I think the bounty will auto-complete with a pop-up like other quests. I don't know because I'm supposed to be hunting Harley not Baird, but I haven't found him yet

They just show up and you battle them like any other creature. I've killed two Bairds but I think my wolves ate one or it got stolen. This is one from my food stash

Unless you're a premium user you'll have to coordinate with the user you want to give the wolf to and don't put it up for sale until they're online and ready to take it, otherwise someone else would probably buy it themselves(which is perfectly fine for them to do) if you put it up before the intended user is actually ready for it.

If you're a premium user you can put it up for the user through private sale
