I didn't really know what to call this, but basically this thread is for conducting experiments and research on explore and battle mechanics to make discoveries on behalf of the WP community! Founded by devine and I, however anyone is welcome to add their data or propose experiment topics. More simply put we fu-- mess around and find out. Ongoing experiments: 1. Composure - its importance to battle Future experiments: 1. Perception, its effect on finding prey in explore 2. Perception vs luck, which is better for relics 3. Wolf Party - percentage breakdown of prizes Edited at June 15, 2022 02:25 PM by Enigma

Findings: - Wolves who have greater BE scores are named more in encounters. This is overridden in the case of one wolf having a significantly higher score in the CP field that the encounter relies on. -Wolves can be entered into PvP while in labor. -Positive vitals give a boost to not only damage, but ALL CP field-reliant encounters/chances in explore during natural disasters. -A wolf with composure has a significant boost to battling (more likely to hit/dodge) -It takes only a little extra time to train two wolves at the same time, instead of just one Edited at September 8, 2022 05:58 PM by Enigma

My mini expirement in both runs have so far been consistent that composure does appear to impact the percentage your wolf will hit enemies in explore, but in wolves with similar resolve, it's not a large impact. Wolves with higher BE also typically find mush more often in explore, but the amount seems to be random. This also applies for relics. I also double checked the differences in the average amount of mush you find in each biome, per 400 tiles. This may vary depending on your wolves' BE and stats. Ranked from most mush found to least, these are; -Mountains(Avg 70) -Swamp(Avg 66) -Tundra(Avg 61) -Desert(Avg 60) -Jungle(Avg 58) -Forest(Avg 38) will update for relics soon Edited at June 1, 2022 09:11 PM by devine

So does composure actually have an effect in battle? I know agility, battle, and resolve do but I thought those were the only ones.
