That's a great idea! I bet Skylark would love having a tiny child to partly look after besides her sister.

Distance can be her friend! I'm not sure if Distance is the perfect fit for her - that will be up to you. To summarize his personality (so you don't have to go search for his bio) Distance's real name is Mullein, he used to be super outgoing and extroverted, but he was afraid of leaving camp and was also really fond of combat and fighting due to being really fast for his age. However, one of the few times he snukc out of camp with some juveniles, he saw the aftermath of a really horrific battle between two packs, where he noticed that some of the deceased wolves were his age. Ever since then he's stopped speaking at all (except to his parents) and was nicknamed Distance and regarded as mute. Over time, he also wiped his own memory of some details of the incident - like his brain is protecting itself from the horrors. I think Skylark being his friend could really help him come out of his shell and accept what happened. They could have a tacit understanding or something.

Well, it's decided then! After re-reading Skylark's bio, I realized that what might make Distance and Skylark able to bond with one of them not talking at all is the fact that Skylark seems to have really accurate intuition and can read situations well - at least, that's what I'm assuming since it states that if she senses something off, then she's most likely right. |
