Fang~ Fang gave an annoyed growl. "You might have asked Yarrow, but you seem to have forgotten you two arent the only one's here. And yes, I am sure someone supposedly likes her only for the alpha rank. Did you not hear the stories from when we were pups of it happening to Luna's grandparents?" He shook his head. "I certainly wouldnt blame Luna if she hid her feelings about liking anyone. She does have more important things to think about right now anyway. Especially when it comes to the pack. After all, she cant just follow her heart. She needs to know whoever she picks can actually help the pack as well." |

Leaf - Leaf walked into the camp, His tail flicked back and forth in a content manner. He walked over to his usual spot, a rock that was in the perfect spot that the sun was almost always shining on it. He yawned it was still a bit early and Leaf not being much of an early riser. Wanted to listen to the birds. He swiveled his ears a bit, trying to listen in on what was going around in the forest. He couldn't hear much so he rested his head on his paws to relax. |

Chase-Fighter . Chase was suprised by Fang's reasoning. "Well, I guess your right." He said with a sigh. "But we should continue patrolling" and with that he turned on his heels and started walking again. I know i'd probably do the same thing if it were me. But I hope I get picked Beta and my brother her mate. |

Yarrow (mentions Fang, Chase and Luna) / Yarrow hummed in thought. "I doubt that Luna would pick a mate any time soon. I haven't seen her express any interest in anyone. Really, our poor leader had to suffer through numerous losses as well as getting the big responsibility of leading our pack". Yarrow sighed at the small bickering between Fang and Chase. Why did Luna place the two of them in the same group? // Stratus (mentions Luna) / Stratus looked at Luna with a determined look. "I will be as still as stone", he promised her, "I won't cause any more difficulties". He flattened his ears down, preparing himself for pain. This is my punishment for being too self-confident, he thought to himself. // Harmony (mentions Luna and Stratus) / Harmony nodded back, and wedged the stick in place. The trap creaked slightly, and Harmony felt her heart beat faster. This is looking good. Stratus hissed in pain, but did not move as he has promised. The fangs have released their hold on Stratus a bit, but Harmony knew that they jaws needed to open more. "Luna, I would need you to pull Stratus out. I can angle the stick to make the jaws open up more", she requested of her leader. The stick may look sturdy, but it can still snap at any random moment. Stratus needs to be out of this at any first chance. |

Luna~ Luna nodded to Harmony and grabbed Stratus's scruff. "You better be quick with lifting" she told Harmony before she spoke again. "Stratus, once that's lifted and I pull, tuck your leg into get it away from the trap, and make sure your tail doesnt get caught either" she added. She nodded to Harmony as she was ready for the other female to open the trap. |

Chase-Fighter . "Yarrow, she has been through alot, but maybe choosing a mate would cheer her up. Other couples in the pack could have pups, and think, everyone would be happy with little pups running around." He sighed. "And maybe everything could go back to the way it used to be." With a reassuring glance at Yarrow he started sniffing a nearby bush. Maybe everything could go back to the way it used to be. |

Lily | F | Fighter | M: Hondo Lily turned to where Hondo was before walking over. She sniffed the bush before flattening her ears. "I'm not sure what that is. If they masked their scent, I'm not sure what they would smell like. Did you catch the scent beforehand?" Lily said, looking over at Hondo. If he had caught the scent before, perhaps he could compare it but she wasn't much help right now unless the loner burst out of the bushes. Which if he set a trap, she doubted it. |

Stratus (mentions Harmony, Luna and Leaf) / Stratus nodded nervously, his hopes now soaring. He can get out of this! He saw how Harmony steadied herself, and his adrenaline spiked when she twisted the stick sideways. He yelped involuntarily as a renewed pain coursed through his front leg. He felt himself getting dragged away from the trap, his mind temporarily numbed by the pain. It was only when he saw the bloody, empty trap in front of him that he allowed to release a sigh of relief. He got out! He looked at his paw. Oh, now that was a bloody mess. Poor Leaf. He started to lick his leg, in hopes to stop the blood as much as he can. ((sorry for a bit of godmodding there, but may as well get over the single action)) // Harmony (mentions Stratus and Luna) / Harmony nudged Stratus with her nose. "Would you be able to walk towards the camp?", she asked him gently, glancing at his leg. It looked horrible, but it should heal. "I'll try my best", Stratus replied, standing up now. He tested his paw, wincing. "I can limp at least", he muttered. "Very well, let's be off now", Harmony said, glancing at Luna for permission to go. Let's just hope no loners will attack us on our way, she thought to herself gravely. // Yarrow (Chase, Fang, Luna) / "Hopefully, hopefully", Yarrow sighed, also sniffing around more. Now matter how positive he could stay on this: he has a feeling it would take quite a long time for anything to come back to normal. Luna is doing a tremendous job of giving them something to do. But.... they have lost so much. Yarrow lost many of his good friends. He even lost a potential mate. Meanwhile Luna lost more personal losses: her own mother. Yarrow doesn't feel capable of seeking for a mate as of now - so he couldn't imagine Luna finding anyone after such harsh times. Yarrow shook his reddish-brown fur. Time to think of something else. "I think we are getting close to our border, anyone smelled anything so far? I believe we will be encountering no loners today", he announced. // Oak (mentions Lillith, Aush and Sky) / Just as Oak was about to lose hope, a familiar mouth-watering smell of rabbit wafted into his nose. Finally! Some kind of prey! "I smell rabbit!", he called out, smiling, "To the west. Unless anyone smells anything better, I suggest we make a beeline to the rabbits". He twisted his head to his packmates, waiting for their response. |

He didnt recognize it and didn't know what it was. "We'll tell Luna later." He said. "She doing to much right now to care about an unfamiliar scent." |

He tilted his head as he saw how nervous she was before saying gently, "They can be a bit dangerous if you don't know how to act around them. You need to look for the certain ones who don't have those sticks. The ones without them are the harmless ones." He flicked an ear, watching her. He hadn't had much experience with the hunters other than the word run. Although, the dogs were quite fun to play with. |
