☾ Tatsuya Iseul-Fraener Montcrioux ☾
Hypnosis Vampire | Archduke | 698 | Male | Mentions : Brosc, Other Vampires (ind.)

Anyone who knew the male vampire knew that he was a rather well composed man — in his words, actions, and dress. He always had a smile on his face even when he didn't want to, he was rather elegant to be frank. However — right now he didn't feel as such, he felt as if his nerves were on fire and he'd faint soon. His nerves were getting the best of him, though many didn't know this - he was a rather socially anxious creature and he wasn't looking forward to this large crowd. Especially since not everyone liked each other and possibly would'nt play nice. A low mumble of annoyance could be heard from him — the sound of his heels clacking against the marble ballroom floor could be heard through the piercing silence. Click.Clack.Click.Click.Clack. He could possibly burn a hole in the floor with how fast he was pacing around. This was him actually showing nerves rather than keeping it in. And he was okay to do it in front of his preferred harem member — Brosc Sloan. The guy was probably lurking around somewhere , but he knew that the man would listen to his rant.

" This is positively nerve-wracking." He hissed in annoyance, " I don't even know how the others are going to react to the new Queen. By the moon, this will be an tense meeting — oh gods, what if they hate each other that they start a blood bath. No, no, no - they aren't fledglings, they're fully grown vampires and wouldn't do such a thing especially on such an occasion and in front of the Royal Consort." He paused momentarily to take a breath and place his hands on his face in deep thought. He then resumed his pacing, the pants he wore accentuated his rather shapely waistline and as he paced around, his hips slightly swayed— he was thinking it sounds like he was talking it out loud but some might mistake it for raving, " Oh I know some are just going to hate the Queen. Especially since she was formerly a human, our enemies. This doesn't bode well. Conflict could start again, goddamnit—— " and he paused with agitation as he began running his hands through his hair in agitation, he really was at his limit — the man who rarely cursed had uttered a curse due to his stress.

" Gods, the rearranging of roles and positions is going to be a nightmare, not to mention the vacuum of power within the High-Harem , someone could get greedy. Not to mention other vampires could get ambitions and try and start their own things because of the lack of a proper ruler. Why couldn't Isolabella have been the one to take the crown — she's the obvious logical choice, she was the Queen's first and only love and the woman who she founded the Kingdom with. Now those keys have been given to a novice. " he was really panicking now, imagining the worse case senarios, " oh this is bad. Anarchy, could ensue. Asassination of another Queen ,this one being worse than a fledgeling. Why did we have to be cursed like this? What if she offends the vampires? What if her morale and happiness isn't there for the Kingdom. She'll bring us to ruin!" He could feel himself speeding up as he got more worrisome about what would be happening. " Oh dear moon and stars above, I'm going to go insane." And he let out a chuckle between a mix of nervous and unhinged — and a rather exasperated sigh left him as he began massaging his temples in attempts to sooth his nerves, the silver hand jewelry being cool to touch against his face.

He was rather on edge — if one knew him well, they would realize that he probably hasn't had a good nights rest in a while. Or the fact that he hadn't consumed any blood in while as well, it was why his usually brighter violet eyes were nearing a darker amethyst color. His mood was also shifting a bit as well — he has become more snappish and grouchier due to the lack of blood and definitely lack of sleep, he could manage to keep a cordial manner but one should be careful around him because he definitely more feistier - and more likely to curse someone out. And right now he was annoyed and frustrated, someone was about to be a target of this - and Brosc was his victim. He turned around and placed his hands on his hips — he was scowling at the male, why? Nothing really . . . except that he was standing there, doing absolutely nothing. And just watching him, and this annoyed him a bit. What the hell was he just watching him for?

He rather heatedly walked over to the man who was leaning against the wall. And Tatsuya was leaning forward with his hands on his hips as he began talking to the male, "Why are you just standing there doing nothing and watching me? It's rather annoying." He hissed out in a tone conveying annoyance as he send the man a glare, " You standing there with your stupid, pretty face." He grumbled under his breath before looking at the man. And his eyes went to his neck, it was in his line of sight — so tempting to just bite and take blood from. He stared for a moment, possibly in a bit of a daze before realizing what he had done, " Why did you even come and find me anyways." He said with annoyance and snarkiness in his tone as he got closer to the male, his eyes narrowing a bit.

" What's so special about me that you aren't even with your own class?" He said rather testily. His face growing closer to his.

Jayco | ? | M | Harem | Shifter

Mentions: Suya and Brosc (ind.), and Mauve (dir.)

A simple toss in the bed with an annoyed groan disrupted the silence. Various eyes watch the figure in the bed-staring at them with hunger in their eyes. Even though the eyes bear starvation, they patiently waited for whoever was in the bed command. One final grunt and the person in the bed sits up. Ireland's green eyes gazed ahead, still holding tiredness and annoyance. His eyes shuffle down to the spot beside him, seeming to check something or someone out occupying that side. He shook the person beside him, but when they didn't move, he huffed, "Still sleeping, eh?" He grins, yet said smirk falters when he moves the covers.

"Well, damn. You're not asleep." His finger poked the body's cheek, staring at it for a bit. He drained this person of their blood the night before, which means he's been sleeping beside a corpse. Jayco's attention went to the hungry eyes, "That's why all of you are here. Here I thought all of you decided to visit your father. Heh," he chuckles and climbs out of bed, "how wrong I was." He snaps his fingers, and the hungry carnivores leap onto the bed to have a feast. Picking up his clothes off the floor and changes into them. He walked out of the room only to come face-to-face with his work.

"By the Blue Moon! What happened here!?!" Striding past the bodies on the floor, going over to a crooked painting. He fixes it up, a sigh of relief leaving him, "That's better. Does no one know how to clean up after themselves?" His head moves from side to side, showing his disappointment. Jayco heads to the corpse perched against the wall, his eyes locking on them, "You! Clean up this mess! What are we, a bunch of animals?" Scoffing, Jayco left the hallways to head to the main doors. Not long after, his pets (self-proclaimed children) followed after him licking their muzzles clean. Adjusting his clothing, the vampire peeks over his shoulder to gaze at his canine army, "Go hunt. For animals, this time. Humans aren't on the menu for tonight." Turning away, he shudders. "I believe that I already had enough of them. As usual, take your share." Nonchalantly wavering his hand to dismiss his children, they did so obediently. Jayco watches them wander in different directions before a smaller animal introduces itself to him.

It has large ears, beady black eyes, a cute nose, and wings.

It's a- "An adorable vampire bat." Jayco held a singular hand in the direction of the bat while walking away from the house in the woods. The bat hangs upside down on his pointer finger. I'm sure you didn't expect Jayco to call something adorable; he does, but only when it comes to animals. With this bat, he felt an instant connection with it. "You have news for me, ye' fluffy thing?" The bat squeaks in response, outstretching its wings in confirmation. He grins, showing his animalish fangs. He listens to the bat's squeaks while humming a random tune. After hearing a bit more, his hum stops, and his face drops. "Suya is hosting a meeting at that raggedy place!?! Can't they pick someplace better? That castle is close to falling apart. I'll be damned if I rescue someone from the rubble." Yes, Jayco wouldn't save anyone if that place were to fall apart, well, there's Suya, but he has other people to help him with that. He's pretty sure that Suya doesn't need him any longer.

He groans, "I hate socializing. Worse," he tosses his hand to help the bat take off, "I hate parties. Nothing good ever happens at parties." He already knew that this meeting involved politics and who said what. It's going to be a snooze fest, which means he needs to find a suitable headrest during it all. Jayco pauses in his steps, "Wait a minute." He rushes back inside the house to head back into the bedroom where he was resting before. Ignoring everything and only set on one thing: a pillow. He snatches that, glaring at the now skeleton like it said something offensive to him. "Get your own damn pillow, you freeloader!" Hissing at the pile of bones before leaving the room, not seeming to care about the bloodstains on the pillow. What he cared about was that thing touching what was his without permission.

His eyes met the body he ordered before he left for the first time. There's a scowl on his face, shaking his head once more. "I was gone for a few minutes, and this place still isn't clean? Bunch of lazy sods." With that being his final words, Jayco departs to head to the castle to attend the meeting.

━━━━━━━༺༻━━━━━━━

The man and his hounds have arrived at the castle. He was tired of it all already, and he was looking at it. Over his shoulders was a large bear he hunted himself, and each mouth of his six hounds was prey within the medium range. Jayco didn't enter the castle at the moment but changed course to the overgrown gardens to feed the other Shifters that either arrived or hadn't arrived just yet. He wasn't doing it out of the kindest of his heart and treating it more like disposal. Much as he enjoys watching chaos reign, it wouldn't be fun if Suya was to suffer since he had to handle all of this. Jayco kept the bear while his hounds dropped the food off in the garden in a messy pile. With a high pitch whistle, his dog's eyes were on him, "Patrol the area. Any intruders need to get taken care of before they cause havoc. Blood-Gifters are left alone unless I tire seeing their faces." With a simple snap, his hounds stalk off into random directions of the woods.

Jayco went inside the castle finally and made his way down the halls to check out who was there. Greeting his nose was the scent of Suya, and he was close to going over to him, but the smell of Bosc made him stop in his tracks. A growl of envy rumbles in his throat, and his feet guide him to the ballroom to meet a face he's all too familiar with. Mauve. The woman's beauty held no bounds, and they both know that. The two of them have their fun here and there, but it never escalates to romance.

Jayco kicks open the ballroom door and glares at the Hypnosis Class to stay away. He's not in the mood to speak to no one, except for Mauve. With the bear over his shoulders, Jayco approaches the blonde woman, and a smirk hides behind his mask. "Mauve, your beauty always blesses me each time we meet." For once, his voice sounds genuine, well, if you were to ignore the passion in his voice. "It's been a while since we last met." Adjusting the bear on his shoulders, using his one hand to remove his mask from his head to show his face to her.

🍷- Mauve SinClair -🍷

High Lady|F, Born Vampire|500-600|Hypnosis|M: Suya,Jayco(direct)

The sound of last nights flings chamber door clicking shut sounded down the echoing castle hall. Dust raining down gently as the vampires new castle was not in the best condition. Mauve wiped the bothersome dust from her black gown. Careful her long sharp nails didn't snag on the fabric. The click of her shoes muffled by the wind roaring outside one of the windows nearby. The winter chill ever present on this night. Visible through the shattered windows, bits of stained glass upon the rubble. The moons light casted in sending the diamond jewlery crisscrossed on her body sparkling.

Mauve had claimed herself a warm body to stay with last night after arriving to the castle. He was one of the lower lords she didn't even know his name. He was decent but not her usual type. She had only wanted a little distraction and a bed to sleep in before the event that where about to unfold. She could sense the thick unease running though the many stone halls of the castle.

Since the death of the late Queen, the court has been full of rampant emotions. Some more overwhelming to her than others.
One of such high emotional tethers she sensed as she made her way down the halls. Following that string of emotion she soon opened the doors into the ballroom. Mauve had found that the ballroom and the library so far seemed to be where her fellow Hypnosis clan congregated. So she wasnt surprised to find she was correct at her guess of who was inside. The Head of the archdukes coming into view. Lord Tatsuya Montcrioux; or The Dragon Duke as he was so called. Noting he was visably pacing and rightly so with the energy quickly filling the castle as others arrived. He was occupied with Bosc currently. Her large red eyes scanned the room seeing some of the other hypnosis court had found spots around the large room.

The firelight from the torches sent her eyes flashing solid like a predator as she moved. Selecting a glass that was offered from a tray that one of the unclaimed blood gifters held. Glancing her up and down hungrily but refrained from taking straight from the source. Her nails tinkling on the glass as she raised the Ruby liquid to her garnet painted lips. The humans hand shook holding the tray sensing Mauves eyes on her. The girl was braver than she looked as she met Mauves gaze. Braver but stupid. Her power locked in and she spoke "Go on leave me be pet". Her sultry voice spoke softly and the human immediately as if her feet were not her own turned and made her way towards the others in the room.

A smile found her face in bored amusement soon followed by curiosity as the ballroom doors slammed open. A familiar scent of the forest and death rolled in. Jayco. The Shifter glared towards the others in the room and made his way towards her. Flaming red hair laying where it wanted after coming in from the wilds no doubt. Stopping and greeting her with his usually level of charisma "Mauve, your beauty always blesses me each time we meet."

Rolling her eyes she smiled. Out of the many court members Jayco was one of the few she would consider a friend. He was a wild card and wild cards you could trust to be a wild card. Not stab you in the back like many courtiers would gladly do especially in a time like this. "Evening Hound, I can smell the bodies from here why was I not invited to the fun." the hound of death nickname she had always found terribly dramatic; and based on the massive bear on his shoulders he wasn't holding back the dramatics. "Did you fight this beast as a bear yourself?" She was honestly curious she found the shifter class fascinating and in another life Mauve would have gladly been proud to be one. Sipping from her glass at the wild freedom thought of it.

Isolabella Hesperia-Gwendoline Bǫlverkr
Shifter Class Vampire | The Royal Consort | 838 | Female | Mentions: Umbria, Zelphya, Other Vampires (ind.)

The female vampire had been sitting in the gardens alone. Collecting her thoughts - how would she tell the people about the new Queen. Or the fact she was previously human. This could cause discent and anarchy. She sighed to herself as she looked at her hands, a simple red tulip in them. And she touched the petals softly with a tender fondness. Her love had always called her her everblooming tulip , and this was the only source of comfort she could be brought at this moment. And she sighed as she stood up, her darkly jeweled earrings making soft noises as she rose and began to walk to where the new 'queen' was. There was a sort of bitterness in her towards Zelphyra but she'd never admit it or act on it. And so she soon found herself near the entrance of the meeting room, and that's when she heard the rather heated conversation between the Justicar, Umbria and Zelphyra. It was a rather justified argument from Umbria but not at the right time. And she had to hold back an angry hiss when the insolent human said she'd rather be a musician. She so she strode in with the grace and elegance a proper Queen or regent should have. Not caring that she wore a crown - the one her wife has handmade for her. She may be a Royal Consort , but she was the Queen's wife and she had much say and gave much help in ruling with Vivienne.

Her eyes narrowed, unimpressed by the Blue-Moon Vampire before her saying, " I would advise you to never say such words in front of your subjects - it's rude and insensitive. Not to mention this poor location you chose for the meeting. We have much nicer castles you know. It was a poor choice, it makes it seem as if our Kingdom is crumbling much like this castle." She said sternly and without pity. This woman would need to learn fast how to become a proper Queen. And she needed to learn rather quickly, no matter how harsh her tone was delivered " And never speak ill of my wife again. I didn't spent nearly 800 years helping her build a kingdom from scratch - fighting insurgents, jealous enemies, and spend time saving others from the pits of despair - just for it to be ruled by someone that doesn't care. You would be wise to do your research on the shoes you have to fill because they are massive - and though Umbria is wrong for speaking so callously she is correct. If you aren't into being a Queen, whether or not it was by choice, then what were you training for as a second ranked princess? Should you not be trained to lead in case the heir isn't there anymore."

She wasn't letting up as she continued, " Not to mention the colors you're wearing would be offensive to your kind. They are mourning and in shock at the death of their marvelous regent, and yet here you are - wearing blue when most will be wearing black. And if you think that just because you're a future ruler and 'chosen' by the Moon , that they'll accept you then you're wrong. They respect someone who is grounded and ready to take charge, not someone who's unwilling or has reservations about their role."

She sighed with a tiredness saying, "And besides you're not fully recognized as Blue-Moon Queen, yet. You're basically a fledgling compared to all of us - and you have no teaching in vampire culture or etiquette. That's why I am ruling regent with Tatsuya by my side, and the other Archduke and Archduchesses - as part of Vampire Law, if the Queen is absent or not fit to rule we take charge until she is able to do so or until a new Queen is installed. We are also the determining factor if you will even be our ruler. After all a Kingdom can't have a weak Queen, and I am looking out for the best interest of my Kingdom. So tonight I expect you to watch, learn, and observe your subjects and you tell me what you observed later on."

She then turned to Umbria saying, " And you. You should know better than her, your loyalties lie to protect your Queen. Even if she can be a bit much at times. You were Vivienne's personal guard so you would know this and have much experience in doing this. So please, at least for my sake if not anything - keep the peace. "

She sighed as she massaged her temples and took her place besides the Justicar. Her golden eyes were a bit dull - possibly due to a lack of sleep and feeding. The woman had never fed on anyone but her beloved and now she was gone, and she felt it to be cheating to feed off someone else.

Davorin Merle-Jorin Renwick
Soul Class Vampire | High Lord | 348 | Mentions : Open, NPC Spirits

The young man groaned as he woke up. He wasn't at his best today and he slowly rose from his bed. As he walked to his restroom he held his head in annoyance. He had had one of those nightmares. Fangs, they were fucking annoying. And as he looked at himself in the vanity he felt himself sighing out of annoyance. He looked like hell to be modest. His hair was messy and out of place and not to mention the darker bags under his eyes from his recent lack of sleep. He wordlessly moved around his bathroom and drew himself a bath and cleaned himself up and prepared for the meeting. He wondered what it would be like and hoped that it wasn't just more bad news. After bathing and cleaning his face - he went to his room and put on his chosen outfit for the meeting. A sharp black dress-suit with tall shoes and then his hand jewelry and finally the red and black makeup to bring a pop to his bright blue eyes. Once he was ready he grabbed a black cape - it was quite chilly outside, he figured they should be getting some snow soon.

He soon made his way to the castle. He wondered what the other classes and other vampires were like. But today, though interested in finding out about the other classes , wasn't in the mood to associate with others. So hopefully no one would decide to annoy him today. As he entered the castle he immediately noticed the many spirits residing within his, them being in different colors and varying size and appearances. It was quite unsettling, just exactly how many others had died in this castle or were bound to it ? He could hear the whispers among them as he watched them. It must've been a long time since they've seen a Soul Vampire. He then felt a little tug of his pants leg, and it was the face of a little girl he was met with. And judging by the paler skin and sharper eyes - she was a vampire child. This poor little soul. And so he grew soft and patted her head, earning a soft giggle from the child which caused him to smile a bit. His mood was being slightly lifted by her.

" What can I help you with, little one? " he spoke to the spirit. To the outside it would look like he's insane and talking and touching air but he wasn't and he didn't care if he looked odd doing what he did.

"Follow me." came the simple reply as she turned off and began running, with a giggle. Her little pointed fangs showing in amusement.
"Wait, slow down-" he called after her, and so he began chasing after her, he noticed she was taking him towards the catacombs - and he could feel his power begin to rise within him. Was there something interesting down here? After all the child thought it was interesting enough.

However, he was distracted when a cat was walking down the hall. And the male knelt down and scooped up the cat. It was so cute and fluffy, the brown fur has beautiful waves and curls. And he held the car gently and began scratching a bit behind it's ears. It wasn't a secret that he had a soft spot for animals. And he gave a small smile to the little cat before putting it down. He gently twirled the fur at the base of its tail with his finger and gave a soft giggle before standing back up to follow the spirit.

"By kitty~" he said with a sweet voice after giving it one last pat.

"Where are you taking me mysterious spirit girl." He said to the little child spirit that he was following.

Ava Cadieux

⸻⸻・⸻・⸻⸻
Female || Estimated Age { 300s } || Shifter Class || Harem
M:
Open, Vampires { ind. }
⸻⸻・⸻・⸻⸻

"But.. Ava.. I love y-"

Whirling around, a hand was swinging outward, and just mere moments later a loud "slap" echoed within the room, a series of clattering glasses and body thump following. Reaching downward, the same hand grabbed a woman by the neck, aggressively pulling her forward, wrapping around her narrow throat tightly. Inches away from the woman's face, another woman stood, a wicked, malicious smile plastered to her face.

"Oh? Do you now?"

Cackling, Ava shoved the woman back against the wall, releasing her grip on the poor thing's neck, pulling her hand back. Looking down at the pathetic excuse of a human, she shook her head, chuckling. "Honestly, you don't really feel that way about me, do you?" Watching, and waiting as the girl didn't reply, nor look away from Ava's gaze, her smile slowly faded away. With a swift movement, the vampire swooped down, shoving her hand beside the girl's head, cracking the wall behind her. "You do.. don't you? Oh. You sweet child." Using her other hand to scoop the human's chin into her palm, she scoffed, watching as the girl rubbed her cheek into Ava's palm. Pulling away with a disgusted expression, Ava stood up, rolling her eyes. "Get out of here."

"But- Ava-"

"Now."

Are humans deaf, or simply idiotic? She stood up, but she didn't walk or even attempt to run away. She stood there, staring at Ava. It looked as if she wanted to ask her something, something she'd been dying to ask her.. realizing this, Ava shook her head, "Out with i-"

"Turn me."

"Turn?"

"Yes. I want to be a vampire."

Ava stood speechless for a moment, staring at the smaller woman with a surprised look. As the girl repeated herself again, the Harem could barely hold her laughter in, and shortly after, she began laughing her ass off. "Pfff! You, want to be a vampire? Ha!" It was pure, genuine laugher, and the girl had utter horror and fear in her eyes, as if she were terrified of her reaction. What did she expect? Ava to be bouncing in joy knowing her little toy wanted to be just like her? What kind of human was this? One of a stupid breed, that was absolutely for sure. Sigh, these humans don't know what they have, nor do they appreciate it. And they want to give it away by turning into a Vampire. Poor, unfortunate souls.

Glancing towards the girl for a moment, she could see her eyes beginning to water up, and Ava shook her head. Tsk, tsk.

With a more pleasing, and kind tone, she began to walk towards the girl. "Oh darling.. I didn't mean to upset you~" and as she neared, with little movement, Ava appeared behind the woman, resting her chin on the shorter woman, stroking her hair gently. Speaking in a quiet, innocent voice, Ava began to whisper. "I could get into a lot of trouble turning you, y'know.. if they found out, they would certainly kill me.. do you want me dead?"

Shaking her head, the woman exclaimed, "No! No, no! I would never wish death upon you." Ava smirked, and began to slowly wrap her hands around the humans shoulder, and whispered quietly, "That's honestly surprising.. it would have been wise of you too."

As if the girl knew what was next, she tried to get away from Ava's grasp, but she was too slow and Ava had wrapped her hands around the girl's neck.

CRACK

"Worthless shit."

Brushing herself off, the vampire stood, staring down at the lifeless human. Licking her lips, she realized something, and sighed dramatically. "Oh.. I could have gotten another feeding out of her, oh well." That was also when she realized she needed to be somewhere else at the moment. A very, important meeting. "Ah, fuck."

⸻⸻・⸻・⸻⸻

Arriving at the castle, Ava had made her way into the building, observing her surroundings.. or what was left of them. This castle looked like utter shit, honestly. As she entered into a specific room, she found herself entering into a room full of Vampires, each group grouping up with the same class. Ugh.

Avoiding conversation with anyone, the woman made her way toward an untouched wall, and she leaned against it, waiting for this to get done and over with.

Mentions: Isolabella (dir.) and other vampires (ind.)

After her scolding, Zylpha kept her mouth shut and never bothered to respond to what the consort said. Umbria was thrilled by her wif-er, liege's response. Not seeming to take the woman's threats seriously-she was enamored by it. She turns her back from the two, a cheeky smile on her face, and high-fives herself mentally. She picked the right woman to be her wife. From what she believes, it was fate for the two of them to meet. It was most certainly love at first sight, which makes others think she's cheesy for it. Umbria clears her throat, calming herself down before talking, "You're right, my lady. I let her words get the better of me." Offering her an apologetic bow before fixing her straightened posture. Her face was now serious, yet with a mischievous spark in her eyes. When Zylpha was the first to leave the room, Umbria approached her, "You should've let me toy with her more. I think I managed to annoy the Ice Queen," she chuckled, but seeing the consort's tired face made her fill with worry. "My lady, is everything alright?" Even though she was in a different body, her heart still longed for her dearly beloved Bella. Umbria remembered something: Bella only fed off Vivienne while they were together. She bit her lip, and the woman's body tensed.

Everything felt wrong, but at the same time, Umbria was curious about what her new life would be. She gently strokes Bella's right cheek with the back of her hand, something Vivienne would do to comfort her anxious wife. "If I may, I'll bring out the freshest blood wine from the cellar to quench your thirst." Offering her a reassuring smile before pulling her hand away from her cheek, staring into those beautiful golden eyes she was memorized by for centuries. By the Blue Moon, she didn't expect her death to bring misery to everyone she knew. Let alone her poor Isolabella. Her wife is stressed and steadily weakening herself. She's unaware of how Suya's doing. Maybe he's exhausting himself again-the foolish man always puts work before his health. She has to find Suya and check on him to see if he's doing alright. Better yet, check on everyone to ensure they're okay.

Not to mention stopping Jayco from trying to murder everybody here.

So many possibilities she can do with her new body. So many people she can spy on and see who betrayed her. Suya and Bella were out of the picture. Jayco is too loyal to do something like that-let alone gullible to pull off such a feat. Thinking about it hurts her head after her screaming fit with Zylpha. That little dispute reminded her of their adopted daughter. Wait. They have a daughter. That's when dread swept her up like a tidal wave. What about their child? What's become her precious angel (not really, she can be a bitch) of a daughter? She'll ask Bella later, as the poor woman's heart is hurting enough. Shattered over the loss of someone dear to her, which is:

Her, not her, but her.

Damn, that's mad confusing.

"Now, shall we catch up to the fledgling queen before she gets herself into trouble? Worse," her face soured, "runs into Jayco?" It was odd talking to Bella casually while in this body. Before she became Umbria, each sentence would be interrupted with signs of affection. It felt wrong, but it's something she has to get used to while in this body. That's until they realize who she is, and Bella gives her the scolding of her life for tricking her. If that were to happen, Bella would punish her with something even worse: the wifely scolding. Everyone is oblivious to Bella's true rage, especially when Vivienne (with the help of Jayco) gets on her nerves many times.

So, the Justicar chases after the new queen, only to not find her anywhere. "Well, shit. I'm beyond fired." She muttered under her breath, her walking pace increasing and desperately looking around for the new queen. She spotted Zylpha staring at the portrait of a small family. Umbria caught what was on there made Umbria's heart stung with guilt.

It was a family portrait of familiar faces, her little family:

Vivienne grinning like mad, Isolabella was regal as always, and Suya's stoic face. Funnily enough, the painter that made that painting served as the next course for both her and Suya, Bella drinking her blood right afterward. She approaches the photo with the three ageless and youthful. They may have different expressions, but the love between them was indescribable. She turns to see Zylpha's emotions, and her brows rise when she notices the sadness in the eyes of blue that used to be hers. Now it got her wondering what her family life was like before she came here. Details about Zylpha were left undiscovered.

Linnet Finch | 23 | Female | Lesbian Mono | Childe

M: Skya (Ind)

Humming to herself, Linnet waltzed around the wooden floors of Linnet and her sire’s apartment to carefully water the plants that blossomed from their pots and dangled down off the ceiling and shelves. Even with the sharp, cold winds outside and frost that laced the porch like a rock covered in white moss, the plants could grow in vibrant greens in their apartment which brightened up their room. Not only were the flowers blooming in reds, oranges, and yellows while spider plants sprouted and a corn plant concealed the ceiling lights with its leaves, but the pots that held the plants were just as… special. The pots were handmade, with paint and carvings made into them by none other than Linnet. They looked pretty bad and almost like a child could have done better, but she was still proud since she had never worked with clay until she made those pots for her plants. She even colored the pots to know when to water them. Purple potted plants were to be watered once a week, blues were every other day or every few days, and green was once a day. It was not a perfect system but it was one of the few things that helped Linnet remember what day of the week it was.

Despite the room being much more crowded than usual with all the plants crammed in so they could avoid the harshness of the cold, Linnet danced around the room carefully and moved freely despite the limited space, each step landing on the ground like a graceful feather as music that flew out of the gramophone played harmoniously to her steps. The record was one of her favorites. Even the sleeve that held the record, which she still was holding in her hand as she watered the succulents and cacti by her text, was bright and vibrant like the music with warm yellows and smooth purples and every color in between in an image of distorted yet dazzling sunset.

Sighing, Linnet placed the metal watering can down with a smile on her face. The song slowly came to an end and Linnet collapsed into the chair by her desk, carefully adjusting the framed image of her sire, Skya, on her desk so she could see the photo better. Adjusting the horn to face her and gently lifting the tone arm, Linnet carefully slid the record into its sleeve as she opened the drawer of her desk with the messily arranged record sleeves and grabbed a new record. Placing the new record on, she took a deep breath and grabbed her mechanical white bird. Opening the chest plate and its silver beak with a tiny button, it revealed not only the radio but the microphone that Linnet used in her show. Linnet glanced at her clock as she wound up the small handle on the side of the gramophone and the music began to play.

3… 2… 1… Showtime!~

“Hello, hello my little birdies and welcome back to yet another day in our great Vampiric kingdom!~” Linnet chirped into the microphone of the mechanical bird as leaned back in her chair, adjusting her tie as if people were there to watch her despite her mellifluous voice being the only things her listeners receive. “Except it’s not all that great, is it? After the death of our queen, the country has been in shambles, the economy has declined, conspiracies are spreading like wildfire, and many—” Linnet gave a dramatic pause— “are more than displeased with the new Queen.” Giving an even more dramatic pause, Linnet waved her hand in a circle in the air to find her words as she leaned her other arm on her desk. “Though people are afraid to openly say it, tabloids and newspapers are anonymously publishing their outright hatred for the Queen.” Linnet chuckled and lowered her voice. “I would hate to be in her shoes right now.” Linnet leaned back in her chair and swirled her pen around her fingers like a grand marshal of a parade twirling her baton. “But does she deserve this hate? Myyyyy expert panel of vampires and blood-gifters— from our retired General, Victor Wilhelmina III, to our current International Relations Improvement Activist as well as our Secretary of State, Dr. Helena Quinsy Casper— will be discussing this question later today, but first I am being joined by—” Linnet did her best to suppress a groan as she spat out the woman’s name— “Lenore.”

“Hiiii and thank you Linnet; always such a pleasure to be here!” Lenore buzzed on from another radio with an overly excitable and bubbly tone that Linnet could only roll her eyes at. It was so handy to be able to record the radio broadcast from separate locations, but by the moon what Linnet would give so that Lenore and her prissy little ass could not be on the radio. Even just hearing her voice was degrading.

“No, the pleasure’s all—”

“So, as you all are most definitely aware—”

Did this bitch seriously interrupt me?

“—with the high tensions between humans and vampires, vampires with recently turned childes or renting out blood-gifters should expect to see some changes. Childes will probably be more feisty and argumentative than normal so make sure you keep them in check and remember who’s in charge.” Her tone was so bright and captivating despite her words that belittled and mocked recently turned humans. Linnet’s whole body was twitching with rage as she suppressed the urge to find Lenore and slit her throat. “Blood-gifters will also be charging extra people! Save up your money because they are forming unions— you heard that right folks, unions! This will all probably die down in a few days since we all know how scatterbrained those warm bloodies are, but just in case, try bringing them to a Hypnosis vampire to get them to be much more willing to cooperate and charge much much less.” Linnet could just imagine the wicked smirk on her face as she said something that was clearly a breach of privacy and absolutely awful.

I will skin this xenophobic fuckhead alive.

“Also the stock for weaponry has gone up and the—”

“Oh I am so sorry to cut you off there, Lenore,” Linnet interrupted with great sarcasm and growing anger leaking through the cracks and spaces of her words, “but we have to cut to our song break!” Before Lenore could respond, Linnet made sure to press a button on the sides of the metallic bird’s head to cut her from the radio.

Take that bitch.

“Now remember,” Linnet clapped her hands together as her tone became much more serious, “to all my childe and blood-gifter fans,” Linnet paused, “you are loved, you are appreciated, and you deserve to be happy. If you feel unsafe in your home or if you feel at risk in the streets, there is a shelter— Niamj’s Safe Home— that accepts any and all people who need a place to stay or help away from an abuser or an attacker. We are going on a brief break, so here are some lovely toons for your morning!~”

Bosc Sloan | 675ish | Male | Bisexual Poly | Harem

M: Suya + Jayco (Dep) Mauve + Garvin (Ind)

Suya has this voice that beckons for you to listen. Not only does it charm you so easily but it has you wrapped up in an inescapable web of bliss. Even when he was overwhelmed with stress and his voice was nothing but harsh, hushed whispers, Bosc held onto every word he said, nodding and trying to understand Suya’s worries and problems. Even if he was generally just ranting— never thinking about the words that flowed from his mouth— Bosc always listened because if no one else would, Bosc would because someone had to. The man had so many opinions and vices that it was impossible not to listen and attempt to support him. Although, after listening to his words and letting Suya’s anger run its course, it would always be Bosc who ended up needing to calm him down. Suya’s voice sounded as smooth as butter and as sweet as honey after whatever Bosc did and it was such an amazing sound.

Watching Suya pace back and forth and back and forth with an amused expression, Bosc listened to his words like he always did. Bosc leaned on the ivory colored walls of the ballroom with his arms folded and a small smirk on his face. Back and forth and back and forth. Suya tended to walk so forward and so intensely with his lips flowing freely with words and his violet eyes narrowed with frustration. Back and forth and back and forth. Suya’s quiet words would suddenly grow intense with worry and anxiety before slowly drifting back into nothing more than nonsensical ramblings of an overworked and exhausted vampire who deserved so much better. Back and forth and back and forth and back and… It was dizzying to watch the man so Bosc had to briefly glance away despite still taking in every sentence he spoke, looking around the nearly empty ballroom with nothing but Suya, Mauve, and himself.

The space seemed prepared to hold a great volume of people and words echoed throughout the dome. Bosc could imagine grand parties being held here, but those parties were always so boring. The kinds where everyone must act accordingly, acting like their shoes are metal shards they must use as they navigate around eggshells and explosives. Sipping their champagne and dining with thin-lipped smiles and sealed lips, there was no drama, no fun, only whatever the bare-minimum of conversation was. It was just so boring. The only fun part about those kinds of parties was whenever Bosc was able to embarrass and fluster others, teasing them to the point where even the undead vampires would feel heat come to their face. Their eyes were always the most amusing part. The look of pure, unfiltered shock, embarrassment, or confusion was priceless. This was true for Suya especially as he would often be a victim of Bosc’s flirting who was seemingly unafraid to talk so boldly even in the company of many others.

Bosc glanced back to Suya and watched as his loud heels stopped clicking against the floor and he came to a stop, spinning on a dime to glare at Bosc. Intense, purple eyes stared at Bosc with a feisty anger that Bosc could not help but smile at. Bosc did not move nor flinch as Suya’s heels stomped— click clack click clack— against the white floors, the sound only amplified by the ballroom before stopping suddenly as Suya stood just a few inches from Bosc. Bosc turned briefly away from Suya as a low chuckle left his lips from Suya’s words.

“Am I not allowed to enjoy the view, dollface?~” Bosc replied smoothly to his first inquiry, taking the time to look Suya up and down to emphasize his point. “Those clothes do great wonders for you, Princess, but I would much rather the view if you were without them…~” Bosc watched Suya leering at his neck, practically drooling over his exposed skin which Bosc only decided to make it worse for Suya by tugging at the suit he wore to reveal more of his skin which already exposed some of his chest because of how he nearly had it nearly half-way unbuttoned. Bosc only chuckled as Suya tried to smoothly continue the conversation, stepping confidently closer as if he was not just watching Bosc like a piece of juicy meat. Bosc did not even need to briefly think of whatever he would say because the question was such an easy one.

“Well, would you like a list of all the things that make you so much more special than everyone else or just a summary?” Bosc asked with a smirk as he tilted his head in amusement, leaning closer to Suya so that their lips were teasingly and insatiably close. “You are so much more special than all of those in my class combined and so much more appealing to the eyes.” Bosc placed his hands on Suya’s waist and slowly slid them down to his hips, pulling Suya’s body closer to his own. “Plus, knowing you, you are getting far too worked up over a silly matter that you can address much easier when you are more level headed.” Bosc gently cupped the side of Suya’s face with one hand. Looking briefly past Suya, Bosc caught a glimpse of none other than Jayco, the man who was always glaring with envy and resentment at Bosc who knew exactly why, speaking with Mauve. Jayco and Suya seemed to have had a brief falling out and both have refused to talk to the other. Because of that, Bosc continuously chose to kiss and flirt with Sayu in front of Jayco to make him jealous. Maybe then Jayco would actually make a move on Sayu. Bosc only smirked more at this thought. “I think you need a distraction and I am gladly ready to provide…~” Bosc stole a kiss from Suya’s lips, a long deep kiss that would leave anyone out of breath just so he could savor Suya for longer. As he enjoyed Suya’s lips, he made sure to glance directly at Jayco with a devilish smirk and even winking his way. Call him a fire starter if you will, but at least he looked damn good while carrying the gasoline. Once Bosc pulled away, he whispered in a husky voice: “Let’s get out of here and have some fun in our usual spot, okay?~”

Wrapping an arm around Suya’s waist, Bosc held him close as they walked rather quickly to their normal meeting spot: the library.

~~~~~
The library seemed to be twice the height of a normal room and nearly the same as the ballroom which was a grand room with a lower and upper floor; however, the library was the exact opposite of the ballroom in everything but its height. With dark oak shelves and books packed neatly into each section it was a peaceful paradise whereas the ballroom was home only to boring noise and music that was truly the most mediocre thing available. The best part about the library was not the amount of books or the silence but the privacy which was perfect for Suya and Bosc.
Bosc was almost instantly all over Suya once they entered the spacious maze of stories, kissing his neck and pulling him closer until they arrived at their hidden corner. Coincidentally by the romance and the adult romance section of the library, the farthest corner from the entrance not only offered the most privacy but the shelves creaked and groaned less there when being pushed into.
“Normally I would have you pinned to the wall by now,” Bosc stated casually as if it were such a normal thing to say out in public as he pulled away from Suya’s neck and leaned against the wall, “but I am assuming you have also been neglecting your needs, correct? Not having blood so you can focus on other, less important things?” Bosc tilted his head before sighing softly. “In the future, you need to drink some more from Garvin when you next see him, but for now…,” Bosc smiled invitingly as he tugged at the collar of his suit to reveal more of his neck, “you can have a little snack before the meeting.~”
☾ Tatsuya Iseul-Fraener Montcrioux ☾
Hypnosis Vampire | Archduke | 698 | Male | Mentions : Brosc, Maueve & Jayco (ind.) , Other Vampires (ind.)
The male huffed in annoyance as he awaited the response from the other vampire. He was very agitated at the moment and being stared at silently wouldn't do anything for his current mental stability. He could at least be trying to give him some advice or something, it doesn't make sense that he's standing there ⎯ looking gorgeous ⎯ and absolutely doing nothing for him. He then earned a response, it was a low chuckle, and by the stars and moons it was so tempting. Good lord above, this man was absolutely stunning in his eyes and he was quite pleased with himself for the catch. And he dared anyone to flirt with this one ⎯ while there may not be offical harem members to one person, other vampires knew exactly that Brosc was fancied by Tatsuya - and if anyone dared to even flirt or look at him lustfully, they would feel his rage. This also applies to Jayco as well ⎯ but as of late, he had been acting distant and taking longer trips away . And made him wonder if he did anything to chase that specific reaction, was he really that bad of a lover to him? However his melancholy thoughts were interrupted by Brosc saying he was enjoying the view.
"Hmph ⎯ , I don't know are you willing to pay for it. I'm a very expensive man to keep up with, can you keep up with that?" He said rather sassily back, with a slight toss of his hair. And he had to keep the heat from rising in his face, no matter how much he did it - he was always flustered whenever someone looked over him like he was a fine meal or something to be cherished, but then he had to let out a scandalized gasp at his rather provocative statement. Actually when was the last time he had gotten laid? It was possibly a couple months, damn he needed something to have some fun, and soon. And he could practically think about the heavenly times with Brosc between the sheets.
Damnit. Now he was having lustful thoughts when he should be more focused on more important matters. He then got distracted by the vampire as he tugged at his suit collar and decided to make a point of showing off his rather exposed chest due to the unbuttoned shirt, and not to mention the tantalizing appearance of his neck. Goddamn that handsome impish devil, making him feel things. But one thing for sure he would not get distracted any longer! However he promptly went to being distracted when heard the laugh and answer of the man ⎯ not to mention the closeness of their faces and their lips. God he just wanted to kiss them but he didn't want to give into that impulse. And as he got the compliments he felt a hand come around his waist pull him closer. And then the hands that had been on his waist were sliding down to his hips and he didn't mind. Rather he enjoyed it very much - and he gave an annoyed pout at the mention of him overthinking. He had been taken aback by the sudden contact so he found himself leaning forward a bit more with his hands resting on Brosc's chest
" It's not a silly matter." He huffed, in defiance. He honestly didn't see what the big deal was. So what he was stressing, it's not really anything to worry about. But apparently this lover of his was going to make it his problem. And for some reason that make him feel good.
He had to turn his head at the sound of doors being kicked in. And in all his glory there was Jayco ⎯ with a goddamn bear corpse, he had so many questions and concerns. He was slightly agitated as Jayco decided to greet Maueve rather than him first. It was infuriating to see that blonde around him and not to mention it was rumored that they had slept together a while ago but it was still annoying to think she has been with him as well. The thought of second-fiddle to another woman made him angry. Not to mention - Jayco had been away for a whole month and didn't even give him a hello or greeting and that made him even more upset. His thoughts were interrupted when he felt his face being cupped by Brosc and he could feel his eyes widen and he had to blink a couple times after he didn't that. He was about to reply but he was cut off by Brosc saying he needs a distraction, and then he was pulled into a deep kiss.
"Mmphh⎯" he exclaimed in shock at the kiss. Slightly leaning back because of the force of it. He wasn't really caring who saw him - if anyone wanted to make a scandal about him kissing his partner then so be it. The kiss was long ⎯ deep and passionate, it sort of felt angry, and he doesn't know why but the thought of Brosc doing something like that ⎯ if his heart could, it would be fluttering and rapidly beating at this point. He pressed in for more, greedy for this kiss like a kid gorging themselves on sweets. And just like that the kiss was done, gone too soon like a cool breeze on a hot summer's day, and leaving him breathless ⎯ god's and he had been eating strawberries too, as he could taste them on his lips. He was going to demand another kiss, but he could feel his ears burn at the next comment.
He was definitely distracted now ; him having a rather giddy and love struck expression on his face as he was stolen away by Brosc fo the library. His worries and concerns being forgotten as he exited the ballroom and made there way towards the library. Such a scandalous hideaway to sneak kisses. Such impure and unholy souls they were at this moment.
✧༺♥༻∞ ✧༺♥༻∞ ✧༺♥༻∞
If they ever had meetings at this old raggedy castle ⎯ the two would slip away from prying eyes to have some times for themselves, whether they just wanted to ; talk, read, cuddle, or make out. This was their hidden little spot, and he wouldn't change that for anything. It was a rather beautiful library in all honesty - the librarian that would keep them in check or scold them for their activities was long gone from here. Hopefully she wasn't rolling over in her grave because of the two. He rather enjoyed the privacy and thrill this library provided.
He hadn't expected to be bombared with kisses to his neck. But they were much welcomed, and if anything it could be said he was purring like a cat at the satisfying actions. As he was pressed closer fo the male ⎯ his senses were being flooded by him ⎯ his scent was hypnotic beyond reason, drawing him in and making him feel wanted, safe, and loved. And he loved that about him, as they arrived towards their spot, he felt the anticipation well in his stomach ⎯ he wanted more affection, even if it was just sweet nothings being whispered between them. But he was rather disappointed. Especially when he made the comment about him usually being pinned to a wall.
" And why am I not now. " he replied rather grouchily as he faces the leaning man. His cheeks puffed in annoyance at the man leaving his neck - he had quite appreciated the warmth from him. And he looked rather sheepishly as he was called out for his lack of caring for himself but frowned at the mention of his tasks being less important and how he should feed from Garvin. He was going to protest more but was pleased to find that he was going to be compensated for being brought here. He could suffer a little scolding then. But he was actually annoyed, how could he trick him like that and tease him like that earlier. Oh, he was about to have fun.
He had a rather nice height advantage today. His heels making him 6'1 as opposed to his normal 5'10 stature ⎯ and he was about to use this to his full advantage. A flirtatious smirk graced his features as he gently grabbed Brosc's loose black tie, and he closed the space between then as he slowly wrapped the tie around his hand, and with a little force brought him down for easier access fo his kissable lips. " Hello ~ " he said rather teasingly with a big grin on his face as their lips brushed together.
And he planted a soft, feather kiss on Brosc's lips. Then two softer kisses on his cheek and chin. He then returned to his lips ⎯ softly, and gently bitting down on the lower one in a teasing, sultry manner. He then decided to stop teasing his lover, well maybe he would tease him a bit more ⎯ after all, Brosc had done it to him. And so he wrapped his arms around the neck of the man, leaning on him - leaving little to no space between them. And he leaned forward with a mischievous gleam in his eyes as he whispered in his lover's ears.
"You know, you're such a tease. Are you taking my role, pretty boy?" He said, his voice husky and dripping with silkiness, as he rested his head in the crook of his partner's neck, his soft breathing right on the sensitive part of Brosc's skin where he would make his bite ⎯ and so he began nibbling at the skin . Slowly, teasingly grazing his fangs over the flesh. As if in a way preparing him for the bit ; and without warning, his fangs pierced the skin of the male and he could taste and see the vermillion liquid. To humans the blood was metallic and salty, but to him ⎯ Brosc's blood reminded him of bloodied strawberries - sweet, tangy, and just a little bit salty ⎯ they were addictive, just like him.
"Mmmpphh⎯" he said giving a hum in both relief and pleasure as the blood entered his system. As he drank more he felt more clear-headed and less upset. However, he wasn't going to be greedy, he would drink just enough just to take the edge off - after all Brosc needed his blood for his powers. Once he was done feeding he noticed some blood was smeared from the area he bit, and so he licked the remaining blood off of him.
"You didn't have to let me drink off you, there was blood available in the cellars and such. So thank you." He said planting a kiss on his neck. Now that he was done, he felt better after having that feeding. Maybe he'll get some blood from the cellars as well to finish curbing his appetite. His eyes were getting closer to their violet color. And he couldn't help but stare at those lips of his again, and realized he wanted more kisses.
He also realized how exposed Brosc was and this made him give a slight growl of annoyance at the thought. And the thought of other vampires looking at him lustfully made him angrier. And so he decide to do something about that ; he kissed Brosc rather roughly ⎯ it was searing, and demanding , one denoting his frustration and even possessiveness. It was like he was parched and Brosc was the damned sea to quench him of his thirst. He has been so engrossed in the kiss, he didn't realized he was the one pinning Brosc to the bookcase.
When he detached himself from kissing Brosc, he realize had forgotten to come up for air ⎯ wait vampires didn't need air. He stared at Brosc, before peppering sweet, delicate kisses along his jawline, before whispering in his ear, " I don't know what it is ⎯ but you make me go crazy." And he gave a rare giggle, his crimson stained lips brushing against Brosc's ear. He didn't care if his lips were puffy or swollen because of the kisses ⎯ he was hungry, desperate even for more of them. And there was a certain fire in his eyes now as he looked at Brosc with mischievous eyes.
"You don't think they'll mind us being a little late because we're preoccupied do you?" He said wrapping his arms lovingly around the neck of the man, with a teasing and sultry tone of voice. He wasn't in a rush to get back at all.
🩸- Kiran Eros -🩸
Blood Gifter(Umbria)| M, Human| 27 | M: Umbria, Zylpha, Bella
Kiran stuck to the shadows of the hall outside the room the Justicar went into. Keeping his good ear towards the hall and away from the room. He had started to over hear vivid arguments and had decided it was none of his business. Turning his deaf ear towards the room instead. He would rather keep his focus and his attention to the hall to make sure any roaming vampire coming to the castle didn't decide to find and make him dinner. Umbria and Him had not been to court in awhile and he definitely hadn't been around this many hungry angry vampires in his entire life. While he was human he could handle himself for awhile. He had his heigh on his side a towering 6 foot 6. Plus his weapons of choice.
Adjusting the dual axes on his belt; both slightly loosened for easier access if the need arose. He leaned back against the wall and began thinking over the different techniques and tools The justicar had been teaching him about blood magic. In less than a week he would be one of them and would need to know how to use his inherited gift from his soon to be siress. His while braided hair lay over his shoulder blending in with the white fur cloak he wore around him. His dark black and forest green garments keeping him warm against the winter chill coming through every crack in the beaten down ruins that they called a castle.
While the cold was intense Kiran loved the winter and all that came with it. Plus the vampires where known to throw killer bonfire nights. Literally killer. He quickly snapped out of his thoughts as the door to the room opened and an unfamiliar face stormed out. That must be the new queen he realized. Watching closely and with a start that she was easily younger than him. He was deep in the halls shadows and she didn't notice him as she left down the corridor and turned the corner.
A few moments later the Royal consort and his Patron were storming out after her. He fell in step a few feet behind. Staying within ten feet of the two women just in case a court member decided they didn't know he was claimed and tried something. Silently waiting for them to continue moving as the stopped by a painting the women all observed. He recognized the Late queen and Lady Bǫlverkr in the painting along with the Archduke Tatsuya.
He bowed his head in the traditional motion a common sign of respect to the dead. He had not known the queen but had heard of her accomplishments and Umbria spoke highly of her. Thus he wore the appropriate black in honor.
