Glacier-Alpha-M: Artemis and the rest of the gang

Glacier saw Artemis nod her a thank you and she nodded back a welcome as well. Her ears perked hearing Gold speak up and she quickened her pace. She walked on one side of Gold, listening as Artemis spoke, she couldn't help but smile. Artemis was always looking out for everyone. She watched Opal glide down and perch upon Artemis shoulder, it was how she knew just how frightened Artemis was. She hadn't noticed Gold tipping until it was too late but before she could even react Illusion had him back on his feet. She watched Illusion fall back and begin to talk with Gwendolyn. Her ears swiveled as she kept alert, the closer they got to whatever it was Artemis had found the more her fur stood on end.

Gwendolyn-Omega-M: Artemis, Opal, Illusion, Gold

Gwendolyn smiled to Artemis and her tail wagged a little in reassurance. "Do not worry, no matter what obstacle I face I shall overcome it." Her ears swiveled and her head turned to look at Gold as he said to hurry. She began walking letting Artemis go ahead of her since she knew where they were going. She looked to Artemis and gave a nod at her instructions. She smiled, Artemis was always selfless, thought of everyone else above herself. She remembered when they met, when they saved each other. She was so lost in her thoughts again she didn't notice Illusion set Gold on his feet again. It was only when Illusion had spoke to her that she was pulled from her thoughts. She hadn't realized that her fur had started to prickle or stand on end. She looked to Illusion as he asked where she had wandered off to. "I had thought it would be best to split up to look for Gold so I wandered off in my own direction. Then I realized I had gotten split up from the rest of you and when I saw you had found Gold I followed you guys for a while. Then Glacier and Artemis rejoined us too.." Her voice was low enough so only Illusion could hear her and what she said wasn't a total lie, she felt very confused. She really like Illusion but she also really like Artemis and Artemis liked Illusion also. The closer they got to where Artemis was taking them the more her fur stood on end, goosebumps riddled her skin underneath. Her step faltered and she looked to Illusion. "Do you feel that too..?" She asked quietly.

Glacier merely smiled at Artemis. "Do not be sorry, you are in the lead because you know where to go and what to look out for. It would not be wise for me to lead at this moment." If Glaciers fur wasn't standing on end before it was now. In a way it made her look like a giant fluff ball with scary teeth. She relaxed realizing that it was only Killjoy and Brecken. Once Artemis finished having her outburst she gently nuzzled Artemis. "Artemis, everything will be okay. Your not in this alone. We will all protect each other." Her ears swiveled constantly listening for any threat. This part of the forest much darker and fog was everywhere. After comforting Artemis she turned and answered Killjoys question. "Artemis had discovered something when scouting a few days ago. She came upon a den with wolves dead inside and strange lights all around. She asked me about it but as I have never been to these areas before I said we could Illusion since you were away. He mentioned to ask Gold who would know, but it seemed he didn't or at least didn't remember something like this. He told Artemis to lead us to the place she was talking about so we could evaluate the dangers of it and try figure out what it is. So here we are." She could hear Brecken, Illusion and Gwendolyn behind them and knew they were still safe.

Gwendolyn gave shook her head slightly. "No Illusion, it's not just you. It has gotten darker the farther we go into this place." She gave a start, her fur rising to it's full extent much like Illusions was. She swung around to snap at whatever was rushing up behind her. Stopping herself when she saw it was only Brecken, she relaxed although her fur didn't lay flat again. She began to explain what was going on. "Artemis had discovered something when scouting a few days ago. She told me about and I suggested we tell the Alphas. She said she had happened upon a den with wolves dead inside, and strange lights all around. When we found Glacier and asked her about it she said we should find Illusion and ask him. But he hadn't remembered anything like she was describing. He then mentioned to ask Gold who should know, since he has been living here a long time, but it seemed he didn't or at least didn't remember something like this.
