Actually it's plausible for Kahlia to be a biological daughter. She was just the first child she had as her first litter. And it's known that younger female has smaller litters - so she only had Kahlia in her first litter. And the following year she had Fen & Aloe - another small litter. And currently this would've been her biggest litter by having five pups but she lost two due to circumstances - so she only has three pups this time round.

I like that idea. It sounds more realistic and well sad of course. But Kahlia the overprotective older sister sounds fun portraying.
