Orden | Female | Half Blood, Border Collie Cross | Beta (Bravo) | 22 | M: All

Orden snapped her jaws as a figure came barreling into her, sending her body cracking against the icey ground. Her mechanical right leg caught the brunt of the impact, but she felt the fragile flesh of her left foreleg bend unnaturally, break, give way to the dagger - like shards of ice that flared upwards as her body shattered the thin sheet that coated the ground. Her face hit the ground as well, sharp shards stabbing into her head, as well as her eye. She released a strangled snarl of pain; perhaps the only indication she had shown in years of weakness. She bit back the flare of agony that rose on her entire right side, staggering upwards, facing her right side to the wall in an act of simple precautionary logic. She eyed her attacker, posture low, defensive.

She paused.

It was not Foxtrot dog. It was Pfiel. How dare he! While most chatted, conversed, Orden spent most of her time observing. She understood that Pfiel and Maze held a strong relationship; however, she didn't believe it possible for him to disobey. That.... it...

Orden balked a bit before regaining her usually whip smart, cunning mind. She darted forward, slashing a claw at his face with the swiftness of the howling wind. It was a light blow; only for the sake of testing where his true loyalties lie.

Beside her, Orden spotted Anfall slam her shoulder into Pfiel's flank as she lunged by; most likely on purpose, in a swift reaction to the situation. Orden could thank her for keeping her wit later. Anfall continued on towards Zadolt, her lithe figure darting through the melee. Orden saw the female lunge forward towards him, claws extended, the full extent of her wolf - like fury suddenly apparent. In this moment, Anfall appeared a demonic agent of terror. Orden knew that the wolf - blood disliked picking fights; but when provoked, wolf ancestory did tend to kick in.

fixed, to an extent. Y'all can post again :)

Maze | Female | Wolf Husky mix | Foxtrot | 33 | Mentions: Zadolt, Pfeil, Anfall, Orden

She was frozen with surprise when a large figure tackled her to the ground, but when she felt claws pierce the skin near her neck she yelped out of instinct: a loud high pitched sound of fear; fear was the one thing she never showed.

Her wolf blood took control and she tried to bite her attackers leg; her teeth bared with a feral snarl, but before her jaws landed on the dogs limb it was pushed off of her.
She jumped up without a second thought and whirled around looking for her attackers.

Her eyes locked on Anfall, a large and strong wolfblood, but she was slower than herself.
Before the female could attack and harm Zadolt she rushed forward and bit her tail, a quick nip before dodging to the side and pouncing towards Anfalls head; she knew wherever the head went, the body followed.
She tried to pin the larger female by digging her claws into her throat, the weakest and most fragile part; her teeth were bared in a dangerously deep snarl as she glared at the female. All she had to do was hold the wolfblood there long enough for her to be frozen.

Pfeil | Male | Doberman half blood | Bravo | 25 | Mentions: Anfall, Orden, Maze, Zadolt

He had ducked just in time so that all Ordens claw hit was his ear, ripping a bloody notch into it.
He had no idea what he was doing, his anger and protectivness had taken over all of his mind; his training, his orders, his regiment, none of that mattered, his only thought was defending Maze, nothing else mattered.

As he prepared to pounce on Orden, something unbalanced him as it hit his hindquarters.
He quickly regained his balance and turned back to Orden, his amber eyes narrowing as he took in the smaller female; then he pounced without warning.
His metal claws were stretched out, ready to rip anyone to shreds.
Pfeil snapped at Ordens ears and clawed at her chest; she had attacked Maze and she would pay, everyone would pay for harming his friend.

Zadolt | Male | Australian/German Shepherd mix | Foxtrot | 28 | Mentions: Maze, Orden, Anfall and Pfeil

As soon as Maze distracted Anfall, he rushed towards Orden and Pfeil. This time, he went for Orden first, knocking her legs out from under her again, making Pfeil miss without being aware of it. As soon as he finished he went and slammed into Pfeil’s side, his claws finding purchase in his shoulder.

His back legs sought a weak spot in the dogs stomache, but Pfeil’s back legs kept getting in his way. He wasn’t even aware of what he was doing; the attack was an automatic thing, combining with the fury in his head. He had no thoughts other than to attack; nothing else was thought of as he tried to wound them.

He only stopped when he realized his fangs were about to bite into Pfeil's throat; he jerked his head back, horrified, and scrambled off them. He backed away, shaking his head, trying to rid himself of the instinct to kill.

Orden | Female | Half Blood, Border Collie Cross | Beta (Bravo) | 22 | M: All

Orden had straightened slightly at the lack of his immediate attack. Her lungs heaved, chest gasping an each inhale. Her entire left side was bloodied from her shards of ice that had stabbed into her hide, although she remained with her wounded side facing the wall, so as not to reveal her weakness. Suddenly, Pfiel attacked.

It didn't make sense. But the intelligent female was able to draw some truth from his actions. He cared deeply for Maze. More loyal to a dog than his regiment, than to Beta; it was going to get him killed. Or, at the very least, earn him a mechanic limb.

Just like it did me.

Orden clamped her jaws down, eyes widening in a slight panic. The last time she placed her loyalites towards another dog rather than Beta, it got her closest friend killed. It also got her right foreleg literally severed from her body. She remembered the blood of that day, the sound of her friend's body as she hit the ground, lifeless eyes staring into Orden's soul, the slash of fangs across her elbow, her own scream.

I can't let that happen to him. Not anybody.

Claws slashed across her chest, and she fell backwards, ducking her head in anticipation for a well - timed blow. As almost always, she was correct. Jaws snapped at her ears. As her body hit the ground, she immediately reacted as planned, rolling to the right side so as not to further injure her wounds; however, it did reveal the exent of her injuries to her attacker. Weakness. But it was a matter of survival. Orden understood that her bloodied appearance would through him off guard, for even a second. She took advantage, whirling, biting back pain as the muscles across her left side fired into action. She slammed into him, hoping for a pin, just as Zadolt did the same. Yet Zadolt lunged for his throat, then jerked backwards, away. Orden pounced, taking advantage.

"Fool!" She snarled. "You can't do this! You are going to get her killed! You act as if I wouldn't understand." She lowered her voice, eyes flashing with a wary vulnerability. "You don't get it, do you? I understand why you're doing this. I get it. But how do you think my life was ripped away from me? How do you think that my right foreleg was cut from my body? Did it ever occur to you why I choose my regiment over other dogs? That I might have understood what would've happened had I not!?" She said, voice near frantic, on the edge of panic.

Anfall | Female | Wolf Blood, Alaskan Husky, Doberman, Wolf cross | Beta (Bravo) | 21 | M: All

A nip on the tail, and a forward lunge alerted Anfall that Maze was still up. Jaws closed around her throat, and unlike most, Anfall didn't panic. She remained at a state of an eerie calm; internally terrified, yes, but externally composed. The attack was quick, but Anfall was prepared. She had anticpated it. In her fall to the ground, she had tensed her muscles. So as her impact knocked the wind out of her lungs, she lunged back upwards with a sudden, coiled energy. She kicked the smaller dog off of her, dodging to the side so as to avoid the initial strike that Maze would inevitably inflict as she stumbled backwards.

The female flashed a snarl, leaping to the side yet again, long legs swift and and mind quick. She lunged for the shoulder, head down so as not to expose her throat, yet revealing part of her spine. It was bait. Just as she dipped her head so the back of her neck was in striking distance, she ducked away, clas slashing at where Maze's face should have been.

(thinking this may be the part where Anfall catches Maze's eyes)

Commander Hoffen of Foxtrot | #34 | Male | Schnauzer/Wolf cross | M: Maze, Anfall

Hoffen bounded toward the fighting, dark shapes coming into his line of vision. The metallic smell of blood assaulted his sensitive nose, and he slid to a stop, his hind-claws struggling to get a grip on the cold concrete. This was a training session, blood was not to be shed.

His head throbbed with pain as he attempted to throw himself between two snarling dogs, Maze from Foxtrot and a female he couldn't recognize in the fray. Careful to control the amount of force he put into his bite and wishing the "teeth" in his mechanical lower jaw hadn't been sharpened recently, Hoffen gripped who he thought was Maze by the scruff of her neck, and yanked her back with as much force as he could muster.

"Foxtrot!" He snarled, his brown eyes flashing with some unreadable emotion. What had happened to his regiment? BETA was turning them into creatures with no respect for other dogs. What was wrong with them?

"Foxtrot, have some dignity! There is no blood to be drawn! What are you doing? Back down!" His voice boomed over the clamor of the fighting, the mechanical implants amplifying his voice.

Pfeil | Male | Doberman half blood | Bravo | 25 | Mentions: Anfall, Orden, Maze, Zadolt

Pfeil's heart was racing, he heard the blood roaring in his ears, it was so loud that he almost didn't hear Ordens words.
He remembered the day he woke up with his mechanical legs; he was limping from the soreness and tripping over everything, even the flat surfaces, he had hated them, he did hate them; getting another mechanical part would be just as bad.
But the part where Orden said that he would get Maze killed was what pulled him back to his rational mind; she was right, Maze was a weakness that they would get rid of if this happened again.

He was going to give up when he heard a cry of pain, a cry from a voice he knew all to good.
Ordens words were forgotten, his eyes narrowed and he bit her leg, flipping her over on her wounded side; he left the female where she was and jumped to protect Maze but instead crashed with another dog; he heard a sickening snap as they crashed to the ground together; he recignized Zadolts scent right before his head erupted with pain and he grew dizzy; his vision blurred as he tried to get up and help Maze, but his muscles gave in and he fell down once more.

Zadolt | Male | Australian/German Shepherd mix | Foxtrot | 28 | Mentions: Maze, Orden, Anfall and Pfeil

He didn’t see it coming; he only realized what happened when he heard the sickening snap, and felt the pain. Without a second thought he he bolted; He didn’t know or care where he was going, only that he had to get away from the pain. But the pain followed him, hindered him until he collapsed.

When he finally had enough sense to look around, he had no idea where the others were. Tremours shook his body as he wildly searched for any land mark, anything familiar, yet he found none. He mentally scorned himself. What was he thinking, running away? He didn’t even stop to inspect what his hurting him. He quickly looked down and gave his left front leg a cursory glance; it looked so wrong, bending at the unnatural angle, that he couldn’t bare to look at it.

Ignoring the pain it caused him, he stood up and limped back the way he thought he came, not even putting his broken leg on the ground. He walked without thought, just continuing mindlessly in the direction he chose.

Maze | Female | Wolf Husky mix | Foxtrot | 33 | Mentions: Zadolt, Pfeil, Anfall, Orden, Hoffen

Anfall hadn't missed when she swiped at Maze; the black female was stunned, numbed with pain and fear.
The left side of her face was pain, she didn't feel it; she knew it. Her eye was clotted with blood, that was the only explenation of why she couldn't see through that eye. The only explenation.
Her heart raced as she braced for an attack that never came, she was ready for Anfall to pounce again, to finish the job, but instead her skruff was grabbed and she was pulled away by impossibly sharp teeth. The pain didn't register.
She didn't hear Hoffens words, she just recignized his tone of voice; his angry booming voice.

Maze had never felt like this, she'd always been quick enough to dodge any real attacks and blood wasn't allowed to be drawn in training, she'd never been wounded like this... but she'd heal; her eye was just blinded by all the blood; she was going to heal.

It took Maze a while to realize that the fighting had ended, to notice how her heart slowed and the adrenaline left her; it took her a while to notice that she was in pain, to notice the notches in the back of her neck, the blood dripping through her fur.
Even with the numbness going away Maze just stood there, staring at nothing with her clear eye.

Orden | Female | Half Blood, Border Collie Cross | Beta (Bravo) | 22 | M: All

He didn't listen. Of course he didn't. He was going to get himself hurt, Maze hurt, just like what had happened to her. It pained Orden to consider such a thing. Jaws closed around her lower left leg, tearing into muscle, and she was forced down onto her wounded side, head cracking against the ice. Her vision spun, blurred; a combination of her skull, and the searing pain that tore through the rest of her body as her cut, slashed side was further damaged.

She gasped slightly, staggering upwards, then grounding herself, staring in a vague, blank sort of way as she rushed to collect her mind. But her vision was foggy, and her body numb. She couldn't show weakness; she couldn't. Yet, she couldn't seem to function properly. Her mind cleared slightly, but the pain was still evident in her expression. She managed to muster something of a general apathetic face, but it was of little effect. One of her fellow regiment had attacked her. He was going to get killed for disobidence; or, most likely, Maze was going to get killed.

Anfall | Female | Wolf Blood, Alaskan Husky, Doberman, Wolf cross | Beta (Bravo) | 21 | M: All

Anfall staggered backwards as Hoffen dragged Maze back. The metallic tinge of blood was heavy in her maw, suffocating her throat, drowning her fangs. She had clamped her jaws down on her tongue, which was now bleeding. But the most horrifying sight was that of her claws. Her claws, bloodied. Her claws. Her claws that had slashed through flesh, muscle, her claws that had caught across Maze's eye.

What have I done?

She had just blinded Maze in one eye. Drawn blood.

I'm a monster.

Anfall could blame it on her wolf blood. She could, like so many others had done, but Anfall could never throw the fault to anyone but herself, on any occasion. It was her fault; all her fault. She swiveled her ears, dropping her hackles, lowering her head in a sign of non - aggression, yet not submission. Her breath was heavy. She dared raise her eyes to Maze.

"I'm sorry," she mouthed, thoroughly disgusted at herself. Hoffen's words rang true. Anfall had failed; she hadn't meant to harm Maze in such a severe way, of course, but she had been reckless. It was inexcusable, what she had done.
