Vervade, while having her own beauty, is a truly intimidating for sight, and you don't really have to wonder how she became a warrior. Standing at 32 feet tall, her entire 44 ft long body is covered in dark purple, almost black, diamond hard scales. A light dusting of pure white speckles show up here and there, glittering and giving her the appearance of the night sky. Her 77 ft wingspan definitely helps with this image, the membranes of her bat like wings being gorgeous shimmering shades of purple, quite resembling a nebula. Her legs are of average width for a dragon her size, ending in gleaming black, very sharp, hooked claws. Continuing down her body she has a line of dark sharp back spikes, which also aid with quick turns while flying. Nearing her long, strong tail, her hard scales begin to sharpen all the way to the end, forming a formidable spiked, whip like weapon. Going back to her head you will immediately notice two gleaming black horns rising from her head, curving outwards, then inwards, with the tips just curling outwards again. (resembling maleficent's horns). Her eyes are burning pure violet, and on her forehead, the black back spikes curl around, forming a strange, will o' the wisp shape. She has quite the formidable set of sharp teeth, and a light purple tongue.
Another quite noticeable mark is a scar that slashes across her left eye. (she is covered in other such scars, but they are well hidden by her speckled appearance)
She also wears a star dragon pendant, a glittering gold dragon with diamonds for eyes and back spikes, curled around a glowing round diamond. It hangs on a thin (but obv very long) chain at her chest. It was a death gift from Daell.

Personality: Vervada used to be called "The Gentle Giantess", but that was 7 years ago.
Back then she was a well known, and trusted, dragon, always ready to share a joke, or sit and listen compassionately to anyones problems. Her best friend was an ice dragon called Everest, whom she knew since she was rescued. The two got into such mischief together, both fun loving and eager to test the limits, but never in a truly harmful way. Despite being so gentle and kind, she was still extremely large, and powerful, and when the two of them teamed up no one could take them down! It was no surprise that Vervada was able to fight her way to the warrior rank. And her rider, Daell, was there with her every step of the way. He tamed her from her wild roots, taught her that humans meant well, and even risked getting killed for her. He trusted and believed in her, and so she him. The two were inseperable, and their bond grew stronger, until they could understand each other perfectly, and their flights were beautiful to behold. And then.. the attack. An enormous army swarmed over the camp, stiking at evening, their weakest time. Everest and Vervada, with their riders, took off to battle, and took down an astonishing amount of the enemy. But they didn't count on the leader targetting them. And he did. Dragons swarmed them, their riders slashing and cutting. Everest threw herself in front of Vervada as a blast of deadly powerful fire flamed towards her open, hissing mouth, and fell to the ground, her rider with her, never to fly again.
Daell and Vervada continued the fight, but just 15 minutes before reinforcements arrived, a well shot arrow split the air, and pierced Daell's chest. Vervada could feel his pain, and that he was dying, and in her blindness of the wave of emotions she somehow managed to make her retreat, with same very scarring wounds.
Daell and Everest both died that night, and in the morning, it was like a different beast had taken hold of Vervada. She snapped at anyone who spoke to her, and not just verbally. Flames became her way of expressing herself, and just one look from her raging purple gaze could turn anyone silent. Everyone avoided her, and she grew sullen, angry.
7 years have passed... and now this Vervada walks the grounds. She is more at peace with her friends deaths, but only inside. She remains, to others, angry and broken. She speaks her mind, and thankfully no longer uses fire to express her thoughts, at least not as much, and is certainly not afraid to do so. She scorns any attempts at friendship from the other dragons, especially because she knows it isn't true. She has been asked many times if she is ready to accept a rider, and her venom filled reply has always been "If you let one human near me with the thought of bonding he won't make it back to you".
