Shouldn't be too long. @Spell, please gimme an opportunity for Serikornis to threaten Noelle's mother >:) She's absolutely going to disrespect Seriko because of his wing injury ugh, I hate her. Probably will accuse him of not being a good enough dragon for a rider of the Morgenstern family, and blame poor Noelle for the whole thing... - She's so well written, I loved your post Spell!

He does need a hug and therapy :,) His father wasn't as bad as his mom, sure his dad did have high expectations but he never was as harsh as his mom. He does want to be a Dragon Rider because of his dad, it's one of the few things him and his dad did together was study and anazlyze dragons because they were nerds. His mother is a whole another thing. She deemed the husband to be "weakening" the children. And let's just say she organized his mysterious death while he was out on a mission as a Rider. She was much harder and rigid with the kids being both emotionally and physically abusive and manipulative - so he thought the only way to escape her would be by doing something his father adored, being with dragons, but he can't even be happy at the moment about that. Also, his mom has a hard time marrying him to women because he's not interested in women, he's more interested in guys - but of course he'd never admit that to her, but most of his siblings know |

Noellë definitely not approving nor denying
But his mom is gonna die in the attack because why not, and his older sisters are off in different lands because of marriages, but I fear his brothers due to being in the military will perish . So in a way hell he the heir to nothing anymore
