The way the two girls very unsubtly shifted around and played with things on their desk, the hushed whispers. Oh, Leyla was on to them. Well, alright, not entirely, but it was at least fourty percent! They were plotting, and very few good things came from plotting. Or was that scheming? Either way, it didn't matter! A mystery was afoot, and it was a mystery Leyla absolutely had to solve. Both for her own personal curiousity and for SCIENCE. ~ The teacher pulled up a portrait done by some artist, and was going on about composition and paint mixing. Leyla only paid the cursory amount of attention to the lecture, more focused on her own internal planning. Maybe she should finally set up that stakeout she'd been wanting to do, but who to base it on? Or she could do some good old-fashioned stalking, that was always fun. This group was fun to follow. Everyone else she'd 'wandered' after hadn't noticed her, even when she went far closer than she should have. But these ones, they noticed her. It was a challenge, and that was something Leyla would almost always welcome. What's the point of life if it doesn't get interesting? |

Auburn started working on her recent masterpiece, and Leyla made no move towards Nic's table, so Nic allowed herself to relax and work on her art. It wasn't nearly as good as Auburn's. Auburn was the artist, not Nic. Nic's art piece was an underwater seascape, each fish and piece of coral was painstakingly placed. Nic only had half the image done Well, half and the turtle that was the focus of the image. As the period wore on, Nic found that the classroom grew hot. So, naturally, she reached for her water bottle. Nic grabbed the bottle by the top, which, in the morning, had been hastily screwed on. Naturally, the bottle fell, and the water spilled. Without thinking, Nic used what little water manipulation skills she had to stop the water from reaching the computers. Instead, the water ran off the desk, onto Nic's lap. "Shit." Nic stood up and ran to grab some paper towels. Meanwhile, the art teacher looked on with disdain. Nic grabbed the roll of paper towels, then hurried back to her seat, mopping up the water from the table and her legs. |

Marcellus Regis Fox/Female/17/Fox-Black Mamba/Mentions: Open Mercy was glaring out her window from her bed when the sun rose, her body curled in a ball under the expensive sheet that was torn from her body, just like the rest of her clothes, hours before. Another day feeling dirty and gross, she thought as she slipped out of bed and into the shower. She was 4 when she moved in with her current foster mother and father, along with her 2 foster siblings, a set of rediculousy hyper twin boys that moved out and went to college when she was 12. She knew the second she met him that her foster father would not be a kind man, and that his wife would do nothing to stop it. She scrubbed at her body till her skin was raw, and then got out of the shower, wrapping herself in the softest towels she had, continueing on to her closet. She dressed in her highwaisted, black jeans that had various holes stretching from the ankle to the top of her thighs, a silver studded black belt, and a maroon, off the shoulder, red crop top that flowed off her arms and chest like a waterfall, and a pair of black knee high boots. Mercy ran a brush through her hair, through her gym clothes into her bag, and tiptoed down the stairs and through the front door. Outside sat a black pick up truck Mercy had bought with almost all her savings, and one she loved dearly. Did she have to jump to get in the front seat? Yes but that wasnt important. She made the drive to school that lasted about 20 minutes, before taking the parkingspot in a dark, hidden corner, like she always did. She doubted most people knew it was there. Mercy dropped her bag into her locker from there, taking her gym clothes, (A pair of shorts and a t shirt) and headed to her first class and probably her favorite. PE. Who enjoys pe? Girls who like to laugh at the senior guys when she can hold a push up longer than them. |

Gah, Leyla really wanted to be able to just slam her palms on her desk, point at Nicole and Auburn, and shout 'SEE?!?' at the top of her lungs. Water should not move like that. The laptops should have gotten at least spritzed, but no, bone dry! Aaahhh, but she hadn't gotten it on video. Leyla should invest in one of those hidden cameras that she could keep recording at all times without anyone knowing. After all, it was only illegal if you got caught! ~ Okay, but what exactly did this sudden new data mean? Hydrokinesis, what could possibly have control over water? Escaped government test subject, alien, elemental wizard? Okay, probably not the last one. Most likely government super soldier. But did she know? Test-tube GMO, raised in a controllable small-town enviornment in order to generate loyalty? Or totally-aware secret soldier laying low during initial training to build up a background? Make herself relateable to the public when the nation finds its next justifiable target and declares war? Nicole seemed aware that she had hydrokinesis, enough to make it a seemingly instinctive reaction, so she had at least some kind of previous knowledge of it. But she hadn't done it subtly, at all, and left a bunch to spill into her own lap. Therefore, probably not a top-secret supersoldier in training, or she wouldn't have made such a slip. Alright then, so. Nicole knows about having hydrokinesis, enough to have some, likely self-directed, training. She might also have other non-water related abilities, but that was unlikely. Nicole refused to touch the school's pool, citing a chlorine allergy. Either water that had been chemically treated was genuinely harmful to her, or being around and/or in contact with any types of hydrogen dioxide would reveal something about her that she'd rather keep secret. |

In the previous lesson, the class managed to finish the whole topic about the mountains in North America. As part of the revision to the test, teacher told them to get into groups to repeat the topic. Before it was told what to do, everyone was supposed to made small groups including 3-4 people or pairs. .
Kim looked around. She hadn't close relationship with most of the students. Many have already matched up. *What to do...* she thought quietly to herself. And looked at Taylor. . After all, why not to try with him? Girl approached him hopefully. "Hey, would you like to pair with me?" then quickly added "unless I was late and someone had already took that place "she laughed lightly "Then I will ask if I can join you both!" . Erisdar Draumkopa // 18 // Phoenix-Lion // M: Open Eris jolted awake, covered in a cold sweat. 'It was just a dream....' he told himself, calming himself down. He then looked at the time. 'I'm so late!' he thought, getting out of bed fast, and quickly slicing through the ropes around his chest his parents forced him to wear to bind his wings to his back so they didn't wake up to them thrashing in the middle of the night. He pulled on his red sweatshirt with a gold diamond pattern going down the center of both sleeves, the sides of the sweatshirt, and the edge of the hood. He pulled on a pair of jeans, and ran a hand quickly through his rumpled hair, trying to make it look somewhat presentable, with the addition of the black and red patterned phoenix feathers in it. He pulled on his hightops, tucking his wings into his sweatshirt. He'd just have to hope no one saw his tail. Not that it mattered, he'd be gone before long. He dashed out of the door, picking up his black backpack from where he left it, and snatching a couple sausages off of his little sister's plate, knowing his parents would feed her ten times as much when they heard he'd stolen them from her. He quickly raced out before she could tell them. He raced into school and up to the biology classroom, quickly taking a seat and looking around, spotting a couple of his friends there. |

Nic walked as fast as she could, since running was technically illegal in the school. Nic darted into the first bathroom she came across and slammed one of the stall doors shut. Once Nic was certain no one would see, Nic used her weak water manipulation to pull the water off of her clothes. Dry again, Nic left the bathroom and headed to her next class, AP literature. (sorry for the short posts, just not much happening in Nic world.) |
