I'm honestly thankful that your word count is what it is right now. It's large enough that I feel more inclined to push myself but not so big that I get overwhelmed. I tend to shut down if someone's replies are too large

I'm happy for that. I like to push myself as well. I usually join roleplays where they push me to match their styles. I have gotten so far doing that and they helped with writing more in my characters thoughts. I seen this roleplay helping roleplayers that wanna expand their word count and challenge themselves but be comfortable

I used to be able to do that, about four-five years ago 800-1000 was my average on forum roleplays. But then I got spoiled by teaching my friends how to roleplay through text, and a series of unfortunate events occured and I've just never been able to get back up there again. And then every roleplay that I read the plot for and seemed interested in, was literate or 300 word+ and I was like, "Yeah, no I cant hit that anymore"

I'm glad that you can do it. I also put 3+ sentences for myself with my phone. As I hate roleplaying on my phone and it gives me a way to be able to be comfortable if I write only a paragraph or little less. |
