I'd love some critique on this piece! Mainly on anatomy and shading. The lines were supposed to be messy.

Unfortunately, I can't say to much about the Pro program as I have only experienced the free Android program. Not sure how much difference there is, but I can give a few tips from my experience in the Android version.

For one, the Distort Transform tool has become my best friend ^^Whenever your sketching for your drawing and realize you have a proportion off, using the free select (Lasso tool) to select, lets say a leg thats too short, then using the distort transform tool can keep from a lot of headache of erasing and having to completly redraw again!

As far as anatomy tips
One of the best ways to improve anatomy is to study pictures of the thing you are trying to draw. Draw lots of practice sketching, starting with heavily referencing pictures for exact anatomy until you feel you got it down and then just some more sketching. try comparing the unreferenced sketches with photographs to help see how you did. This helps you with learning how the anatomy works. Sometimes it also helps when your drawing, to compare your finished sketch with photographs of the animal so you can see how well you are doing and help you make any necessary changes

I will add more later, as I need to poof, but hopefully, this helps some!

Heya, Dragon! Do you have any tips for Medibang Paint Pro? Shading, brushes, layering, anything related to the program? Some tips on animal anatomy and sketching, in general, won't hurt either. Thanks, hun!

im having trouble with wolf head anatomy...
the shape just doesn't seem realistic, and wrong. thanks again for doing this!

Hello again! ^^ Sorry about the delay in responding!

Wolf head anatomy is a tricky thing indeed, especially when trying to draw a different angle than profile!

Just looking at this art, Ill give you a few tips on the overall.

For the profile views, I keep noticing that your snout keeps slanting upwards after the bend in the forehead. The snout nose should not be higher than the lowest point in the bend from forehead to snout, therefore, try drawing the snout sloping downwards.
I love how you have the eyes and noses shapes down! Keep up the good work there!
In each of the three drawings, while your ear shapes are really good, I notice that they are placed a little too far forward. Ears typically are really close to the back of the skull. With them farther up, they make the head look shorter than they need be.
Also, the lips are a little odd in the front, the bottom jaw seems to be pushed back too far. When drawing the front of the snout, from the top of the nose to the bottom of the chin should be one relatively smooth, slanted line.

Sometimes it also helps when your drawing, to compare your finished sketch with photographs of the animal so you can see how well you are doing and help you make any necessary changes

xD thats alright! Im really busy in RL at the moment, so I understand :P

thanks for the help! I defiantly have to start using refs for wolves, I haven't had as much practice drawing them as I have other things.

Hey there! So...two things xD

For this one I'd just like some overall critique and tips please ^-^
https://s22.postimg.cc/ltnv26841/IMG_0147.jpg

Now, I know this one is absolutely terrible anatomy-wise xD, but I was wondering if I could get some tips on the shading, if that makes sense.
