For thousands of years, a terrible war ravaged the land of Aeternum, reducing everything to waste. The war had gone on for so long, in fact, that many forgot the original purpose of such hatred between all of the many gods who walked and watched over the world. Every day turned into a battle for survival, where the strong suppressed and subjected the weak and the rest toiled and struggled helplessly as their land was reduced to ashen grey. Every new creation, sense of life, attempt at rejuvenation destroyed in the chaos of the war between the gods. It wasn't until the thousandth year that finally, finally, when nothing was left but 8 gods and a few remaining, suffering survivors, the remaining 8 decided to try and attempt to make amends and stop the needlessly stupid bloodshed. The original world they had all tried to coexist in was beyond saving, and with nothing left living but those who cried out for relief, they had all come to a consensus to scrap the miserable planet and try making a brand new world. Things shall turn out quite a bit differently this time though. With one gods proposal and agreement from the others, they have agreed to instead treat this new place as a team building exercise instead of desperate, isolated projects that would eventually lead to conflict again. All of the 8 would have to try and work together to create the new beings, the way the world worked, and how much interference they have in the order of this new world. However, with tensions and bitter feelings still harbored against one another, understandibly with the death of millions of your people by the hands of some of these very gods, things may not go as smoothly. Will they succeed in creating peace on their second chance, or will history repeat itself and all reduce itself back to ruin? |

While all gods are diverse in appearance, personality, and abilities, they do share some commonalities - W E A K N E S S E S - Attuned to the World - All gods emotions tend to run high when the world is suffering a great amount. In layman terms, dying. The oldest gods have chalked this up to the world's last ditch effort of saving itself: getting it's creators to act - S T R E N G T H S - - Gods can kill gods, gods can kill mortals, but it's almost impossible for a mortal to kill a god - Almost. While it was an undeniable fact within the old world that gods were very powerful and durable beings, that's not to say they are invincible. It's very hard to hurt them, sure, regardless of sex, height, weight, strength, if you're a bodybuilder, eat healthy, or even have the conviction, but there's been one or two exceptions to this belief - Less susceptible to disease - It's very hard for a god to get sick, no matter the mutation or how rampant said sickness has been spreading to the people. Even the common cold is rare for the likes of these Deities - P O W E R S - Faith boosts a god's capabilities - The more people they have who follow them for any reason, good or bad, malicious or pure, the more powerful a god's abilities will be. That's not to say, however, that because a god doesn't have any followers their powers will be weak. Faith can only help a god's powers, not hurt them. How they enhance their specific powers, however, varies depending on the god - M O R T A L . He will reluctantly respond to either of these - a g e - He is on the younger side compared to all of the rest, dead or alive, being around 4,798 years. His mortal appearance looks to be 23 though - g e n d e r - Tells others they are Male / Masculine to keep things simple - p r o n o u n s - He / They / Them - s e x u a l i t y - Bisexual - g e n o c i d a l . o r . p e a c e f u l . ? - He's a mix between the two, as long as he can do his job he doesn't care - g o d . o f - The Soul, Desperation, and Mercy "What makes a sacrifice worth it? After all, a few are responsible for the millions of deaths of others, and he's aware of a fews more... Violent tendencies and unpredictability. For now they will stay rather guarded, but will add contributions nonetheless to ensure history doesn't repeat itself. Sure, it boosted their reputation, but if he has to see another mortal on their literal hands and knees begging for release again he's gonna weep - t h o u g h t s . o n . t h e . 1 , 0 0 0 . y e a r . w a r - He has a very neutral stance, however there is no denying how much suffering it brought to people regardless of the god they followed or cause they fought for. He does have to admit, though, that the amount of mortals pleading and begging for mercy had gotten annoying at some point, only for the fact that it deeply saddened him and greatly fueled his curiosity. The remaining few humans' souls had weeped and howled for mercy before they too perished, and that feeling will forever haunt him. - g o d . a p p e a r a n c e - This guy is quite the sight to behold. For one, a long loose silver chain drapes across his arms from a cuff on both of his wrists, extending to rest right behind his neck before draping down once again towards the opposite cuff. The chain is long enough that he can almost extend his arms all the way to either side of him yet still draw the string of his bow back perfectly fine. Another feature hard to miss is how four mangled white wings sit behind his back. His top set of wings are much larger, while the bottom look as if more for shown. They all lay somewhat outstretched and skewed in awkward directions, and while they may be jostled when he walks they make no other motion, not even to fly. The feathers are all bent and unkempt, and for his top right wing you can see some bone. His form is covered in what looks to be a mix between a black hoodie and a cloak that goes down to a little above his knees, with a hood and long sleeves with wide cusps that cover a third of his hands were he to keep his hands to his side. Underneath that, he wears a simple white sweater. Hair wise, it's ashen grey in color, with the smallest hue of blonde mixed in. Milost tends to keep it a little long, with messy bangs that brush the top of his eyes and hair that goes down to his shoulders. The god keeps his hair well kept, despite outward appearances, and if someone were to touch it they'd find it thick and silky. Giant pale golden antlers protrude from his head, fanning out similarly to that of an Irish Elk and tends to be the nesting ground for a few smaller birds, and always for Eloise. A ribbon is tied around the base of his left antler, white in color and slimly cut so that the ends droop. It's not tied into a bow, rather it's a neat, flat knot As for terms of piercings or scars, this god has a few. Piercings wise, his only two are small white rings on his upper left ear. As for scars, he has a few across his arms from the war, not able to completely avoid getting himself into the conflict of the constant fighting and three on his face. A horizontal slash below his left eye, and two vertical ones, one on his cheek and the other near the corner of his mouth. His skin is a somewhat pale color, but not to a ghastly degree that it would draw any concern, and holds no blemishes or freckles As for his voice, when he speaks, he speaks through telepathy to others, reverberating like an echo in your head. While you may mainly hear one voice, if you listen close enough you can hear the murmur of others, male and female, ever so faintly in the background parroting exactly what you hear the main voice say. When he gets mad however, a bunch of different voices will make a booming echo, distorting those unfortunate enough to hear it. It's as if his main voice is usually the representative for all the others. He does not say I, he says we. He is a conglomeration. The body but a vessel to host the souls of others who are not done yet. This being can physically talk, however when he does his words come out broken and raspy, like he has a concept in his mind but isn't sure how to put it into words and is quite mangled from misuse. His voice is notably masculine, however can change just like when he talks to others psyconetically. Instead of hearing a hint of other voices underlying his own however, he murmurs to himself in an almost insane matter, however this happens incredibly rarely and only if he uses his actual voice beforehand A very unsettling feature about this god are their eyes, pure white in color with no pupil to make of. Something close to an aura seems to come from his eyes. When a strong sense of emotion overcomes him or the pleads from people looking for mercy become too great, white paint-like liquid will ooze as if he were crying As for this gods weapon of choice, he wields a beautifully carved bow made from an almost black looking wood, however if someone were to look closely enough they'd find that it's actually a dark brown. The edges of the bow curve forward just slightly, and the grip is wrapped in red colored cloth. Small etches on the limbs of the bow depict the story of a flying whale in an ancient language only a few can understand. - Mortal Appearance - WIP - p e r s o n a l i t y - Sympathetic - Protective - Reserved - Emotional - Dutiful - Unafraid - Patient - Always a little anxious - Social - Quiet - Restless - Incredibly Curious - Skeptical - Disloyal, never stays on one side for too long - Morally Grey - Adventurous - Testy - Cautious - Down to Earth - Picky - Cordial - Polite - Doesn't catch on Easily - Innocent but also not - Good Memory - Not a fighter but will hold their ground - Stubborn - When they loose their temper they throw a tantrum hard - Excitable - Respect for Respect - p o w e r s . t h e y . p o s s e s s - - Wish Maker - Milost has the power to grant a person their greatest desire and execute it in whatever way they see fit. However this power only works for when someone prays to him for mercy - Soul Searching - Milost can see the soul of any living being, from animals, people, plants, and even insects to name a few. The soul will then appear to only him in a certain color and aura, however he doesn't always know what it means. Sometimes a darker shade is better than a lighter one, and a brighter aura is better than a happy or intense one. It's very abstract, and hard to interpret sometimes, but he tries. Reading the soul, when he understands the meaning, can help him get a good read of something's true nature. He can also read multiple at a time within a certain radius when he closes his eyes. Milost has found someone who is aware of him trying to read their soul and has a strong willpower or is naturally very guarded is harder to read than someone who doesn't know but is very open and trusting. Milost himself can't read his own soul, however he does know some tricks to hiding your soul from his read he teaches to a select few people who he considers his friends "PLeAd fOr MErCy." - l i k e s - - Huge Flower Gardens and Orchards - The sound of fast-falling rain - Lots of Personal Space - Keeping his Work to Himself - "What's this thing mortals call Lasagna?" - d i s l i k e s - - Nosy individuals, those who pry where they shouldn't - Watching people beg - The Wrong kind of Attention - Losing his Temper - Meteor Showers - h o b b i e s - - People Watching! - It's often Milost will be relaxing somewhere populated, but also a place that doesn't force him to socially interact with another person. Most of the time it'll be on a bench by a pond, preferably with some ducks. He's pretty curious about the thought process of a human and what leads them to take certain actions or decisions, especially those that endanger the lives of others - Practicing his Archery - Milost will always strive to perfect his aim, for as much as he fights with a bow and arrow he doesn't make all his shots. Archery is something that he finds fun to try and master, and you never know when an arrow will have to count - Cooking - While he enjoys cooking, whether the dish tastes good or not is usually up to chance. If it's any kind of seafood don't touch it, however he is a master at making pasta dishes. Anything else is a hit or miss. The worst it's gotten is when he accidentally gave someone food poisoning - g r e a t e s t . a c h i e v e m e n t - The day he granted a mortal mercy who did not wish it so through death - b i g g e s t . f e a r - Milost's biggest fear would have to be the realization that his people, if he ever gets that much of a following, are simply just using him as a tool, rather than a deity to be respected. He's dreamed of a following in dread and anticipation for thousands of years, and while he's aware it's very farfetched to happen they still hope they'll be able to make a good enough impression to garner some respect. - b a c k g r o u n d - He... They do not remember their ascension into godhood, but they know it was a terribly unfortunate. For about 3,000 years they started learning the ropes on their own, before the war broke out and their duties got all the more real. They had no people of their own who worshipped them so they had no one to really loose, however their heart goes out to the others who have lost millions of their own. Their exhausting duty during the war was just answering the pleads of those begging for relief. - k i n - The main voice was a part of a trio of triplets and he also remembers an older sister, but the other two and said older sister have since long passed away. Mortal Name: Maeve Desrosiers ~ ¤ ~ Age: Her exact age is unknown, she is simply ancient. Thoughts on the War: Though it isn't the most convenient thing in the world, she doesnt mind it one bit. Duvé quite likes the excitement and drama happening around her when battling, often feeling a familiar amount of adrenaline who battling. She wouldn't like to be doing this often though, so it is indeed a bit annoying at times. ~ ¤ ~ Appearance: Goddess Appearance The woman is truly a blessing to be in the presence of, her appearance radiating beauty and power all at once. She is a creature known commonly in mythology as a "Naga", usually a woman in which her bottom half is a snakes coiling, slithering lower half. As for Duvé she is blessed with the ability to have her mythical appearance represent one of an albino ball python. As I stated before, she is a stunning creature, her features sharp and her body built. The goddess is on the slimmer side of size but is nonetheless curvy. Devú is 11'10" feet long when completely layed flat, her strong tail helps her with balance and her ability to move quickly, easily moving around, and her impressive skill if flexibility. . As for Duvéssa's skin tone, its a darker tan color, closely compared to the suns glow, it blends neatly near the beginning if her lower half, evening out into a creamy white scaled tail. Duvé has a few small freckles around her nose bridge and a few sprinkled onto her cheeks. Her eyes are a large and doe-like, having quite the vibrant color of a darker emerald green shade. The are more of an almond shape over an oval appearance. The goddess has waist long, neatly waved, darker orange hair, usually let loose or pit into a messy bun, leaving two strands near her ears loose. . Duvéssa is a big fan of shiny things...especially gold items- hence all of her gold rings and chains. Her delicate fingers are laced with bright thinner rings, a few of which are connected to each other with a gold chain. Her neck is wrapped with a few choker-like appearing necklaces, and a few that hang looser down her usual v cut top. She does have her nose pierced with a singular gold loop, as her ears have similar appearance, multiple piercings in each. . Mortal Appearance Duvés mortal appearance is as equally attractive as her original form, beautiful and powerful... The female is on the taller side, standing around '5"8 feet tall and weighing in at a lighter weight of 113 pounds. She has that same slimmer appearance but still a curvy hourglass figure. She practically looks the same as her upper half for each forms, her skin a darker tan with few freckles. With her features sharp. . The only thing changed is her tone of voice and eye color. When her eyes are still still a go dark green, they arent as bright and Emerald like than before, instead more like a dark olive shade. Instead of her regular raspy, sharp, harsher tone of voice, it has calmed down quite a lot. More kept to an average level, her voice softer and even than before. Duvé will rarely raise her voice in this stage, as she doesnt see the point when she could confront her victim or opponent in her original form, the more intimidating of the two... Instead of her bite being toxic, it is her skin, specifically more powerful around and on the skin and scales of her lower half. Her pores are able to release an amount of deadly toxin, usually in a slick liquid-like form, causing it to cover her scales and skin thoroughly. This gives her the ability of more self defense, though if course, there is a downside. If she was using this ability to kill, the victim would need to inhale or the toxin would need to enter their body somehow. Whether this be a wound, by eyes or even by mouth. . Enhanced Speed & Agility Once again, an upside to being part snake. This ability isn't just placed into her original, mythical form by also her mortal appearance. Duvé is able to move with impeccable, with unnatural and shocking speed, her flexibily adding into this, helping her to get to someplace quickly...maybe even rushing towards someone or away from something. Though she doubts the ladder. Duvé moves swiftly, easily dodging obstacles and quickly moving through dense foliage of crowds. . Stone Gaze As her mother was a Gorgon, she inherited this ability from her. A common ability for them, but rarer in a shifting Naga. She can control when it happens, but her wanted victim must look her directly into her sight to be turned to stone. She is still perfecting this, though she hasn't had as much practice lately, except for smaller mammals and animals in general. She has found it more difficult to turm the the victim into a full stone statue. Often ending up in some body part or several not frozen... Greatest Achievement: Staying Hidden ⁄ Undercover Yes, Duvé was on the high wanted end of criminals in the world of the gods for quite a long while. She would find it quite a bug achievement for staying hidden and getting away with everything she did in that time. This was indeed on of her bigger insane moments, it took a few years to finally stop this episode. But she ended up being turned in the the "prison" by one of her close cousins... That betrayer. So maybe it wasn't a complete win for her, but she takes pride in what she was known for before then and how she was able to stay hidden for quite a long while anyways. Biggest Fear: Loosing Sanity One of her biggest unspoken fears. She relies on the company of others, not just for her personal affiliations, but her sanity. She can easily be driven to insanity when not socialized regularly with others. This actually, terrifies her, not being in complete control of herself and what she is doing. As this has happened a few times in her long lifetime she would rather not replay those tapes. The worst of these experiences ended in a death, and it obviously wasn't her own... There may have been more than one death in the time she was crazed. So yes, she would rather skip that part of being crazy! And it doesn't help that is the goddess of insanity... So this could happen more often than first thought. ~ ¤ ~ Crush: None as of now, possibly open. God Appearance: Short and statuesque, the God-man has an interesting feel about him, and he has a large bruise on his face which he always tries to hide from view. His mid-back length, straight, white hair is tapered. He has some cold, heartless, golden eyes, puffy lips, and a rounded jaw. He has average-sized feet, narrow shoulders, small hands, and a short torso with lightly defined chest muscles and an existent waistline. He has pierced his body. He has a scenic tattoo on his back. He often wears ripped, plain clothes that are mostly vividly-coloured. He is usually seen wearing a specific pair of leather gloves. He stands at 5'5 and sometimes is mistaken for a hermit crab. Sometimes he's mistaken as a smol boi, someone who enjoys such and such though that's the point. He has a lion-like tail and goat-like hooves, Always seen with a halo for no reason. Mortal Appearance - A brown-toned man that stands at 5'5, with bright blue eyes and lengthy darkish hair that's usually braided down his back, he has a female form just the same although she has small breasts and a slim waist while his male form is skinny chopstick that looks fragile and needs food. He has a lip ring, ear piercing, and a nose ring. His eyes are slanted with black under-eye bags. Commonly seen wearing either a jumpsuit that short, or a hoodie and sweatpants. Weapon: A book. His book contains magical spells that even other Gods aren't used to or have seen, although he does carry a book for God stuff---the book isn't the source of his magic, it's his necklace turning into a sword that hangs off his neck( He never takes it off). He carries the book from his late wife since she loves to read. Personality -Many hateful words can be said about Ek, but the fact he's intimidating and inconsequential, Elk can be likable, he just chooses to be a douchebag. Then there's the fact he's childish, hypocritical, and unfriendly. But the downfall is that even if this cloud remarks positive vibes, it can only do so much. After a while the cloud vanishes and the overwhelming negative thought comes clouding back over God, making it hard not to go through with a plan he's been thinking of since the loss of his first lover. Fear inducement Fear inducement (Able to control fear and make someone scared/fearless) ability. Elk is allowed to know the fear of others as well as take their fears away, he doesn't use it on mortals and has been rumored to even have used his power on his toddler who was scared of the dark. And while it's a useful power, it's not very good--rather than taking away fear he inhales it, so his toddler fear of darkness went into Elk and he feared the night for years, which made him even more mentally unstable God, asking the God of bright and sun to destroy the God of night and darkness. As you could expect, Riotl appears what she is - beauty. In her goddess form, she stands at an astounding seven feet evenly with bronze like skin that appears to glow softly. Her eyes are a bright white. Her face is made up of what is considered perfect - small nose, full lips, and her eyes are what would be something of siren eyes. Her head shape is rather angular with high cheekbones and a defined jawline. Behind her plump, pink lips are straight teeth with only a slight difference - her K9s are slightly longer but do not protrude past her lips. Her stature is obviously built on confidence and knowing what she is - beautiful. Her limbs are rather lanky as you could imagine. What most don't expect when you look at Riotl in her goddess form is her wings and horns. Protruding from the area of her temples are white horns, resembling that of a goat of sorts. They're white in color and appear to have scales on them. They curl outwards once and come to a sharp point just behind her head. Riotl's wings are also a bright white, and are feathery in appearance. They come off of her back obviously, though the one thing with her wings is that she can't fly. They simply allow her to glide. She believes it is because of her size, as in proportion to her height, her wings aren't exactly huge. As for clothing, in this appearance, she wears a number of chains and rings on her slim hands. Her most common piece of attire is a silk robe that draped over her left shoulder, leaving her right exposed. It wraps around her small bust, covering her seemingly perfect before going down and wrapping around her waist, leaving part of her stomach exposed and appears to be something of a skirt at the end, though it is all one piece. She wears no shoes in this form. Mortal Appearance 
Morana is a stunning woman as you could expect. She embodies what most girls, especially young ones, would desire to be. She stands at only five foot four in her mortal form, with a skinny build. Monrana has a darker skin tone, warm in color of a brown with redish undertones. She has a number of freckles as well, most prominent across her flat nose. There are few scars to be seen, though for what there is, none are what she would consider to be notable at all. She stands with pride and confidence - head up and shoulders back. Morana, like her goddess form, has a small bust and isn't very filled out at all. The best way to describe her is flat. Obviously, she had the natural curves that any woman may have in areas like the hips and back, but otherwise, there's not much to be seen. Morana's face shape is a bit on the ovular side, coming to a rounded chin with a defined jawline. Her eyes are rounder and big, dark eyelashes framing them and giving her a doe-like look of innocence. Here eyes are a dark brown, though almost golden looking when it comes to hue depending on the light. Aforementioned freckles can be found scattered throughout her face, mainly on her cheeks and her smaller nose, which is flat with slightly wider nostrils. Her lips are plump and full, the top on being a bit more prominent than the bottom. She has a beauty mark under her right eye, and her eyebrows are full and slightly arched, clearly taken care of. Her skin appears smooth and soft, almost untouched in appearance. Her hair is dark and curly, very full and thick as well. She normally has it pushed back out of her face, either tucked behind her ears the best that she can or with an elastic. Her hair appears healthy therefore it is not frizzy but rather full and made of tight coils. This power is useful whenever and wherever, but she obviously does not use it during something like battle.
