IVE GOT IT. Morena's weak little foal will get snatched by coyotes during the night. The herd just finds her standing emotionlessly where she had last seen him, with just a haunted look off in the distance where the small outline of a bloody form can be seen.

Father Anil is gonna be the best fucking dad like he's kinda emotionally a wall, but he'll teach his kids anything, spend time with them, if they ask a question, no matter what it is, he'll try and answer it "Father, where's the best place to hit a stallion?"
