"We are settling in fine, how's your pack doing?" Killjoy asked and Shadow flicked an ear, "We are doing okay. Pups are kinda hard to keep track of. And we have loners that want the territory." Shadow responded before suddenly jerking to the side. A moment later, a net full of thorns dropped where he had been standing. He looked at it annoyed before saying, "Watch out for the thorns." He dragged the elk around the pile of thorns before continuing. "How is Illusion fitting in? I know we have had some trouble with him in the past." He asked, looking back at Killjoy.

"There's been a few problems with him, like starting fights, but other than that not many." Killjoy watched around for the thorns. He felt a shart pain in his paw, but he countined pulled the elk. "He's fitting in fine, I guess. I wouldn't be the one to ask." He laughed as he walked around another pile of thorns.

"Who are the loners?" He blinked at Shadow.

Shadow blinked over at Killjoy before saying gently but firmly, "It is not of your concern. They like to move in on the territory but before they stir up trouble, they meet the foxes. I've only seen retreating pelts so far and cackles at night." He frowned slightly before getting to the clearing. He pulled the elk to one side before sitting down. "They have gotten a bit bigger so watch out," Was all Shadow managed to tell Killjoy before three fur bundles streaked out of the den. Two pounced on him and the other one pounced on Killjoy. "What does elk taste like?" "Where's Flame?" "Who's this?" The questions flew as one pounced on his tail. He simply raised his head with an annoyed look, "I am not suited to be a father. Flame does way better with the pups," He said annoyed as a pup jumped off his back.

Killjoy laughed. He bent down.

"Hello. I'm Killjoy. How about instead of pouncing on Shadow, we go play?" He was crouched, looking into their eyes. He smiled warmly, and waited.

The pups squirmed giggling before bounding off. "And don't bother your mother!" Shadow called after them before shaking his head, "Pups." Getting up, he shook out his fur before saying, "Since we're here, you good with going on patrol with me? Lemon is out on patrol on the other side of town so I need to get the north side." He offered, walking towards one end of the clearing. He usually went alone but he doubted Seya was done with the pup yet and that the males could do anything to help.

Louvel slowly nodded, the cogs in his brain were slowly thinking. He took a sip of the clear and refreshing water . "After You followed the light,did you see You see a tunnel that smelled odd" Lou asked and then added "Sorry about the questions..". Louvel began lapping at the cool cold water.The sun was peeking behind clouds and a ray of sun in his back, making him feel warm but alert. There is something wrong here behind the scenes Louvel thought No it is probably your paranoia just try to relax.The only probably was he couldn't.

Artemis felt a crunch beneath her paws and she looked down. She gagged and walked away from the tunnel sensing accurately that she would die if she went near that tunnel. So she sat down and looked. She sniffed around. She sniffed again and caught Cali's scent so she started following it. She left the bones behind her and walked slowly following the scent.

Cali walked into the water cleaning the dirt and mud out of her fur. She sat there for a minute thinking about Lou's question, her front paw twitched. "I remember smelling it, it was a vile stench" Cali curled her lip in disgust, "but I saw the little light go in there and I followed it." She looked confused "I don't remember much after that, just little clips."

Killjoy smiled.

"Sure." He trotted after Shadow. "How's Lemon doing?" He sniffed at dried blood on the ground. It was from the elk. His ears went forward as he heard the birds.

Shadow shrugged, "I believe he is. I haven't seen him for a bit, he's always out hunting or patrolling." Shadow came upon the border before something rammed straight into his side. He twisted, seeing a large dog biting down on his shoulder before sinking his fangs into its neck. The dog released him with a yelp but he didn't release it. Instead he shook the dog before throwing it. It landed with a sickening crunch before another took its place. He could see one behind him and three now circling Killjoy. He leaped, landing squarely on one of the dogs in front of him, sinking his fangs into his throat before the other dog attacked him with a bark.
