‣ Appearance
Despite being mainly white, Skadi's most eye-drawing feature is her piercingly icy blue eyes. They're pale and vibrant, and they're the first thing that someone spots. The closer one observes her eyes, though, you can find navy and Prussian blue bits and streaks hidden in the bold icy coloration. Her coat is mainly a stark white hue, with splotches of tawny, off-black, and coppers. One of her eyes is masked with a 'teardrop' like shape that has all three of her patterns inside of it, while the other is left markingless. She's built in an agility-like way, but still bears plenty enough muscle to pack a hell of a bite.
Her tall legs were meant to carry her long distances with ease, while her dipped-in waist and broad chest were meant for aerodynamic ease when gliding through the air. Her gaits are often elongated and almost elegant looking, with her gallop being much like a horse instead of a dog. When she suddenly bursts out with speed from 0 to 100, her head will naturally duck, then ease upward as she runs. Her ears are always erect, and being large, it's only natural that sound easily catches her before anyone else. Skadi is a significantly large dog thank to her seemingly dominant Beauceron genes. She weighs ~90lbs with a height of approximately 28 inches at the shoulder, perhaps less. Her neck adds a good distance, given its length.
Skadi still wears her collar often and leaves it well taken care of. One section of the collar is a navy blue, while the other is a bright teal. Both contrast against the different shades of blue in her eyes. The collar is strongly connected with metal, yet comfortable with a silk texture on the inside. Her paws are triangular shaped, which helps with digging and impaling. Although, one noticeable 'defect' on her back legs is her double dewclaws. They mainly just slightly jiggle limply when she trots or has a bounce in her step, but they do help for a last-resort defense. While she is short-furred and more vulnerable to scraps than a dog with more fur would be, she makes up for it in her long, stout jaw. Her jawline is pretty wide, leading her mouth to be much larger whenever she opens it. Many can see this whenever she pants, or opens her mouth just the slightest. Overall, from a distance, Skadi may not look as intimidating as a dog with bounds of fur that add to their intimidating appearance. But, up close, Skadi is considered a force to be reckoned with. Even if other dogs may beat her shoulder height, her lengthy, muscled neck adds a good distance, allowing her to nearly always look down at the others.
‣ Personality
Skadi is a witty dog. If she sees an opportunity for a joke, she'll take it. She has learned how to let her tongue roll whenever it wants to. This has lead to both good things and bad. For one, she'll get to make a witty remark just on time, or voice her opinion/ideas before another can. One the other hand, she can also release venomous comments. Her distaste toward someone could spill off her tongue just as easily as any other word. Although, she has learned to put on a honeyed grin, and act like that annoyance doesn't bother her. But, if you get too close or naggy, Skadi will put you in a place with a burst of aggression. It doesn't matter who or what you are. If you irk her to the point where she whips around and snaps at you, you better back off. Skadi is one to either accidentally let her feelings for someone roll, or bottle them up to the point that the lightest touch sends her aflame. Sometimes her expression is unreadable, while in others she just lets herself go. Overall, it's hard to get her angry if she's having an alright day, but if she feels like venting about all the crappy things that has happened, don't get on her bad side.
Skadi is extremely intelligent. She knows her way around things and easily remembers and can calculate where things are and where they will be within a matter of moments. Being a scent hound, she is also known to be very observant. If something catches one of her senses, she is quick to react. Skadi has learned how to feel tremors in the ground, although it's hard, and harder when in the sand. She'll usually be able to see, smell or hear the opponent before she feels the tremor, but she believes it's still a helpful attribute. Her ears will always catch the slightest sound before any other dog, and her eyes will capture the tiniest of movement. Almost nothing goes unnoticed for her. Even with all this wit, Skadi is sharp-tongued. If you've enraged her silver tongue, she will spew a fluent river of boiling, demeaning comments. She's quick to find someone's insecurity and weak spot, and will use it against them if she has to. This has often caused nomads to have a disliking toward her.
Skadi is a mischievous being. She's used to following drama or trouble. She may not know it, but she actually revolves around such matters, all for adrenaline. When it comes to daring matters, Skadi is the biggest ring-leader you've ever set eyes on. Leave it to her to sum up a little group of troublesome gremlins. She's surprisingly creative and strategetic. Being a cattle dog mix, it's only natural that she uses her wits and her surroundings to help her. She will use the boulder beside her to get the higher ground of her victim, or she'll run down the slim tunnel that the other has struggle going through. With this, Skadi also still has some of the pent-up herding instinct. In another life, she would've been on a ranch, making sure the livestock got to where they needed to go. So, naturally, she gets nippy and dominant, but she always tries to keep herself in check.
Skadi lightly uses sarcasm. She doesn't flood jokes with them, but she still finds mild humor in such. She finds up-tight dogs with sticks so far up their asses hysterical, so any "get off my territory or I'll rip out your throat" kinda dogs are not found to be intimidating in her eyes. In fact, she doesn't even show fear in the eyes of any dog, except for well-known companions. Skadi is flirtatious to a degree. If she finds someone attractive, there's a chance she'll butter them up. If she flirts, it doesn't necessarily mean that she actually likes or loves the other being, though. Skadi's an adrenaline junky. She craves thrilling experiences and will go out of her way to be in them. Of course, if it meant certain death, she would run away faster than the eyes could see. Skadi's more of a listener than a talker, but she still is pretty chatty when it comes to it. She isn't a social butterfly and doesn't go out of her way to talk to others, but she will communicate, and enjoy it depending on the topic.
Skadi's memory is one that is untarnished. It's always sharp as a bee's sting, and it never seems to fade. She's capable of remembering the slightest things that happened, and will often bring them up to tell detailed stories, or to use it as an inside joke for later on. She easily gets distracted by little things but she tends to stay on topic most of the time. She can be considered vexing when it comes to her patrols lasting longer than they should be, as she tends to go out of her way to find something out, or she simply does a beeline of scouting. Either way, Skadi is one to try and forgive grudges, but sometimes she can't help but hold onto them. Although Skadi is a scent hound, this doesn't mean she couldn't have been a Gunner. She has all the attributes that can lead her to be one, she simply doesn't have enough of the spirit to be overly aggressive. Don't get her wrong, if she's inspired, she will bring you down to her level of hell. But, she's more-so a chill or nonchalant dog that will half-heartedly threaten without motivation.
‣ Reputation
For nomads that she has come across, she's known to be a very loose character. She doesn't get automatically aggressive toward them, in all actuality, she'll simply let them be unless they address her. To her pack, she's more well-known. She mainly plays the nonchalant role, while still harboring hidden aggression and hyper activeness that can pop out of nowhere and catch others off-guard. She's known to be able to go from 0 to 100 real quick. She also can be quite dominant to her pack members, which causes some issues. This is mainly just in the form of nipping at their rumps or snapping mid-air near their face or neck as a warning. Although, one must do something naggy, annoying, or unnerving for her to do this.

‣ Strengths
Muscles ; Skadi is packed full of muscle. Although she may have that "skinny" appeal to her waist, she has plenty of meat on her shoulders, legs, neck, etc. that help propel her forward.
Digging ; Skadi is a great digger. If you need something to be dug up fast, Skadi is the dog to call. Her triangular paws help her with digging narrow holes, too. In which, makes it easier for her to catch foxes, mice or rabbits.
Smooth talker ; Skadi is fluent with her words, she speaks so smoothly that she doesn't even experience a crack in her voice, or a rumble/sudden random pitch. This leads her to have an almost intimidatingly elegant appearal.
‣ Weaknesses
Vulnerable ; While Skadi, like every other dog, is capable of inflicting death on another, she just doesn't have that extra layer of protection called thick fur. This vulnerable state is mainly to due her skin and fur not being as thick or as padded. Without heaps of fur covering her sensitive areas, such as the throat, it leads to vulnerability.
Pressure ; While Skadi is good at this, she still has a long way to go. She's still able to get messed in the head with, and can still break under pressure.
Emotions ; Skadi was never good with this. She doesn't know how to properly express them, or notice them well.
‣ Likes
Water ; Given her athletic build, thin fur, and muscled, long legs, it's no wonder that Skadi is a pro swimmer- and enjoys it.
Jumping ; This is another thing that Skadi has gotten good at. She's able to scale and jump heights/lengths that is quite impressive. She believes it is what flying would feel like. This also plays into her love of catching things.
Rude dogs ; Skadi, surprisingly finds rudeness, sarcasm, jackassery, and so on to be amusing.
Mud ; Being a scent hound, Skadi naturally has found that the only scent she wants to bear, is that of the earth. Or, that's the excuse she tells others so she can roll around in the mud and stink like whatever was in it before her.
Heat ; Whether it's a hot sunny day with a cool breeze, or multiple bodies warming each other up on a cool night, Skadi needs heat.
‣ Dislikes
Heavy rain ; While she doesn't mind the light downpour, heavy ran makes scent trails fade, along with any tracks. Not only does it blur her vision, but it also floods out any other sounds. Heavy rain is just impossible to work in.
Wind ; While she likes breezes that softly carry scents around, strong winds that whip around violently get annoying real fast.
Overbearing ; dogs who are overbearing or controlling.
Coyotes ; Skadi never liked their presence. They were always too deceiving and sly.
Boars ; Why can't they just run away like every other prey? They're too territorial and straightforward-aggressive for Skadi to even get a chance to like them.
