Okay so Night Shade is right.

Anytime that "Panic" is presented as an option. You guys are allowed to respond out of order and react to things on your own. This is often how groups are split up. However if you want one of the other options, you can still respond out of order as long as you're clear on what you're doing. However rather than discussing, your charcter will follow the choice they made. So Astroya will be left behind if you all continue. If all of you stop Jari will stop, if more than one of you continue Jari will leave the rest behind because of confusing foot patterns.

However me presenting Moth with a choice ONLY allows Moth to respond out of order. This is just a weird case where they both happened at once

I'm sorry there's so many mechanics, especially when they're used for the first time I sometimes forget to explain them.

Would it help if I made a section somewhere with all the mechanics listed and explained and then announced them as they were happening so you can reference that page with the explanations? Maybe a whole other forum page where you could ask questions about them as well?
