eeek, sorry y'all.
Work has been a tad busy. I've also just found out that uhhh, that the Navy wants to send me and one other guy in my department on yet another 9 month deployment. In a combat zone. As security. Like... prison guard, vehicle transport, etc. They're trying to see if anyone will volunteer, otherwise I will be forced to go wherever they want to send me. They aren't sure why they specifically put my name down on the list. My job is nowhere near the same thing as security. I'm just an aviation electrician mannn. I did do a year's worth of duty with my ship's security force, but that can't be why because the other dude was with the galley cleaning dishes n stuff for 6 months. He hasn't gone to security at all :'D |

Good gravy that sounds intense! I hope they find somebody else to fill the position who is more "experienced" in that field of work! I'm going to try and get a response out tonight but we'll see what happens! |

Thank you! I'm gonna try to not get all strung out about it just yet, since nothing is for sure confirmed yet- as the list just came out yesterday. I'll post an update whenever I find out some more! :>

I hope so too! While I did do my year's worth of security, I definitely wouldn't feel all too equipped to deal with being a prisoner guard or somethin' along those lines. I'm sure that they train people that get slated for the jobs with them, but lorddd, I don't wanna do more security training lol |
