If you customize and then use the dye, your customizations will stay and your wolf will have the updated dye :)

So do your design the way you want it but with a white base coat for example. Then apply that to your wolf. Then go to your wolf and use the dye for the exclusive base.

Yes, you have to pay for a basic pelt in the custom maker. And then apply the dye over it after you've customized.

there should be an option to apply the markings on top and keep the base pelt

You can't get exclusive pelts from the custom maker. You have to apply it with a dye after you customize the rest.

Yes you would still click create wolf as long as you have the wolf you want it added to picked out.

I was thinking about starting tomorrow, are we all good with that? I have a bunch to get done before we can start but I feel like it's okay to begin before all roles are filled since we have most full and it's reasonable that some late joiners could have their characters join late too, maybe a lost message or they had to think it over before accepting?
