Jackson I I Mentions: Glory, Dia and Aztec Jackson watched Glory closely. He nodded, but felt bad as he saw her struggle to get up. He felt Aztec hiding behind him and he gently patted the boy's head, trying to reassure him that everything was gonna be okay. He was trying to calm himself down too, but the truth was that he was terrified, moments before his last capture kept trying to overtake his mind. He was having some bad PTSD and didn't want to have a breakdown. "Let's go find a hotel." He said, faking calmness. He was shaking, physically shaking, along with barely being able to breathe in anything but short hollow breaths. He took a step and stumbled slightly, but righted himself. He looked behind him at his son again and nodded shakily, gently reaching down to pick the terrified boy up. He went over to Glory, trying still to fake that he was okay when he most obviously wasn't. He noticed Dia standing near Glory, looking scared as well. They were all scared, scared of Ibex.

Malaki: Mentions: Jorah, Cybele, Jackson, Glory, Aztec and Dia Malaki sat at a table inside Mosh, his head a frenzy of paranoia and questions, all in an attempt to wrap his brain around the revelation that Ibex had returned. Great, Ibex is back, and I don't think I'll be able to run away from my problems this time. But maybe... just maybe they won't go for me. I was rather difficult for them to make progress on, and if they made that zombie fellow, then they should be focused on they they cheated death rather than some old runaway. His mind wandered back to the zombie fellow (Jorah) inside Cybele's flower shop. I wonder if he's actually dead. His mind also thought about the family of four (Jackson, Glory, Dia and Aztec) he nearly ran into before seeing the vest. There's no way they could be mutants... or could they? Nothing else on the street would be worth panicking over, and they were all clearly spooked by something in particular. They can't be... it's just a coincidence. Malaki rubbed his head as he saw a few people point and talk about him, probably for one of his recent performances. Looks like my music career could be going up in smoke if Ibex ever catches me again. Standing up, Malaki began to walk out, but stopped to take a selfie with a fan, then left the building. I need someone by my side if it hits the fan, and I know where to look... hopefully that zombie guy is still there. Maliki picked up the pace, hoping to catch him before he left the shop and disappeared into the rest of the city.

Dakota || Mentions: Levushka, Litch (ind.) Something in the air smelt different...almost-dead? Dakota was a good 50ft away from the market's doors when she felt a hand on her shoulders, she began to wirl around but heard their whispers. "Dakota. It's me, Levushka. No need to panic. Act natural." She felt confused, as to why she had 'no need' to panic, and to 'act natural.' Her expression was filled with curiousity and question, and opened her mouth to say something, but Lev spoke again, "Nyx is with Kiril. She'll be fine." Dakota nodded, smiling slightly, noticing Levushka come up beside her, "Good." She smelt it again, the rotting flesh smell.. but it didn't feel necessarily dead, "Do you smell that?-" She looked around slightly, barely moving her head. She began walking forward towards the market doors, only becoming more and more curious about what and where that smell was coming from. Glory || Mentions: Jackson, Dia, Aztec Glory righted herself, and dusted herself off, recooperating from the earlier incident. She took a few deep breaths in, calming herself down. She refused to remember the horrid events back there- she refused it. She glanced to everyone, sighing quietly to herself. "Let's go find a hotel." Jackson had said, and Glory nodded in agreement. Aztec quickly hurried to his mother, grabbing ahold of her, pulling down on her sweater, "Its ok honey," she spoke in a small whisper, pushing his hair back from his forehead. She picked him up, and could feel im scrambling up, locking his arms around her neck. She pushed him up again, getting a proper hold on him, making sure he wouldn't fall. Glory began to walk forward, knowing Jackson and Dia were only miliseconds behind, and she rubbed Aztec's back, keeping her focus right in front of her. Not daring to look anywhere else.

Jackson I I Mentions: Glory, Dia and Aztec Jackson followed Glory, trying to stop himself from shaking so badly. He stuck his hands in his pockets- that didn't help. He then tried to cross his arms- that made it worse. He was trying to move his hands into his pockets again when Dia's hand slid into his. He looked over at his daughter, her terrified wide eyes mirroring his own. He felt her squeeze his hand and he gave her a weak nervous smile. He noticed a hotel and wondered if Glory would stop there. Was it even safe? Was any place safe? What if they got ahold of Glory, or Aztec, or Dia. He wouldn't be able to live with himself, he couldn't let Ibex take them from him. "Should we stay there?" He asked Glory, voice very shaky.

Blade I I Mentions: Nyx Blade walked along. He had left the woman lying on the ground, the one who's head he had slammed into a brick wall. He felt nothing towards the action, well besdies a slight feeling of sickening joy. He was walking past houses now, he didn't really pay attention to where he was walking anymore. He had started to study the people in their homes, looking for any opening he might have. He saw one, one very large and easy opening. A house, specifically the house that seemed mostly empty. He raised an eyebrow, starting to ruffle his hair up again. He went and walked around the house, simply levitating himself over anything that stood in his way. Once he was satisfied that no one but a woman and a child seemed to be home, he moved his plan into action. He was especally fastinated when he saw the familiar. He would be able to use his powers on this woman. He knocked on the front door, his hair back in his eyes, as he put a worried expression on his face, one that showed fear and terror. He would fake that he was a runaway experiment, which he was, but one that was in need of help. He made his hands fidget nervously, as his eyes darted around and he looked behind him every few seconds. He really was good, honestly it surprised himself and he loved every moment of it.

Nyx || Mentions: Kiril, Blade Nyx was lying down on the couch, her arms crossed beneath her head, her eyes barely open. She yawned quietly, and stretched her legs, rolling her ankles hearing a few pops, then she heard a series of knocking on the door. "The fuck.." she mumbled, and sat up lazily, well, it for sure wasn't Lev since he wouldn't be 'knocking'. She groaned, and sat up groggily, stretching her arms. As the knocking went on, she hissed, "Yeah, yeah! I'm coming. Jesus." Nyx felt like an old women for gods sakes, being pregnant was not fun in the slighest. She made her way to the door, taking the chain off the lock, and looked back to Kiril, "Don't kill them right off the back please," she mumbled. She opened the door halfway, only showing her head, and her top half of her body, hiding the fact she was pregnant. Nyx did not expect this in the least, a troubled looking young man stood on her porch, looking horrified and tormented. "Erm.. are you alright sir?-" She tilted her head to the side slightly, examining the man. Well this was unexpected. Glory || Mentions: Jackson, Aztec, Dia Glory and her family came up upon a building, a hotel. "Should we stay there?" She shrugged her shoulders, "Not much anywhere else. Plus, I can get us out of there, all of us, if need be." She shifted her weight, holding Aztec closer, walking in through the door. As soon as she stepped foot into the hotel, people glanced at her, like a black sheep in a white sheep flock. She was nervous for a moment, and glared, "Anything worth taking a picture?" Thankfully, they all moved onto their merry way, the clerks at the desk looking at her suspiciously. She walked up to them, "A room for... 5 please." She asked with a smile, and the clerk looked behind her, "There is only fou-" "Yes, our friend is.. on their way." Glory and the clerk stared at one another for a few, silencing moments, and the clerk sighed, "Room 43. Level 2," he said with a grumble, and Glory nodded, feeling victorious. "Thank you." Glory turned to look at Jackson, and looked back to the Clerk, "Also.. a nice wardrobe would be appreciated." The clerk glared ta her, and began to speak but she interrupted, "Don't want unhappy customers.. now do you?" The man huffed, and flicked his hand and she nodded, walking away, towards the stairs. She sighed in relief, and wiped her forehead, gritting her teeth, "I hate clerks."

Blade I I Mentions: Nyx Blade looked at the woman who opened the door. His light blue eyes examining her while they showed pure fear and terror. He looked away fom her suddenly, lip quivering. He made sure his breath was even irrigular, everything had to be perfect. He looked around nervously, creeping slightly closer to the door and the woman. "I-I looked in-inside..." He started mumbling, meaning looked inside the house through the window. "I-I felt y-your power... I-I'm sorry, I-I know I shouldn't have... I-I saw the lion a-and I-I knew... Pl-please, I-I saw them again.... please don't let them ge-get me." Blade stammered, even letting a tear escape his eyes. He needed to get in, needed her to believe his act. Although there was something true when he mentioned the unnamed Ibex. He was terrified to go back, although he usually turned the terror immidiately into anger. At heart maybe he was just a scared little boy, but in his mind he was much past that. He was an evil backstabbing bastard, and he loved it. His shoulders were hunched even more, he was looking beind him and scanning the streets instead of focusing on the woman.

Shadow Chaise | M: Finley, Open Shadow limped forward as he heard Finley move up beside him. Maybe a stroll through the park would ease them both. Finley spoke beside him, the same hollowness in his voice, "What was the question about being alone about? If you don’t mind me asking." Shadow tilted his head towards Finley as the stopped at a crosswalk. He didn't want to spook the man but also wanted to be truthful as well. Finley had trusted him enough to. . .well, not fight him or run so there was that.
As they crossed the street, Shadow replied calmly, "There is many things we must discuss, concerning you and me and mutants in particular." His even answer was concealed only slightly as he got to the edges of the park. "How many mutants have you encountered?" He asked, tilting his head towards Finley as he relaxed. His earth power was now reaching out and the branches of a tree nearby already come down to greet him. The leaves brushed against him, the wind swirling slightly before dying down. He hated city life, no hate was a strong word. Disliked. He disliked the city life. The park was probably the one place in the city that you could find him. Oh, and the library. He had found a great librarian who would read books to him and teach him. His attention turned back to Finley, awaiting his answer.

Nyx || Mentions: Blade Nyx was quiet. He didn't mean it. Did he? This had to be a joke.. they were killed, gone, destroyed. Every building was burned to ashes... she would know-..it can't be. She bit her lip, and looked about, "Fuck," she mumbled, and gritted her teeth. Lord. It would be wrong to leave this guy to them.. she tossed her head, and sighed. "Fine. 10 minutes, you hear?" She opened the door, and looked back to Kiril, "Erm, don't mind him.. unless you do something stupid," she mumbled and made way for the young man to come in. She thought for a moment, and sighed, "Close the door for me. I'm too lazy to do it." Nyx walked back over to the couch, rubbing Kiril's head just before she plopped back onto the ouch, resting her head against the pillow. "Kitchen, that way. Bathroom, that way. Snoop anywhere else, I'm kicking your ass out," she pointed into the directions, and crossed her legs. She was sitting upright, holding her head a bit back, against a pillow. Nyx honestly had no thought or care what this young man saw or heard, so, she didn't ask to hear it. Something seemed off about him, but then again, most people are off when terrified.

Blade I I Mentions: Nyx Blade felt victory when the woman allowed him to come inside her house. He pushed the door the rest of the way open and then closed it behind him. He hadn't noticed the woman was pregnant before, but it didn't change his plan completely. Maybe he'd leave her within an inch of her life. The child inside of her didn't deserve to die... not yet anyway. Maybe he'd cut it out of her, he'd never done that before. He was always up for trying new things, although he was very bad at making up his mind. He decided to snoop around the house a little bit. He noticed the lion watching him and as soon as Nyx had walked away enough to not see him anymore, his eyes glowed. He was using his powers, his powers of persuasion in particular. "Don't tell your master I'm here, or if you do don't say I'm a threat. I'm a friend, a scared little man." He hissed in barely over a whisper to the lion, getting it to do what he wanted. He immidiately regained his scared act and wandered around. He grabbed a few crackers from the kitchen, along with some water. He was curious how this experimental woman was living. Her boyfriend was obviousally one too, as the familiar wasn't hers it seemed. He walked around for a bit before going over to Nyx. "C-can I sit? I-I just want to st-stay near someone s-safe." He asked her, looking at the couch. "S-sorry... I-I'm s-such a burden..." He said, looking down at the floor.
