Are you having a bad day? A bad week, even? Did something go wrong and you want someone to tell you those four magic words? Well, I'll happy say it: "it's gonna be okay". Tell me your worries and I will do my best to give some love. Want to chat to someone about your life? I will listen. Just looking for a little reassurance? I can do that too. Life doesn't always go right but a little positivity can go a long ways. If you want to dm me instead of posting on a public forum, that is A-Ok!

Hans Rosling is a Swedish doctor, academic, statistician and public speaker. Hans Rosling says global population will level off at about 11 billion by 2100. He gives four main reasons for his confidence. 1) As lifespans get longer, fertility rates will fall. 2) Better education for women's health will mean less children. 3) We're getting used to lower child mortality so the social pressures on have children will be a lot less. 4) Dr Rosling says that demographics show that as a planet, we've reached 'peak child'. He says that there are currently 2 billion children on the planet and that demographers do not expect that number to rise. Using his predictions and graphs, it is reassuring to see that although the population is much higher, we will have also adapted to it by then. Do not fear, Carrot. The future may look grim but there is hope. We are an adaptable species and will do what it takes to survive even if the task looks insurmountable at first.
