| You smell something strong. Peering through the bushes you see two campers fishing. They have a bag of bait fish near them. Your mouth waters. Grab | Adult feels particularly bold and composed. They inch forward until they grab the bait bag and take off! Pup watches Adult and wants to try next time. They learn and gain composure +(1-3). |
| You hear thrashing in the bushes. Carefully you approach the sound. There appears to be a Nutria caught in a trap! Just then you also hear sounds on the water like something is approaching. Do you grab the Nutria or flee? | (adult wolf) keeps composed and wrenches the Nutria out of the trap, killing it. Quickly the pack disappears into the brush with their prize. (pup wolf) watches (adult wolf) grab the Nutria. They feel bold and gain composure + (1-3) |
Jungle
| Your wolves come across a rotted log. There is a sweet smell in the air. They sniff about and discover the log is full of honey comb! However, there are also a swarm of bees guarding it. Will you attempt to steal the honey? | (Adult wolf) treads carefully up to the log. They delicately lift out a bit of honey comb, then dash into the forest. Their composure has paid off!

Stealth Encounters
~~~
Stealth encounters are universal across all terrains. Your wolves will find a scent trail, and if you follow it your pups have a chance to earn stealth CP. They will gain 0-3 CP each time you successfully follow the trail. Your wolves must have stealth CP to successfully track prey. The encounter will appear as follows:

Swamp

Jungle
| Your wolves hear a commotion up ahead. They silently peer through the bushes. A small flock of ravens have gathered around some carrion and are feasting. A raven might make a nice snack. Will you try to snatch one? | |

In all terrains, wolves can avoid quicksand. This is not an encounter you interact with, it simply happens when you stumble across the tile. If an adult avoids the quicksand successfully, the pup has a chance at earning 1-3 wisdom. The text is as follows:
"Pup watches Adult avoid the quicksand and gains wisdom +(1-3)"
Swamp
| You alertly hear a noise up ahead. Peering through the brush you notice a Momma Boar with a bunch of piglets. They swarm arounf their mother making faint grunting sounds. Are you wise enough to catch one for dinner? Stalk | Adult knows how to catch these. They single out a piglet from the others and pounce, killing it instantly. Pup watches Adult catch the piglet. They learn and gain wisdom +(1-3). |

Agility Encounters

All Terrains have the option to fish, they start similarly to this: Your wolves see clear water here. There are numerous (fish, changes depending on realm) swimming about. Care to try your paw at fishing? If you click fish, then this happens:
'(adult wolf) stares at the water for a moment, then thrusts a paw in, and flips a fish out. This will make a nice snack'
(pup) watches (adult wolf) catch the fish. They practice swiping at the water and gain agility + (1-3)
Forest
| (adult wolf) quickly steals the squirrel. The trap springs closed but doesn't catch them. | (pup) watches (adult wolf) steal the squirrel. They jump around spryly and gain agility + (1.3) |
Swamp
| You hear a buzzing sound. Looking around, you see a group of dragonflies flittering around some cat tails. These might make a good snack. Chase | Adult leaps about snapping at the dragonflies. They are agile and snag one, chomping it with a satisfying crunch. They have gained hunger +5. Pup watches adult and jumps around pouncing on leaves. They learn and gain agility +(1-3). |
Desert
| There is a ruckus up ahead. Your wolves carefully approach and see it is Montak! He is overloaded with antiques that he is taking to his den. He keeps dropping stuff and cussing under his breath. Will you offer to help? | Your wolves pick up the dropped antiques and carry them for Montak. Once back at his den, he is so thankful for the help that he gives you an item. (pup) observes the wolves helping and they learn it is good to help others. They gain agility +2. |
Desert
| Your wolves sniff around the bushes as they scent a curious smell. As they round the corner they stumble upon a rattlesnake. It menacingly shakes it rattle and coils ready to strike. Are you agile enough to avoid the strike? | |

Social Encounters

For your pup to earn social CP, you MUST be premium! This is gained by befriending familiars, which are found in all terrains. When you encounter a familiar, you will need to select "Befriend" and if it is successful there is a chance of your pup earning 1-3 social CP. The text will appear as follows:

| Your wolves stumble upon a Rhea sitting on a nest. Your mouth waters at the though of fresh eggs. Will you wait for the opportunity to steal some? | After a long wait, the Rhea leaves the nest to get a drink. Your wolves rush in and grab some eggs.
