Malaki | Mentions: Cybele
Malaki left the stage and got a round of applause from the manager. "You got one hell of a voice Malaki. Keep it up and I'm sure someone will pick you up in time." They shook hands and Malaki dipped into a bathroom to take off the luchador mask. After leaving Mosh, Malaki saw that he had some time to kill, so he wandered around the streets for some time, eventually stopping by a flower shop to look at the different flowers. Thanks to the experiments, Malaki's sense of smell was heightened slightly, so the smells that can off of the flowers were more vibrant, making them a joy to sniff. He looked over and saw the girl behind the counter looking at him, probably so he didn't steal anything behind her back. Walking over to some other flowers, he found a lone rose, and couldn't help but think of himself with that rose. Eventually, his thoughts wandered back to his parents, who were killed shortly after he was in Ibex, no doubt by someone within the company so that he had nothing to go back to if he escaped. Picking up the rose, he walked over to the counter and said he was ready to make a purchase. He looked at the name tag and found that her name was Cybele. What an unique name she has. Cybele rang him up and he gave her the cash needed to buy the lone rose. Waving goodbye to her, Malaki slowly left the town as the sun began to set. He made his way back to his tent and placed the rose by a tree. Thinking some more about it, Malaki took off his shirt and looked up at the moon, feeling his body change as another of his abilities told hold: Lycanthropy. After finishing his transformation, Malaki walked over to the tree where the rose was and slowly carved the first letters of his parents into the tree, before making a little indentation into the tree itself to hold the rose. Satisfied with his work, Malaki stepped back and howled at the moon, in rememberance of his past life. Eventually, Malaki reverted back to his human form, put his shirt back on, crawled inside of the tent, and went to sleep, hoping to catch a few hours of sleep with a good nap.

Glory || Mentions: Dia, Aztec, Jackson

As the kids ate, and drank, Glory felt warmer inside. She never really knew how to take children, let alone two of them. "This is good. Thank you mom, I love you." Those words always seemed to make her feel better about her parenting skills but at the same time, oddly, it did slightly hurt. Why? She just didn't know. "Your welcome honey," she smiled, and kissed the side of Dias head, rubbing her back. "I hope we find a home soon," Dia spoke, and Glory sighed quietly, "Me too."

Aztec was gobbling everything up, and Glory caught him just in time so Dia and herself could have some. "Hey, hey. Easy killer," she grabbed his napkin that was covered in crumbles, picking it up, and wiping off his face. "But Mommaaaa," he grumbled, and grabbed his drink drinking it, sending small, teasing glares to his mother. She shook her head, and sighed, "Your sister and I need to eat as well," Glory said but Aztec wasn't phazed.

Glory took a donut as well, a glazed donut, which was beggining to become one of her favorite. Every bite she cherished, knowing they wouldn't be eating this for a while. Granted, Ibex was finally destroyed, but still... people. They were were all unpredictable, and selfish. If they found out about them- it would be pure hell for them. So, she kept them constantly moving. Back at the first fire, in the flames, she saw a glimpse of two girls, two whom looked identicle to one another, and herself. As she dug through her memories looking back, she knew they were her sisters, but she could feel that they didn't know who she was. She didn't even know their names..but, she had followed what seemed to be them, heading for Nevada. Thank god, the state was next store.

Glory finished up, wiping her face off with the napkin, and snatched a small, rounded donut, eating it in one bite. She wiped her face again, and brushed off her pants, and was about to sit up when she looked towards the window to see a man. She thought nothing of it until, she looked real close, and she nearly fell back. She held a hand around her neck, rubbing it, biting her lip slightly, her breathing speeding up. It can't be. Its been years...nearly a decade... 9 years. Jackson?- she could feel someone tugging on her sweater, and looked down to see it was Aztec. If that was him, what was he going to think? He doesn't know that- no, should he know? Maybe he shouldn't. Why can't I think?!

Jackson I I Mentions: Glory and Dia (Ind.)

Jackson stumbled along the street. He couldn't focus like usual, he felt lost and an overhwelming sadness. He thought back to the days where he flirted with every girl he came upon. It was fun, but it ended when he met Glory. He didn't care that it ended though, he loved Glory, he didn't care about any other girls. They didn't compare to her. He sighed, feeling sicker to his stomach as he assumed she had probably moved on. She probably just thought that he ran, not that he had been taken.

He didn't even know what his daughter thought, being left by another parent. That made him feel even worse. He ran a hand through his damp hair as he felt so sick at his situation. He should've better protected himself, fought harder, even though he fought as hard as he could. He didn't know what to do, that was it. He was lost, seperated from his family who he hadn't even seen in over 4 years. Was it even worth looking for them? Yes. What if he found another guy? At least he would know.

He walked down the sidewalk, too deep in his thoughts to look inside the window he was walking past. His shoulders were hunched and his eyes were staring down at the ground his feet were about to walk upon. He shook his head, hands clenching into fists as he was so conflicted. They relaxed a moment later as he let out a sigh.

Dia I I Mentions: Aztec, Glory and Jackson

Dia took another few doughnuts and finished her juice. She wiped her mouth and pulled her scarf up above her nose again. A smile played on her lips and she looked over at her mother. Her eyebrows came together as she saw Glory seeing something. She nervously looked at what her mother had seen that had shocked her. Her eyes grew wide as she saw the man. He didn't seem to see them in the window, but Dia had. She was frozen for a moment, well until she uttered a single word.

"Dad." She whispered, suddenly getting up and making a beeline for the exit to the place. She needed to get to her dad, she just needed him. She didn't care what her mother would say about her going after him in a moment.

Glory || Mentions: Dia, Jackson, Aztec

The man passed the window, and Glory confirmed it. Jackson was still alive- he looked so different... she looked down to Dia who barely spoke, running out. "Dia!" Glory hissed, and grabbed Aztec, by the hands, running after Dia, while Aztec was in tow. Crap, crap. Shit. The yoing boy was using no effort to run, so she grabbed him, hoisting him up in her arms, and ran after Dia. As the came up on the door, she reached out for Dia, grabbing the young girl's shirt, but lost grip as her fingers struggled to grab on. Her heart sank. If this wasn't Jackson... and Dia was to get hurt-. Glory would never forgive herself.

Dia I I Mentions: Aztec, Glory and Jackson
Dia felt her mother trying to grab her sweater, but she didn't care. She pushed open the door when her mom's grip slipped. She ran out the door and into the street, shaking with her terror, but also excitement. She looked around and spotted where he had gone. She ran there, finally seeing him and tears welling up in her eyes. She slowed down when she was about five feet away, tears running down her rosy freckled cheeks.
"Dad?" She asked, having an overhwelming fear suddenly that he wasn't who she thought, maybe it was another guy and he was dangerous. She didn't know, she was scared again.
Jackson I I Mentions: Glory and Dia
Jackson was stuck in his own thoughts until he heard footsteps running up behind him. He tensed, ready to use his powers and run away. When he heard the person say one word he spun around, staring into the eyes on his daughter. A grin spread across his face, he didn't even notice how she was older than when he left, he just didn't care. He closed the gap between them and bent down to wrap his arms around the girl.
"I love you so much." He whispered to her, rubbing her back as she started to cry against him. He had a few tears in his eyes too, he loved her so much and had been seperated for so long. He wasn't even looking behind Dia at Glory. He hadn't even realized she was there. He was too wrapped up in his shock and joy.

Glory || Mentions: Dia, Aztec, Jackson

When Dia ran across the road, Glory went into full panic mode. Cars, people, cars, people... it was a miracle that Dia wasn't struck by a vehicle or even kidnappes yet. But, she felt her world plummeting when she made contact with the man and she glared. She began to walk into the road, watching for vehicles, but keeping her eyes locked on them. She placed Aztec on the ground, holding him behind her, putting herself in front. If anything were to happen, she rather get hurt before letting her child get hurt. She walked forward, her eyes instantly changing to a bright yellow. "Get the fuck away from my child, or I swear to fucking god I will kill y-" she began with a menacing threat, her fists coiled. Slowly, she stopped, and her eyes widened again, to see. It really was Jackson... after all this time-it was really him.

Finley Neil Blake | Male | 26 | Ambi/Single | Apres-Gay/Demi-Gay | Nevada | Mentions; Open.

Finley woke up on the couch in his apartment. Immediately, he felt off… Well, as off as he could feel, given his distinct lack of intense emotions. Oh well. Still. He ‘felt’ off and checked the time. 2:42 PM. He was off of the couch within the second. He’d slept in. He was running behind schedule.

--

With a rush, he went over to the nearest window to check the weather outside. It was nice out, partially cloudy with a temperature around 70 degrees, probably. Though the wind was rather fast, it seemed. With that decidedly done, he closed the window. Then he added the blackout sheet for it so people can’t look inside, put up the interior bars(the exterior ones had stayed up overnight, luckily enough), and locked the window. Then he unlocked it. Then he locked it again. Then he jiggled it a bit to make sure it was locked. And then finally, he turned away from the window.

--

He went over to his front door, testing the five locks the same way he did the window. Then he went through his kitchen, making sure everything worked the way it was supposed to. He checked the stove twice to make sure it was off. Along with the oven. And the sink, mostly to make sure the faucets worked still with that though.

--

Finley made his way to the bathroom next, stepping inside and checking the faucets. Cold, working. Hot, working after fifteen seconds to wait for it to warm noticeably. He checked the tub as well, of course. Going through the motions of checking each room with a practiced ease that someone that had been doing it for years would have. For good reason too, as he had been doing these routines for years. After it all was done, he decided that everything was indeed safe for use.

--

With that in mind, he went back to the kitchen and took out his tea kettle, filling it with water and putting it on the stove to boil. Grabbing his stash of peppermint leaves, he went through the different options until he had 20 leaves chosen. For the rest of the time until the water boiled, he rubbed the leaves within his hands with idle thinking. His thoughts were slow to start, and held no true reason or emotion behind them. Much like always. He could only say for certain that the thoughts were ones he was very familiar with.

--

When the water finally boiled to his liking, he put the leaves into his cup and began the steeping process. He had once enjoyed the stronger flavor, but now… He simply steeped it for the longest recommended time through routine and muscle memory alone. Not any preference. He thought idly this was fine, his way of life and all it’s apathetic glory, though there wasn’t any emotion behind it. Just an old mantra he used to tell himself whenever he felt himself slipping in feeling. Now a simple husk of a comforting phrase that he thought through muscle memory, much like his tea steeping.

--

Finally with the tea done, Finley cleaned the tea kettle and put it right back into its place, checking the stove yet again. After that, he grabbed his newly made cup of peppermint tea and walked back to the place he had woken up not an hour earlier. The couch. He’d have to leave to go to work in around two hours, which was less time than he usually had, but given that he’d slept in by accident… It made sense.

--

He sat on the couch in silence for a moment, no thoughts going through his mind whatsoever. And then, the tingling started at the base of his neck, a thought beginning to crawl it’s way up. A memory, a memory so cruel it could cause physical pain, he was sure even if it had never reached that point before. And just like he always did in time with the tingling, he took a sip of his peppermint tea, allowing the strong taste of it to be the only thing he paid attention to for a moment. It didn’t matter if he were the only one in here, he’d rather not have a glance down memory lane today. Especially when it took more than an hour to get down from those and he didn’t have enough time to deal with it before he had to go to his night shift as a bartender.

--

Now though, he simply had to decide what he wanted to do with his time. He could stay inside, like he always did, or he could leave and find something to do for once. He thought that he’d decided to leave, just this once, but as he sat on the couch he made no move to get up. Routines die hard, and they die harder for him. Setting the cup of tea down onto the table nearby, he forced himself to push himself up.

--

He picked up his cup of peppermint tea again, and forced himself to drink the rest of it faster than he normally did going into the kitchen and cleaning the now empty cup. Once it was clean, he put it back into the cabinet and then forced his legs to take him to the front door. At least there weren’t any obstacles in his way, that would make breaking this routine a lot harder. For one, he’d have to clean his entire apartment. For two, he could trip and then he may not have the nerve to keep going.

--

But because the apartment was clean to perfection, he reached the front door. He forced his hands to go through the routine of unlocking the five locks. Unlock, lock, unlock. He opened the door and, grabbing his umbrella stationed by the front door, stepped outside. He turned towards the door shut behind him and went through the motion of locking it again. Lock, unlock, lock, jiggle the knob. He turned and opened the umbrella, taking his time going down the steps.

--

Now that he was outside, he wasn’t sure what to do at all. He could just take a stroll down the streets, he supposed. So he began to do just that, there really wasn’t much else he could think of to do. And anything he could think of, weren’t exactly things he could do right now.

Jackson I I Mentions: Glory and Dia
Jackson looked up from embracing his daughter and gently pulled away from her. He was staring at Glory, the woman he had been looking for. She still looked beautiful, even though they both seemed pretty discevled. He gently took Dia's hand as he walked over to Glory. He hadn't seen the child behind her, he was just staring at her. He walked over to her, grinning like a crazy person. He didn't pull her into a hug, he knew she was probably too nervous for that. He gently put his hand on her cheek, his caloused hand gently laying on her soft cheek.
"I've never stopped looking for you." He murmured, gaze softening as he looked at the woman. He had tears in his eyes along with his smile. "I still love you so much."

Glory || Mentions: Jackson, Dia, Aztec

Glory was still, and quiet. Her jaw was clenched, and she held back every tear, every word, every movement. As he walked towards her, her emotions wanted to burst, her clenched jaw shaking slightly. The shaking stopped when Jackson held his hand against her cheek, and cool feel the cold calouses along his skin. She couldn't believe it. After so long, he was really alive. "I've never stopped looking for you." His words struck her like daggers, and her eyes began to tear up, tears streaming down her cheeks. She couldn't speak, she wanted to hug him, kiss him, push him away and even smack him. So many feelings mixing with one another, not letting her choose a singular path. "I still love you so much," his words echoed, and she began to feel light headed. She kept it together, and stared into his eyes, her eyes shifting back into a calm, easy blue.

"For years... we searched for you. You never came up. We basically searched half the world for you," Glory looked down, gritting her teeth. "I thought you were dead, gone." She was quiet, stifling a few short, quiet sobs. She wiped her face, and looked at Jackson. "You asshat," she blurted and wrapped her arms around him, resting her head against him, now silently crying. Her body shook, her knees feeling as if they would collapse at any moment.

Behind her, Aztec didn't know what was going on. He didn't know who the man was, but by the likes of it, it could have been the man Glory used to talk about all the time. What was his name? Jack? Johnson? Or was it Jackson.. he never really paid attention, not caring to. He rather play games then listen to his mom talk about some stranger. She never really explained to him why they needed to find him, and how he was related to them. Every time she attempted to explain it, she became angry or sad. And at this moment, she was sad. Trying to be a good boy, he hugged his mothers side, wrapping his arms around her legs, to sort to hug her like how she was hugging the other guy.

Jackson I I Mentions: Glory, Aztec and Dia
Jackson felt pain in his heart as he heard that Glory had been looking for him for years. He as trying to think waht to say, but she hugged him suddenly. She wrapped her arms around him and he let go of Dia's hand to wrap his arms around her too, wanting to keep her safe.
"I searched for you too... rouge Ibex agents took me. I never would've left you darling." He told her, hugging her tighter. He felt Dia hug them too, but then he noticed a small boy hugging Glory. His heart dropped, she'd had a kid with someoen else. He pulled away slightly, studying the little boy as he hugged Glory. He tried to think, but came up with nothing. "Hi there." He said to the little boy, not noticing that he seemed to look like himself. "Glory, who's this little boy?" He asked Glory, looking at her as he gently took her hand. He didn't care if she had a child with another guy, he had jusr been shocked. But he never wanted her to think that he'd leave her, he loved her too much.
