Rowan gave the surrounding forest an appreciative look, "God's above. I know it to be true, but..." Rowan trailed off, and changed the subject, "You're really over 200 years old? That seems... insane.Do you remember your time well, or does it all blend together?" Will she one day be an insignificant speck in Alvaro's life? Sure, Rowan was immortal, but times changed and people spread apart. Plus, she was on the ground. It would be hard to live in an airborne city. |

Alvaro looked up at the trees as Rowan took it all in. He was very old, compared to all the other faeries here. Yet he was still very young too. A lucky faerie good live until 900 without ever showing signs of slowing down. It was just a sudden, yet expected death. When he answered Rowan's questions, he said it simply, with no hint of caution. He just spoke the truth. "To be exact, in human years I am 243 years old. In this village and many others, you will not find anyone older than me other than Kori, or anyone my exact age. All the children born in my year were slaughtered in the first Pixie vs Faerie war. It is why our numbers are still rather low. As for my memory, I do not remember most of the things that happened during the war, not because I've forgotten, but because my mind has blocked it out. Which is perfectly fine by me. And faeries are equipped with excellent memory. As we have to learn from past mistakes." Alvaro laid this down gently. With the ease of having said it many times to younger faeries who did not know the way. |

Rowan was quiet, almost too quiet for a boisterous spirit like her, "I am sorry for your people," She finally said, "War is not easy on the soul. It is good that the village was able to grow back, and heal, at least from first appearances." Rowan wondered if she would remember as the years passed on, "And your age... You've been through the start and ending of empires. It is astounding, yet also... are you lonely? At times when there is no one who understands?" |

Alvaro nodded in agreement with Rowan. Yes, he'd built this town up, had seen it broken down but continued to build it back up. This was his town, he'd built it when he was the equivalent of 18 in the human world. He loved his home, he'd built it using his own magic and wouldn't have it any other way. Even if he was lonely as hell. "War is something that always happens, no matter how peaceful my kind is. As for loneliness, yes, sometimes it strikes me in my sleep and I am engulfed by it. Faeries normally stay close to their families for life but I do not have a family. So I have been alone for many, many years. Families are what ties all faeries together. We all have one main goal so we don't argue with each other over it." Alvaro paused for a moment, he had never said what he was about to say to anyone before, mostly because he did not wish to worry them. "As the second in command, it's my duty to make sure all the faeries under my protection are happy and at peace. It also means any faeries in my general area are able to feel my emotions. So it is also my duty, to only be happy. Anger, sadness, anxiety, things that are considered bad emotions I am not allowed to feel these things. My argument with Kori made everyone agitated," Alvaro trailed off, maybe he shouldn't say this but he had to. This was his only chance to talk. "So yes, loneliness if often shadowing me." |

Rowan rubbed a comforting hand along Alvaro's arm, "I didn't know.... If I can help you in any way... Tell me how." His life seemed to difficult, yet here he was. The fact that Alvaro could still smile even though he was stuck, "You are brave. I know I couldn't do it." That wasn't something that Rowan would admit often. |

Alvaro seemed slightly startled by Rowan's sudden touch. His green eyes widening before he finally settled back down into the rhythm of human touch. "There is no way for you to help, though talking about it has indeed eased the burden of knowledge greatly. Just as I thought it would." He smiled kindly, not the fake smile he gave people when he was feelings something other than happiness. This was a good smile. |

"Maybe I can help you not feel so lonely. My little hut is, well, you know exactly where it is. The doors always open for you. Anytime you need to talk..." Rowan left the offer open, training off as they approached the house. Hyll was digging a hole a few yards away, with the help of Neo and Nakia, for her tree. |

Little Nakia had switched over to mountain lion form for better digging paws. It had startled Neo at first but after gently rubbing against him like a cat, Neo decided that Nakia's form was super cool. The kitten helped dig with Neo right there next to her. Alvaro watched the children with amusement. They were going to get along just fine it seemed. "Thank you Rowan. I appreciate it, and my home is always open to you, though it is quite far off the ground." He chuckles softly and watched as Nakia got some dirt on Neo's face and the boy looked utterly disgusted as the kitten howled with little yelps of laughter. |

Hyll helped Neo clean off, after she calmed down her giggling. Once the hole was deep enough, she planted her tree and covered the roots. A soft green glow sparked the air, and Hyll let out a deep sigh of relief, "This is home now," she announced. |

Nakia bounced around the tree and Hyll. Switching over to her human form where she was promptly covered in dirt from digging. "Yay! Now you're stuck with us forever." She was laughing though, her little fangs on full display as Neo smiled. |
