How do they like to sleep
Xiomara likes to curl up in a cozy spot near a window, you will most likely find her under a pile of blankes. Its her way of feeling secure and comforted after a long day but if anyone was to ask her why she sleeps like that she would deny it and just say she was really cold.
Dagger loves his space and being able to strech his wings. He likes to sleep up high. It makes him feel really elegant and untouchable. As Dragons should be in his words. With a higher view of everything it makes it easier in the case of a threat he has the advantage. If he notices Xiomara can't sleep he won't sleep next to her but he will sleep close to her so shes not completely alone.
What type of dreams do they both have?
Her dreams often reflect her incesecurities and her fear of failing everyone especially her crew and Dagger. She is afraid that she might never bond with Dagger and so most of her her dreams are of her never bonding with him.
Dagger mainly has nightmares and doesn't really dream anymore. His nightmares are about his previous rider who unfortunately died. He is usually very grumpy the next morning.
Are they a night owl or early bird?
Xiomara is a night owl and despies getting up early. She likes the stillness of the night, when everything is just calm and peaceful. She feels more alive underneath the stars.
Dagger is an early bird, naturally alert and always eager to get ahead start on the day. He is always ready to take the day on and is always annoyed when it comes to waking up Xiomara because she refuses to wake up.
How easily do they fall asleep?
Her hidden fear and self-doubt keep her awake at night replaying moments she feels she let Dagger and her entire crew down. So it sometimes takes awhile for her to fall asleep.
Dagger is more pragmatic and can rest when he needs to. His gotten to the point that he can sleep in any situation. Since being paired with Xiomara he won't fall asleep till he knows shes a sleep.
Are they comfortable sleeping around other people?
Shes a little self-conscious when it comes to sleeping around others...especially her crew because she does not want to appear weak or vulnerable to them.
Dagger is confident and not fazed by sleeping around others. However he is watchful and ready to protect her if necessary. If that was to happen and she asked him he would mostly deny it and act like he didnt do anything.
Do they have a night time routine?
Checking Daggers wings all though its a hassle because he likes to mess with her when she checks them. After the hassle of a mission she likes to stargaze before bed.
Dagger likes to check everything is in order and still working with the ship before he goes to sleep.
How well do they function when they're tired?
Xiomara functions terribly when shes tired. Her clumsiness skyrockets.Shes more likely to overthink badly in this state and her focus is nonexistent. Shes just a hot mess when shes barely gotten any sleep.
Dagger tempor is short when really really tired but can still function his patience just wears really quickly. He can get snappy sometimes.
