Glory || Mentions: Dia, Abomination

Yes, yes! Dia! Glory started for her, but just before her eyes Dia was scooped up, screaming in pain. Glory roared in fury, and with all her might, she launched into the air, tackling the abomination, causing to make the creature drop Dia. She grabbed the abomination by the face, crushing down on its thick skull. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work. It grabbed her by the fur, and threw her against a tree, righting itself up, going after Dia again. Glory's chest started to warm up, turning into an orange, redish sort of color, it had spread up her neck, and below her jaw. Dont play with fire, her jaws opened wide, and a wave of fire, and heat exploded from her mouth, chasing after the abomination. The creature screamed, trying desperately to run away. Glory walked forward, fire just kept coming and coming until the orange faded from her chest and throat. She was breathing heavily, but lack of energy didn't stop her. She walked over to the still body of the beast, and grabbed ahold of its neck. Or your gonna get burned. She twisted her head, snapping the creatures neck.

Glory shapeshifted as fast as she could back to her regular self, and she grabbed Dia by the arm, picking her up, rocking back and forth. "Hey, hey. Its ok, Im here. It can't hurt you any more, sh shh." She brushed the child's hair with her fingers, she hummed a lullaby her sister's used to hum to her when she was scared, alone, and terrified. This particular lullaby was known as "You are my Sunshine" by god knows who, Glory didn't like to think of the specifics. She hummed, trying to calm the child down. She rocked back and forth, holding the child close to her.

"It hurts," Glory rubbed her back, tears streaming down her face. "Its ok..I have you now, I got you." She didn't even risk moving her arm to wipe her own face, she kept her arms wrapped around the small kid. "Don't go." "No, no. I am not going anywhere, no, no." She walked out of the trees, away from the charred body and the entire place. She walked to the quiet beach, walking along the ocean's banks. She stared out at the boats, her teeth gritting. I can't help you Jackson. Glory walked, and walked, holding Dia close. "Sh, sh, sh," she whispered, rubbing Dia's shoulders and back.

"I wanna go home," and just like, Glory picked Dia up, placing her on her shoulders, shifting. Dia was now resting on the back of the wolf's back. She shifted her body weight, and started off in a trot, heading back to the town they were previously in. She yawned, upping her pace, looking back and forth in each direction. To her right, a few yards away, she could see movement, towards them. She huffed, and shook her head, running at thus point now. The horrid, acidic smells started to blanket the forest floor. She wrinkled her nose, disgusted by it. What and where are these things coming from? It can't possibly be Ibex, these things are just too much of failures.

Of course, there had to be a patrol right in front of them. Glory growled, and took a hard left, scraping her front leg against a dead tree. Ow. She bared her teeth, blowing air out. She halted to a short stop, when she saw a patrol in every direction. She twirled in circles, searching a way safest for herself and Dia. The upside, none of them had notice them quite yet but the wrong sound or movements would lead them right to her. She looked up at the trees, and back to the ground where the abominations were heading right at them. Hold tight Dia..Glory launched herself in the air, her claws out, gribbing the hard, rough bark on the trees. She heard shouts from below, and she began jumping from tree to tree.

When Glory found an opening, she leaped down, but a gunshot let loose in the air, striking Glory in the side. It had a green sort of fluff sticking out, and a sharp needle injected into her. She let out a loud yelp before crashing onto the forest floor, she looked behind her to see Dia still alive on her back. She got back up, running, fleeing the area. Her side ached, and her head felt dizzy, and she could feel herself becoming wobbly, but she would need to wait before she could take any sort of naps.

Glory could feel as everything had just stopped dead in its tracks, and was revived. She ignored the feeling, trudging forward, she was gradually slowing down, breathing heavily. Her mind was alive, but her body seemed to be shutting down, she was pushing it, she knew, but Dia's safety was her number one concern. Her body thought not. The large wolf slowed to a wobbling walk, she looked back the shouting had stopped, quieting down. Her bottom jaw was hanging open, her tounge swaying back and forth. She tripped over herself, and as she looked back to look at Dia, she collapsed. Her legs sprawled out, her head resting on the side of a log. Her eyes started to flutter, she fought against it, trying to focus on keeping them opened. She tried to look for Dia, but couldn't see past her leg. Her thoughts jumbled together, and she could feel as she lost control over her legs. Her eyes darted to the dart sticking out of her skin, she reached over, and wrapped her teeth around it, pulling it out. As she used her last amount of energy, her head slowly fell down, dropping the tranquilizer dart in front of her muzzle.
