Okay so, not sure how to word this. But I have a series of theories about the WP community that all kinda go together, so Ima make three polls to gather data and see if my theories are correct or incorrect. I'll link the other two at the bottom of this post! Please comment your thoughts on this theory and if you've noticed other things as well! Okay, so, I was just going through the art side of the forums, and took a look at Collar's Adopts (Collar's Adopts ) and I noticed he does designs (absolutely adore his art style) but I noticed, especially on the last two on the latest batch, the designs themselves aren't all that complex. (Now I'm not counting the double heads/tails or edits to the base such as the skeleton ones or the chain ones.) And yet, they pretty easily sell for 6+ apples. I also took note that he doesn't do any shading on these adopts. Meanwhile I've done some designs that are just as complex with shading, and yet I have a hard time selling them for even 100 mush. And like I said, I don't know how to word it but I found that as an interesting observation that now that I'm typing it out, I realized translates to real word things like Gucci and smaller businesses. The larger, more well known brands, or in this case people, can sell their designs for higher just because they're more sought after. And I wish I could partner with another, more well known artist to test that theory.
