Okey)) ~ It had been a day since Astrid arrived with the books, meaning that today was her third day. The sun was way to bright here Beans decided as the rays seared her eyelids. Slowly, so slowly, she blinked awake, sitting up with a yawn. She was still in her pjs, that being an oversized shirt and sweatpants. After a moment, she stood and looked out where she assumed there had once been a window, looking out among the vast world that seemed so tiny from the window. It was beautiful there, and her hands itched for her camera, so she could capture the sunrise.

Nathaniel's barely there form weaved throughout the building. He did this every morning - checking to see how the building fared, if it would crumble more, or if something had shifted to where he could enter his room or Christian's room. Even when the building was still standing proudly, he had not been able to gain access to those rooms. Everywhere else in the house he was free to enter and exit, but he could not gain entry to the two rooms that might have been able to explain anything.

After a few moments, Astrid ran over to her bag, grabbed her camera, and did, indeed, take photos of the sunrise. Truthfully, she couldn't remember the last time she woke up so early, and although it was awful, it was also kinda nice in a way. She could hear the birds wake and tweet their little songs, and watch as the world in general woke up. Plus, this was one of her rare opportunities to take a picture of the sunrise, and she would not let it go to waste. Once she was done snapping a trillion photos, Beans skipped over to her little spot and sat down. She tucked away her camera and took out her lunchbox. Looking at the food, she realized that today would have to be her last day before she went back over to her own home. Somehow, the idea of going back to the real world seemed forlorn and...empty. Despite the fact that Astrid's family was wonderful, she was still alone in her apartment, and the idea of someone just not being there seemed impossible now. Astrid didn't realize she'd adjusted so quickly. Snapping herself out of her thoughts, Astrid snatched up the breakfast bar out of her bag and began to eat. Somehow, even thought her mouth was full, she still seemed content.

When Astrid was halfway through with her breakfast bar, Nathaniel's presence solidified a mere few feet away from her, calmly sitting down. He flickered in and out of existence for a few seconds, before finally settling. It was not the form that was able to interact with the world, but was visible to the human eye.

Astrid looked up at Nathaniel's form, and once she'd swallowed her food, she gave him a warm smile. "Good morning!" As always, Astrid seemed way too happy, her eyes gleaming with a childish joy that lit up any room she entered. She didn't quite know where she'd acquired the talent, but it definitely came in handy with her job and all. "Did you see the sunrise this morning? It was absolutely stunning." Beans gave Nathaniel another blinding smile, excitment coating her features and tinging her cheeks a light pink.

Nathaniel nodded his head, "Yes. The sunrises are always quite beautiful out here. The view is uninterrupted - and from the higher floors, you were able to see for miles." Nathaniel remembered seeing the stars and the sunrises and sunsets from the spires of the building, the cold stone beneath his fingers, and the fine grain that would wear off on them. There was solid ground underneath his feet, and there was never a fear of slipping through the ground because he wasn't focusing enough. Nathaniel pulled away from his memories, and looked sharply upstairs, then back to Astrid, "I would like to try something. There are two rooms I cannot enter - one of them would still be accessible for you, and it should be safe. The ground is relatively sturdy - and it is not like I weigh anything."

Girl needs a shower ummm, literally just realized that um ew.)) ~~ Beans looked out the broken window as Nathaniel spoke, her eyes coated with a sort of dazed glaze. She quickly blinked out of it though, and returned her gaze back to Nathaniel, her smile quickly disappearing as he turned relatively serious. It took her a moment to realize what he was asking of her, and pretty soon, she was nodding vigorously. She was obviously always ready for a new adventure, even if said adventure was rather dangerous since she could easily just, you know, fall through the floor and die. Which wasn't the most appealing thought. Shaking herself out of her thoughts, Astrid stood and brushed herself off, pulling her camera out of her bag and easily hanging it around her neck. After this week, she was pretty sure her followers would be tired of the manor, but she wasn't tired of it, in fact, with each passing day her curiosity grew more and more. She wanted to help Nathaniel pass on, she wanted to see him released from this lonely manor to go on to whatever came after. He deserved that much. "That sounds great to me, I'm pretty petite so even if the floor is unstable I'm sure it'll be fine. Can you lead me to the door? I don't want to walk through the wrong one and end up, you know, splat." Despite her dark words, Astrid was still grinning and even giggled softly at her sound effects.

If Nathaniel had more control over his face, he would have raised an eyebrow. Nevertheless, he beckoned to Astrid, and began walking up the stairs, "I have not been able to enter Christian's room ever since I passed. Even before the incident, I never went into his room out of respect for his privacy. Years of aging most likely has degraded most of it, but...." Nathaniel tried to keep his voice even, but there was a hopeful note to it. Maybe, there might be a key to everything unlocked in Christian's old chambers.

Once in awhile, Astrid met someone who didn't quite understand her ever changing sense of humor. Most of the time, Nathaniel didn't, which was completely understandable all things considered. In this case, he obviously hadn't, but Astrid didn't really mind, she was just happy to help in whatever way she could. "Hopefully there is some sort of clue then, if that's all then we should get going. My ma is going to start calling soon, wondering where I'm at, and I don't have much reception out here so then she'll get even more worried when I don't pick up." Astrid sighed, but hope had her excited, and she fought back the sleep that coated her eyes.

Nathaniel nodded, and led the way upstairs. He bypassed his old room, and paused in front of Christians. The wooden door had long since rotted away, and there were boulders in the way. There was, however, a gap just large enough for a small person to get through. Nathaniel looked tense, and simply said, "I cannot pass through. I try looking - and I see, but the instant I look away, I can no longer remember anything I had seen or thought while looking in there."
