This lioness is a lithe, agile one, built to be a huntress. She stands tall at 3.6 feet to the shoulder with long limbs, a slender tail, and a sleek frame. Her muscling is wiry and defined, yet she still looks quite feminine and even beautiful. Saja carries herself tall and with confidence -- not arrogance. Her deep amber eyes burn with the intensity of a lioness not to be crossed, despite her age.

Saja's coat is a caramel color, richer than most coat saturations. Her chin, chest, and paws have white fur intermixed with the rest of her, providing a nice gradient back into the main coat. She has slight dappling on her legs but it is mostly faded. Deeper reds and browns congregate above her eyebrows and inside her ears as well as across her shoulders, back, flanks, and tail.

She has some scarring, though mostly nicks on her nose and around her muzzle. There are some along her legs and shoulders as well. Her own claws are dark and very long, still slightly visible even when sheathed. She was built to kill, and she does it with graceful ease.

Personality

She is not just physically strong; her personality comes on hard and fast. Saja is aloof, but she will start a conversation or intervene in one to put out the fire with threats, harsh words, or simple rebukes -- even amused scorning, at times. Her feelings are rarely shown around those she lives with, as she feels she must constantly play a strong hand. So, she shows herself as a battle-hardened warrior with no remorse or feeling whatsoever.

In reality, she is thoughtful and very aware of others' feelings. She keeps her cold shell at the front to protect a softer core, though no one has seen the sweet, curious lioness that resides beneath it. Really, she just wants to keep it that way. Saja is an observer, content to watch the dynamics eb and flow around her and intervening when she sees fit. Her favorite pastime is lion-watching in the sun, eyes narrowed and the warmth baking her back.

Saja is a resilient lioness, always pressing for some goal and always working to create new ones to meet. She has always pushed herself and has improved quickly because of it, speeding up her progression enough to be a fierce and foreboding foe in battle and during a hunt. There is very little she will not attempt. She is not foolhardy, nor is she stupid. Her decisions are made to further her progress without causing unneccesary bodily harm.

Saja is not a fan of most males of her species and treats them with a clipped curtness that blatantly shows disinterest. No one knows why. She is not much better around lionesses, but she is more civil with them. Saja is just wary around cubs -- they're so fragile, so breakable. So... ugh. She tends to stay away from them, but she wouldn't mind some of her own eventually.
