Vah, are you sure about this? No. But here we go.
------------ OVERVIEW: In the dusty stretches of the deserts of New Mexico, rests a hidden town. Despite the rustic nature of the town, it's silent. Everything has been recently made from the homes, to the cars, to the roads. It's all brand new. But small.
The town, in and of itself, can maybe fit 50 ish people at its maximum and clearly wasn't meant for many residents at all. Despite the dusty surroundings, the grass is green, the trees are full and lush. There are fountains in the town square that bubble night and day. It seems like a small oasis out in the desert. ----------- But all is never what it seems. We all know that. This brand new town, a settlement really, has been made in light of a relocation plan. A relocation of the creatures, not people, creatures that have "infiltrated" the normal population. The government never lets them group in more than 50 or so people. Thus the small town (and there are probably many, many others around the entire country but for now we focus on this one). You (or your characters) have been sent to this lovely little town (for free) since you are one of them. A creature. A creature is someone who has been "blessed" or born with an ability. This ranges from shapeshifting, to pryokinesis, telekinesis and many other abilities (literally go wild just not OP) which, obviously, the rest of the population is not "blessed" with. The notice you received before you were relocated went as follows; "Congratulations, [name]! You have been selected to reside (at no cost) in a new budding town for those who are like you. We hope that the introduction of these towns and new residences will help build your culture and provide a safe place for you to reside and enjoy life."
It totally wasn't so that they could get rid of the creatures and freaks that infiltrated the normal people. But that's for us (not the characters) to know. |

Job: Restaurant Manager Ability Description: Shape-shifter! Xevon can shape shift into a unicorn. The only other abilities given from said Unicorn, is Shapeshifting into a unicorn centaur. Not too exciting but it's there. Appearance:
Xevon's first tip that he isn't actually normal at all is his eyes. But those are framed by soft dark brown hair, warm skin and a gentle expression. His eyes, a ruby red color, pop out from his face which has some gentle soft freckles. He stands a good 6'2" with a relatively sturdy build. Xevon tends to wear more business casual in his everyday wear. Jeans, and polo shirts. His grey shirts often come from where he worked and now he just wears them without his badge. They're good shirts. His unicorn form is the same dark color as his hair with soft cream speckles in a dappled pattern, socks and some fading on his nose. Xevon is very much down-to-earth but will make jokes and try to be fun with most situations. He doesn't get stressed out or nervous when in pressure, he ran a restaurant. But his patience is a bit thin when it comes to whining and complaining about things that can't be helped, he will snap at that. He is far more spooked in unicorn and centaur form. Other About:

Job: General Store Employee Ability Description: Dimensioanl Storage. He can store anything in an extra empty dimension and take it out at will. He kinda just bubbles it away, with his signature color being purple. Appearance: Callix is a very tall and slender bean stalk of a boy. You can almost see his ribs through his pale translucent skin. He has thin brown eyes surrounded by the thin wire frames of his glasses. Due to his heritage of both Japanese and a mutt mix of European ethnicties he has olive-yellow undertones, paired with the perpetual brown bags under his eyes and the quiet expression he can look quite guant. he has an uneven mop of black stringy hair that sweeps the top of his ears and glasses. Cal tends to wear a beanie, oversized T-shirt and baggy jeans or sweat pants if hes feeling lazy, alwasy paired with some simple sneakers. Personality: My little Cal-Pal tends to have a very even expression on his face, not bored or angry just calm and unassuming. He doesn't go out of his way to smile or act overly friendly but hes always willing to help. When you do get to know Callix he is very caring if not constantly worried. Lunar Manipulation
This is a multi-faceted ability that has the potiental to be overpowered, but is tempered greatly by physical constraints such as energy level and amount of sleep, and by the waxing and waning of the moon itself. The peak of his abilities' power is the day before the full moon, full moon, and the day directly after. All examples given are in the best case scenario.
*Lunar Healing*
Solaris can heal himself and others who are in need of it. Regularly, he can reliably heal small cuts and nicks that are gained in everyday life, as well as slightly larger ones obtained from an accident such as a mishandling of a sharp object, however it has to be quite small in order for it to heal completely. As the full moon's phase comes closer, his healing capability increases, to healing what would be deemed medium-sized wounds, ones that may need stitches and a small while to heal; with the full moon itself boosting the power so that he can could heal major injuries and even broken bones, ones that could very well be fatal if not given treatment quickly; and the phase after the full moon noticeably less powerful than the two days before, but stronger than normal. Exposure to the moon's light during these three days will bolster his healing ability, making it easier and less strenous on himself to heal. It is only preformed if the wound is of the utmost importance and has to be healed quickly.
The drawback of healing, despite it being his most commonly ultilized ability, is that it is quite draining on his energy, especially when it comes to the larger wounds. If he attempts to heal too much too fast, then he will likely pass out for good amount of time, spanning several hours to even a day or more depending on what his previous energy level was like and how much he tried to do. This makes it a valuable one that he needs to use judgement in order to treat those worse off first, or partially heal so that it is not actively life-threatening.
*Gravity Manipulation*
To a limited extent, Solaris can manipulate the gravity of living creatures and objects alike. This is a rarely used aspect of his powers, as it is more complicated for him to use and it is perhaps the most draining on him, physically and mentally. Normally, he can alter gravity minorly, making small objects float when they shouldn't and lighten heavier loads so that they are lighter than before.
In the lead up to the full moon, this strengthens so that he can actively lighten or weigh down more things at one time, depending on the weight of said things, it can span from as many as fifteen to as low as four. The full moon brings the peak of his strength, elevating his gravity manipulation to the point that if he were not limited by his body's needs, he could theoretically lift buildings from their foundations. The winding down period of the day and night after, lower his power level to an in-between of the day before the full moon and his regular capability.
It is far too easy for Solaris to underestimate how hard it would be to lighten something or weigh it down, his energy can drain so fast and he doesn't realize it until his legs are buckling and sending him to the ground. He is not often convinced to use gravity manipulation, for he is still unsure of how far he can push before bringing consequences upon himself. There is a part of him that is intimidated, scared, by the capability he holds in this aspect and that could contribute to the lack of experimentation with it.
*Sky Reversal*
An aspect that almost seems out of place within his other two abilities, it seems to only exist for dramatic or showy purposes. Nevertheless, he can essentially reverse the night sky, flipping back through thousands of nights like one would page back to a previous part in a book. In normal circumstances this would only apply to the stars he was under, the general area would change but the sky worldwide would stay the same. Not even the leading up day to the moon's fullest phase can increase this ability too much, it is only the full moon that gives him the power to fully reverse the sky, on those nights, he can change and reverse the stars and constellations and everything on such a scale that everybody in the world would be able to see it happen.
This is a useless ability, unlike the healing, and the purpose of it is unknown. He does not use it often, but unlike the gravity manipualtion, he has no problems with utilizing it if he is asked to provide a demonstration.
Appearance:
Solaris is of more average height, being that he is five feet nine inches (5'9") and not being too tall nor too short, around the typical height with a tad of give or take being done depending on the people he is currently around. While he is mostly content with his current height, and knowing that he is not going to be gett any taller naturally, he does sometimes wish he was a bit taller; in that vague kind of manner most think of. Mostly in relation to an object he is trying to reach just being barely more than a finger length away, yet still unable to gain that tiny bit more to be able to grab it.
The young man's build can be described as "athletic". His build is far from bulky and is not overly muscular, but is more toned than a thinner and lighter build; it is more in between being considered slender or muscular, with his frame leaning slightly to the more slender side. He has muscles on him, but they are not noticeable unless he goes and takes his shirt or something off; he is stronger than someone built for speed and agility than strength, and he can match someone in a physical fight, but he is not the strongest person around and is still able to be overpowered by those with more sturdy builds that are more intended for brute strength and durability. One could say that he is balanced in terms of physical feats, he has a slenderness about him that make him and his musculature more sleeker, more in the manner of a wild feline; he is suited to strength and endurance, and speed and agility as well. He can keep pace with the group when running and can resort to physical means if necessary and have the strength to back it up, but he is still outrun by those smaller and lighter and still overpowered by those stronger than he is.
Solaris has dark hair, the short strands being an inky black in color, a nearly absolute black that doesn't give off the typical tint or edging of dark brown that can be seen in most with the darker color of hair. The shadowy coloring is quite the sharp contrast with his paler skin, which is more of a fair shade with cool undertones that make his skin look even more paler and chillier, and it is not exactly a bad looking contrast, more of an interestingly attractive type. This young man most often wears his hair short, no longer than the bottom of his earlobes; and as of right now, his straight hair is about three inches long and brushing the top of his ears.
As for his eyes, the young man's irises are a clear gray in color. The shade between dark and light that is the typical shade one thinks of when thinking about the color gray; it is a stormy color, the color of rainclouds overhead and the color of the steel that composes a sword.
Personality:
There are some people that seem to be live wires in terms of personality, and there are some that seem to be unshakable, Solaris is the latter of the two. He is a very calm person, his natural demeanor isn't meant to be fierce and blazing like a flame or energetic and attention-grabbing like light, if one were to symbolize him by an element, then perhaps earth would be a apt similie. Or, for an obvious one, the moon. Anyone who meets him can immediately register the calm manner he has, the way how he acts and the vibe he gives off; which can only be described as "chill". It seems as if nothing can really faze him enough to break that calm demeanor, like he is the eye of the storm, nothing can get through to him to really affect him. Of course that is false, he is not always collected to that degree, and situations can affect him enough to show it.
Solaris is a person who prefers to keep quiet until he needs to speak up, this can be as simple as pointing out a flaw in a plan or having to relay or give his orders to allies, or even conversing with someone about a topic. He is not someone that talks others' ears off about trivial matters, or about any kind of thing, but he is not aloof in a group setting, he can and will be drawn into a conversation and he will engage in it wholeheartedly. It is who he is, someone who can hang back and listen and gather information about the current situation, and then speaking his piece; or someone who chooses not to engage at all and is forgotten by others in a social setting, then appearing seemingly out of nowhere to pipe in and then disappear again. This aspect fits in quite well with the collected air he gives off, and it even seems to add to it.
This young man is decently friendly when interacting with other people, especially those he does not know or trust. He will answer direct questions and may willingly give his imput or opinion, he will be polite and not unfriendly, but something about his bearing in this situation is not wholly warm and friendly either. It seems as if there's a part of him holding back, not being entirely forward, and it can come off as reserved or being politely unfriendly. The latter of which is more closer to what he does, though he is more like a mix of the two; he does not want to outright tell someone that he does not want to talk to them, and most often does the best he can in an interaction, even when he does not feel like talking at the moment.
He has trouble expressing emotions in front of people, he's so used to being seen as calm and also having a more steady demeanor with other people, that it can take a lot to get him to show his true feelings. When it's just him, he has absolutely no trouble; he will growl or hiss under his breath when frustrated or giggle if he saw or read something that struck him as funny, or jump if startled by a sound. But when it comes to being with other people, unless he is very comfortable with them, it can be hard for him to even smile without thinking about it. While it can be seen as a good thing, this is mostly beyond frustrating to him. After all, he does want to be able to show how he's feeling more easily, around people he's comfortable with of course, he still wouldn't want to be an open book to strangers.
Another more negative thing about Solaris, which is something good or bad that depends on situation and personal views, is that he finds it quite easy to lie. He has no idea where he even picked it up, neither of his parents really encouraged that, but yet he finds lying almost as easy and natural as simply breathing. There have been a few times in his life where he had been busy with a chore and a friend or someone asks him something, and out slips a lie without him realizing it. Obviously this aspect is not usually seen as a good thing, and it has gotten him into a bit of trouble in the past too, with the smaller, inconsequential fibs; but they were distortions of the truth nonetheless, whether on purpose or accident.
Other About:
-In-universe, his last name is a holdover from older times, when his ancestors carried the description of Starweaver. In reality (aka real-life), it is because Solaris was created for a fantasy RP and I didn't want to change it.
-He has been told that he looks slightly different under the light of the moon, a little less earthly than he should look, more like a faerie under the silvery light of the moon. However it is not any true change, and more of a perception thing, with people knowing about his abilities just thinking he looks a bit eerie with the moonlight on him.
-He loves animals, especially dogs, the larger and medium breeds. He's a afraid he'll just accidentally step on the small dogs and animals.
-Solaris is actively learning what he needs to know to become an astronomer, mostly digitally.

Depending on inspiration, time, and the general RP, I usually write long responses and describe a lot. Unfortunately, I have not been in many forum RPs lately, so I can't give too many examples of a recent one, most of mine have been in PMs. I reliably go above 600 words, and I can easily get over a thousand words. I could likely be called literate, though I'm usually found in semi-lit RPs.
Side-Characters:
I don't do a lot of side-characters, and haven't done them too much. I can probably play NPCs well, if I have information about them. Not much experience in either part, but I can probably do a good job.
Other:
-I'm looking to become an assistant dog groomer as a first job, or hoping to become one fairly soon after working. And I would like to have a job in 3D animation, or space-related.
-I have like six dogs, and am training the latest one.
-For some reason, my best writing has been fandom-based or directly fandom-related. I think it's because I do better when I have an established timeline and can take some creative liberties (when I'm writing for myself).
