2023 News July 19th, 2023. In our beloved California, mysterious fires have broke out, very similar to the one in 2014. The facilities burned down to the ground, were supposedly holding 'mutants' and 'experiments' consisting of humans with spliced genes of unknown idenities. A total of 6 buildings were burned and destroyed, leaving nothing but ash and ruin. Many, many bodies were found, along with what seemed to be Dr. Stevens whom was presumed to be dead in the 2014 fire. Our lovely governor, K.L Jones, has sent law enforcement to search throughout the state to find any more remaining buildings of the so called organization "Ibex". No signs of any Ibex remained in this here state, but in many other states, building have caught on fire so strong not even 100 firemen could put out. These fires have all been linked to Dr. Stevens and Ibex, to what we have found, this is the end of whatever Ibex used or could be. Yup. We are back here... again. Sigh, if only the real world knew. If only they knew.. In order to participate in this RP, you must read the rules, respect everyone around you, be positive and have fun! You are an "Experimental." Before you a group of 20 or so Experimentals escaped the first fire, on the run for their lives. Slowly, they met eachother one by one, ending up defeating Ibex burning down the last facilities. But unfortunately, they missed one....oh sweet lord they did. No one would think to check underneath the ocean. Life has been perfect for you and your fellow mutants, no Ibex sightings, no evil scientists or horrid experiments. But not everything lasts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How this is going to Work So, a few others and I, RPed with this exact plot for a long while, and well, it was time for a revamp. They are allowed full permission to reserve spots as long as they want, not as many but as long as they want. Ok. Explaining time. Your characters are going to be spending their time with whomever they choose, life is going to be dandy and all of a sudden, Ibex will be spotted. I choosed when Ibex reveals themselves, not you my darling munchkins. Its really simple, honestly. Its been 9-10 years since the first fire, and the mutants were freeed, and they had been on the run for their entire existence in the free world until 2023 (The Year in the RP) and now, they are stress-free and free to do whatever they want! Mutants that known eachother since the beginning may/or may not still be roaming around.. Character's abilities DO EVOLVE and MUTATE. The previous roleplayers who were in Experimentals 1, they get more powers in their sign-up sheets because their characters evolved, alot. They get 8-9 powers. Dont worry, you'll get more powers to! I do my best to let none of you down :) |

RP Rules: 1. NO Godmodding AT ALL. Just because you have powers, doesn't mean you can kill someone in one hit or dodge every attack.
2. Hate the Character not the Player
3. This is Semi-Lit, so I expect to see 6+ Sentences. 2+ Paragraphs would be nice, but I can deal with 6+ Sentences.
4. No Hidden Powers. You can't make a form, enter the RP then add "Hidden" Powers and you can not edit your Powers on your Form either.
5. Romance is allowed, but let's keep it...appropriate :>
6. Swearing is allowed
7. No Drama among the Players, drama is allowed inside the RP and inside alone.
8. Your character can get hurt, and injured. You are not allowed to kill someone's character off unless both I and the character's Player are asked and given permission.
9. No controlling other people's characters.
10. Have fun! When you write your RP's paragraphs, make sure to add your characters "Name" and "Mentions." Any other information is optional.

Malaki looked up at the bright blue sky before taking in a deep breath. It had been nine years since Ibex burned to the ground, and every day after escaping Malaki felt better and better, as if chains from his past were slipping off more and more as the days went on. It wasn't easy, starting off with absolutely nothing, but thanks to his aspiriations of becoming a wrestler before he was locked up in Ibex, it gave him the muscle and endurance to do more strenuous work, giving him enough cash to buy food, clothes and all that good stuff... but he didn't like living in cities, because it reminded him of the Ibex facilities, so he lived outside of the town in the wilderness, using a tent as his home and lived outside of a hiking backpack, with a day bag in addition if he had to carry stuff around. As he wandered through the trees, he couldn't help but think about his friends, and he wondered if they were still holding out hope that he was alive... |

Jackson Fenweh I Male I Straight/Taken I Mentions: Glory and Dia ind. Jackson wandered through the city. He hasn't shaved in days, hasn't showered either. He was wearing the same clothes had on weeks ago, he didn't even care anymore. He had gotten himself free somehow, away from his captors which had been able to capture him. He had been there for years, having scars all along his arms and torso now form years upon years of pain and torture. He just needed to get to his daughter, back to Glory. He loved them both so damn much, his heart yearned for them.
"$14.97." The voice interrupted his thoughts. He looked at the cashier and fumbled through his pockets to grab some cash. He gave the person $15 and grabbed the food he had bought while walking away. He grabbed the bread he had gotten and grabbed a slice, eating it hungrily. He sighed, rubbing his forehead. He didn't know where he was going. He had no contacts and Glory and his daughter. "Please Glory..." he whispered, a tear running down his cheek. |

Levushka and Lilith Mentions: Open
It's been tough years to get to where he's at, and he put his blood and sweat into making this city happen-literally. He was sitting down in his office and organizing a variety of papers. He sighs, his work done for the day, and he rises from his desk. Lev was getting ready to pack everything up; however, a knock came at the door, causing him to turn away to face the double doors to his office. "Come on. I'm finishing up now, so make it quick." He can't keep Nyx waiting, not wanting to get an earful from his wife. Especially with her being pregnant with his child. Stepping into the office was Lilith, the secretary he hired not too long ago. He turns around, approaching the windows that overlook the city that took years to build. He watches the mutant citizens for a bit, thinning his lips as he sees the statues of the original group members from 7 years ago, and his heart ached a bit. "Come, Lilith. We're going to the memorial statues." He says in a monotone voice, leaving his office and then building quickly yet steadily. Lilith is following behind him, her heels clicking against the tile floors. During those long years, he had many diplomatic meetings with all sorts of government officials-even the president. He had to get permission to build the city, which was an annoying process.
He could always fly, but he doesn't want his wings to tear this expensive suit of white and gold. Instead, he takes a black-tinted windowed car to get to that destination, and Lilith settles herself beside him. His eyes peer through the eyeholes of his mask, watching the various buildings go by. "Stop." The driver does so, Levushka climbing out and entering the flower shop to get a couple of flowers. Once again, he was off to visit the memorial statues. Strangely enough, he was hesitant to go there, and he was unsure as to why. With the car parked outside the park with the statues-Lilith and Levushka climb out and make their way to the memorials. Lev clenching the bundle of flowers, Lilith placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder, and two walks closer to the porcelain white statutes. Lev stops in front of his father's and mother's statues, separating the flowers from the bouquet. "I still miss you two every day," he whispers to both statues, then sets the individual flowers at the base of the stone figures. "I'm going to become a father soon. Dad. Mom." He chuckles to himself, "Strange. I know, but I'm sure it'll work out. If Nyx doesn't kill me, that is."
He stares at the other flowers that the citizens placed down at the statues out of respect for those who fought for their freedom, and he could feel a small smile forming behind his mask. Lilith clears her throat, getting Levushka's attention, "Don't forget to pick up Angel from school, sir." Hearing that, Lev nods his head, placing the rest of his flowers down at the base of the other statues. The two head back to the car, getting ready to pick up Angel from school.

Twins Nyx & Dakota || Mentions: Eachother "Don't....touch....me," a loud slap echoed, birds flying from their posts. "Ow!" The women pulled her hand back, and glared at the other women, "I was just making sure your alright. Jessum." The women looked identicle, besides minor features. One, their eyes were reversed in colors and one..was, a tad, pregnant. 7 months, and she was angry, hormonal, and a bitch..times by 10. "I am fine," the pregnant women hissed, crossed her arms over her chest, "Now, can we please go inside." "Nyx, you need fresh air! Can't be sitting on the couch for a week straight and think you won't be responsible for yourself and the child," Dakota shook her hand, pushing Nyx forward, forcing her to walk. Her sister glared, and sighed heavily, tiptoeing forward, groaning. Her muscles ached, and felt like the elephant of the house. For the past few months, they moved into the outskirts of a city in Nevada. It was a rather bland place, Boulder City. It was high populated, but they were rarely ever bothered and that was good enough for them. Just recently, the Ibex buildings were destroyed, burned to the ground, finally giving Nyx and Dakota the peace they deserved. They lived in a medium sized building, certainly not one they liked, they were planning on moving to California, building a placed somewhere nearby one of the major cities. But, that wasn't going to happen for a while.. unfortunately. After walking around aimlessly around their 3 acre backyard, Nyx walked over to one of the lawn chairs, plopping it down, hissing through her teeth as she held her arm around her stomach. "Damn it," she growled, rubbing her stomach. She didn't feel regret for getting pregnant, but at the same time, she didn't really know if she wanted a kid. Yeah, she did see this coming after everything, but again, never really prepared for it. She rubbed her the large belly, feeling a kick or two and wincing slightly. The child was growing fast, and it worried Nyx a bit. She remembered when she heard the news of Jac having children, but never really new any details. Was it painful? Was it torture? Was it worth it? She had many questions, but no one around really knew how to answer. "Soon. Soon will get you somewhere more..healthy," Dakota walked up, looking around with a slightly disgusted face. It wasn't a bad looking town, no, but it wasn't what they liked or preferred. She rubbed Nyx's shoulder, then patted it a few times. "Alright, we can head in." Glory || Mentions: Dia, Aztec Ah yes, wonderful, hot, California. How pleasent. At a small restaraunt in the city of Sacramento, a beautiful women was sitting at a small table, a young boy beside her, and a young girl with them. The young boy was clinging to Glory, his small arms wrapped around her, looking around frantically. "Oh your fine Aztec, shh," she ran her fingers through the child's hair, only having him dig his head deeper into her sweater. She clicked her tongue, and looked to the young girl, just when a waitress walked over. "Hello, welcome to Mindys Bakery. What may I get you?" Glory bit her lip for a moment, thinking of what to get. "Well, may I have a..." she looked down to the menu below her, sitting down in front of her elbows on the table, and looked back up, "May I have an unsorted half-dozen donuts, all filled please. Two apples juices, and a pack of small, rounded donuts?" The waitress wrote down what she had said, and nodded, "Yup, it'll be here in just a few." Glory took the young boy's fingers, wrapping them up in her palms, "Your ok sweety, your fine. You'll be eating shortly, ok?" The young boy looked up slowly, up to the women and nodded, "Yes mama." She smiled, and kissed him on the forehead, and looked back over to Dia, "Hey sweety. Anything you want more? Next time around, I can get you some more things if you'd like." |
