I'm also confused about that

I was also a little confused because the alphas had said that both groups would meet at the river the next morning, and suddenly the wolves of the Gold pack were already waiting at the river, so I thought that they have made a time skip and it was already morning.

Wolves fell asleep. That is all I know.
