Jasper's heart sank a little when Caelum pulled away. He laid down in the middle of the den with his eyes on her. He watched her for a moment before closing his eyes.

Caelum rolled onto her side, letting out a small puff of air before trying to fall asleep, but the pain of her leg slowly started to flood back in. She tried to get comfortable before jarring her leg and letting out a soft whimper, but eventually, she managed to fall into a light and uncomfortable sleep.

Jasper opened his eyes at the whimper. He shifted his head to look at Caelum better to see if she was ok. After a moment, he closed his eyes again and soon drifted off.

The morning came all too fast for Caelum, having the sun shine through the waterfall and straight into her eyes. She didn't want to wake up. She couldn't remember if the night before had been real or nothing but a dream, but either way; she had enjoyed herself. She tried to move, but the pain in her leg shot straight through her, so if it wasn't a dream, she definitely something to kill off the pain.

Jaspers eyes fluttered open. He got up and stretched before padding to the waterfall. Lapping at the water, he saw Caelum out the corner of his eye.

Caelum lifted her head to see Jasper, but instead of her normal smile of a greeting, she had the most pleading look in her eyes. Asking for help, and asking something to take away her pain once again. Even so, she tried to push a smile through, but it soon disappeared once again.

Jasper noticed Caelums pleading face. He padded over and laid down. He started to lick her wound hoping it would feel better.

Caelum smiled softly once Jasper had been there for a moment, having her wound feel a little less uncomfortable. "Thank you," she said softly, "it feels better now." She noted softly before pressing her muzzle into in neck.

"Your welcome." Jasper whispered softly. He smiled when she nuzzle him. He licked her wound a little more before resting his head on her back.

Caelum gave him a shy smile before looking curiously at him, "Jasper?" She whispered, "What happened yesterday?" She asked quietly before turning her head to look at him. It was clear thar she felt silly for asking but she just had ti know.
