Hey! So I made a post a little bit ago trying to decide on some Pokemon games, and so I finally decided to buy Sword and Shield, so I didn't have to decide between the two. I was wondering if ya'll had any other tips, advice, or guidance that you think I should know before getting into it? I'd appreciate if ya'll fans wouldn't mind taking me under your wings!

Try to have a list of type matchups, strategy helps you in the long run! I also recommend grinding levels to go through gyms quickly. Dont main too heavily in one type since some gyms have moves suppereffective against the type you might main in. Rookidee is a good one to catch at the beginning since its final evolution becomes a steel/flying type, and getting a Roggenrolla worked out for me in the long run after i grinded for a while. The dynamax areas to get xp candy will be the easiest way to get levels! PM me if you need any more advice!
