los campesinos!, no, there is not.

There is the ADI, which gives out Public Access Tests but that is not recognizing that team / dog as a trained service animal.

Lucius, if you are in the US, there is no registry for service animals.

You may have paid a website but

A. Under the ADA, only dogs and miniature horses can be service animals.

B. There is no federally-recognized / accredited place giving out registration or certification for those papers.

I almost fell in that trap, lmao.

Like if someone he doesn't know catches him off guard and tries to touch his face he tries to get away first but if they keep going to his face, he will then give them a warning by showing his teeth I try to step in the second I see he is uncomfortable with someone and body block him advocate for his space.

All the service dogs I have groomed though have always been incredibly well tempered. You could poke them, get soap in their eyes, and they would still love you.

Humans are not dogs. Do not compare the two.

Service dogs need to function at an extremely high level whereas most humans can get by at a mediocre level. You can't have an aggressive dog as a service dog.

They might make a good guard dog though with a bit of training

I see ;-; it is understandable thou since their jobs are very important. I guess you can still keep him @Cypress Road, but get another dog as service dog if that's possible :3

And my partner had to go through a process to have her cat be recognized as a legitimate service animal as well.

im at least 90% sure there is certification for service animals in the us- at least for dogs.

I didn't actually see him bite the person and he was only ever showed signs of aggression when someone tries to randomly touch his face or enter his yard.

There isn't one organization that certifies, but I do, in fact, have a certificate identifying my dog as a service animal lol

I worked at a dog groomer before and they had us study dog psychology. Some dogs dont have the right personality to be service dogs. If theyre naturally skittish or defensive they arent going to make a good service dog.

So it is a stain in dog's resume like someone might have harder time finding a job if they did some stupid things when they were teenagers-like stealing from shop cause of dare?

Lucius, there is no certification for service animals in the United States.

0Written The Wolf, no, it is absolutely NOT passable. Service dogs cannot be protective of their handlers under any circumstances. There is no use for any dog even slightly inclined towards aggression in service dog training.

There is a reason the top breeds display no inclination for aggression.

Of course you can train them, but that dog will never be certified as a service animal.

Can't they be trained? If dog is agressive for no reason I get it why it's a problem in general, but if dog was put into situation it thoght it had to defend itself then it's more passable..? And can be trained to behave better in such instances

Good night and I think your dog will be fine, training takes time ^^

Cypress Road, if your dog has a bite history or poses any threat to the general public it cannot be a service dog.

So it isn't just a good chance, it is a 100% chance your dog cannot legally be a service dog if it's made a contact bite on a person.

Adrian O. || 22 || Male || Ace Gay || Werewolf || Newbie || M: Neco, Tori, Open

He yawned tiredly, his eyes drowsily taking in the view of the sun rising. It had been dark and he had closed his eyes for a few mere minutes to take a breath, as he had woken up restless at the crack of dawn. He was a night owl, no doubt about it. But since coming to terms with being a werewolf, however uncertain he still was, he had been having nightmares about being chased by midnight black wolf, with Ian being the height of the wolf’s knee. He could easily be stepped on, eaten, and his life could be taken away by the wolf with one movement.

Normally, he couldn’t have believed this stupid little dream, but since knowing he was a werewolf, he felt extremely confused. Too confused. He wanted to always ask the others for advice, but he didn’t know how to say it, and didn’t really want to bother them. There was also the case of the vampires apparently hating the werewolves to an incredible extent. Ian personally couldn’t pay any less attention to the rivalry. He was already focused on surviving life as a new werewolf, thank you very much.

The sounds of voices greeted the dawn, though he barely reacted, keeping his gaze set on the sun that had seemed to magically rise up and shine brightly on the clearing. He knew it wasn’t the safest for one to go wandering in darkness, especially in the woods, and alone, but seeing the sun rise and start a new day typically calmed him from his little, irritating night terrors that constantly haunted him. He never told anyone about them. Ian didn’t want to seem weak. Or vulnerable.

He sighed softly, the breath exhaling out from his mouth with a wistfulness of his previous life he would never go back to. He should probably head to where the others are. They might wonder where he is. Would they? He hoped they would. Hopefully.

Ian stood up slowly and turned around. His feet started finding their way towards the large house for the werewolves. The trek through the forest felt natural, with the leaves crackling alongside twigs and sticks. He began humming a little improvised tune, making his steps the beat for his song. Birds tweeted above as they started waking up to the sunlight and the sound of a musical man below them.

He approached the main house and made his way inside, sniffing the air lightly. There were three new werewolves, including himself. One was a young, teenage female. Ellie. The other was a male who was very much a werewolf. Neco, and Ian had heard that Neco could be baited by dog treats and dog toys. Adrian wasn’t necessarily amused by it, but he did like the taste of raw meat on rare occasions. Usually though, Adrian had human restraint, though he still had no filter on any of his words. He opened the door to the kitchen and promptly smacked himself in the head with it.

He cursed. Loudly. The sounds of voices crescendoed when the door unlocked, familiar and warm voices. The smell of breakfast being made accompanied the rich aroma and he inhaled deeply. Tori probably made the food. He started to take a step forward before tripping on some bastard’s foot and a… what was that? A rope? Collar?

Ah, Neco.

“Morning idiot,” was what came out, grumbled from the floor by the sprawled body that was Adrian.

Sylvester Harman | Vampire | Subordinate | Mentions: Cybele [ind], Kyran, Drey, Vivan [direct]

A morning was never Sylvester's favorite. Always trying to scrounge up the motivation to get ready for the day was the worst, in his opinion. He never truly wanted to roll out of bed, but here he was, a tired Sylvester slowly turning out of his messy bed. There was a pillow at the foot of the bed, another up top, and the one he had slept on. His comforter and blankets were wrinkled about on the plain bed, in which Sylvester had purposely avoided doing because he found it rather stupid to do it, just for everything to be messed up again.

Sighing softly, or rather more annoyed, Sylvester rolled out of bed, messing a cool hand through his mop of hair. Sylvester grumbled to himself before changing into his common clothing, soon making his way down towards the kitchen. He always had some sort of appetite in the morning, and right now, this had to have been the largest one he had had in quite some time.

Looking around for a moment, he spotted Kyran, Drey, and Vivian. He hummed to himself, giving himself space from the other three for a moment before moving past them. He glanced around, half-tempted to just go out and hunt himself, but he didn't. He didn't need to, and besides, why would Sylvester have the motivation for that? He scoffed softly to his own thoughts, his own racing thoughts, before looking in the fridge. "Ugh," he groaned, closing the fridge door.

"Fuck it," he grumbled. He looked up from the floor, looking at the other three. "Anyone need anything from town? About damn time we actually get good food in this God forsaken place," he offered, grabbing a mug out of the cabinet and pouring some coffee from the pot into it. He nodded towards Drey as he was the one who made it, after all. Sylvester could show some managers, surprisingly.

That's when he looked towards Vivian. Sylvester actually felt bad for the man. He had lost his wife to those werewolves, in which everyone mourned one way or another. Sylvester never really knew her to be honest, but seeing how little Vivian would come out of his room now was upsetting. Sylvester had been there - the not wanting to get out of bed, not eating, barely sleeping or just sleeping all day... it was exhausting, and just for doing nothing. It was because of different reasons, of course, but Sylvester never really liked talking about that. Who would listen anyway?

Sylvester's head turned as he heard Kyran cough. "You better be keeping you germs to yourself, defective," he announced towards him. Sylvester was then reminded of a defective's hunger for human blood. The vampires had managed to live off of animal blood for quite some time and to prevent any attraction towards them, but at times, Sylvester wished he could just be that animal he once was. As fucked up as that sounds.

"Where's Cybele?" Sylvester then asked, noticing she wasn't really around.
