ender's Eye. But some were just enlisted. The founders of the Ender's Eye are somehow still alive and the Council believes that the Ender's Eye is using evil and dark magic to make their agents immortal. With one goal, making the mortal world slaves, and allowing the Ender's Eye to rule over all." Alisane pauses, sighing slightly.
"The organization has grown larger and more powerful then we could ever handle, so we sent your parents in in hopes that they could act as spies for us. However the founders discovered your parents at once, and rooted them out. They were given one chance to join the Ender's Eye and betray the Council's secrets. Caiden and Isabella refused to become traitors, and so the Ender's Eye killed them." Alisane closes her eyes briefly, before reopening them.
"Ender's Eye targeted and killed some of our best agents. Now they have targeted the school of the future Council and good." |

Leo set his chin in the palm of his hand, listening idly. Blah blah blah. Ender's Eye. Blah blah. It was, in all entirety, nothing new to him. His ruby eyes flicked upward as he finally leaned back and crossed his arms over his chest. "We knew about the Ender's Eye group," he stated. "At least the school president and student council did. We know what they are planning, how could this have happened?" His eyes narrowed before he tilted his head and sighed. "They're under extreme watch, it's ..." Leo frowned. "It's not... I don't think... it's them." |
