can i ask when i was acting that way? /genuine.

los campesinos! said:
well you weren't in it in the first place, so

if this is what was being referred to, they weren't, because they submitted an unfinished character sheet. so, they were not in the rp, as their character wasn't able to be accepted yet anyway. they weren't in the roleplay to be able to drop out of it. guess it was just more of a technical way for me? but i do see the way i said that was a little rude. i'll do better

Mocha

3 years old.

Male.

Omnisexual.

Epsilon

Comfortable, but he may end up an Omega whether he likes it or not.

Süd

Mocha is a very dark brown wolf, with lighter markings on his tail, back, tummy, muzzle, paws and neck.

His eyes are a deep gold, keeping a warm tone throughout his colouring. His skin is a pitch black. Mocha has a compact build with square, strong shoulders and haunches. Mocha has a few scars from his short time as an Epsilon.

Mocha is on the larger side of life, being 33'' tall and weighing 125lbs.
Mocha is a heavy-footed wolf, considering his size; he often slips on the ice found throughout both the territories- which can cause hinderences to his battle capabilities- and his legs are often caked in snow.

Mocha is a rambunctious male, often forgetting his own strength and causing a bit of a ruckus. He'd never do it on purpose though, however he has gotten close to becoming an omega because of it.

He doesn't often realise anything he does is either right or wrong, the moral line for him is rather transparent. This leads him to lacking a sense of guilt or remorse, because as far as he's aware, he didn't do anything bad.

As much as his morals are grey, he does have at least some sense of it. He can only see the extremeties of the moral compass, seeing murder and genocide as a probably bad thing and curing wolves of their ails as probably a good thing. He's just fortunate enough to be in the (hopefully) smack dab centre most of the time, so he doesn't have to worry about right and wrong.

Mocha is generally very unaware of things when they are 'implied'. Say it to him straight or he won't get it.

Mocha doesn't know if he could kill a wolf in a fight. Although it's not something he has any strong feelings on, he's not sure if he fits the label 'bloodthirsty killing machine' enough to go around tearing out throats.

Will add backstory later.

No known relatives.

I needn't give a rp example to myself... again

form declined for these reasons:
- wolf's coat is not realistic
- minimum appearance description is not met (or there at all)
- minimum personality description is not met
- you haven't said what pack he's in

(probably demi, but she's not in a hurry to solve this mystery)
Current Role:
Upsilon
Role Aspiration:
Tau... in theory
Pack:
Norden
Appearence:
credits 2 M E!!!
Unusually sleek fur for a wolf of her region, either a result of genetics or of her strict grooming routine, or maybe a combination of both. She's a decently sized she-wolf, but the largeness of her paws indicates that she should have been larger, had her birth year not been the famine year.
On her opposite side (right), there are large teeth-shaped scars that are almost disproportionately large to anything alive today. This was another result of an unfortunate childhood - her aunt's infanticide attempt on her litter. The scar has merely grown with her.
Pinja moves with a smooth gliding gait, usually a brisk trot with her ears alert, her gaze locked on something, and her head high. Unless she is around others, in which case her head is held so high that the back of her neck hurts from trying to keep it that way, and her chin is always lowered to be hovering just above her jugular... just in case. In these situations, she moves a bit more stiff, and her tail, which is usually relaxed and flowing behind her, is stiffened and straight.
Personality:
Callous | Reserved | Overachiever | Thoughtful | Impatient | Conflicted | Flighty

Pinja abuses her rank in the pack and uses it to avoid her worst foe; socializing with the others she shares her home with. Though the she-wolf carries herself in an often stuck-up and almost snooty matter, she's clearly uncomfortable in any area too densely packed with her fellow wolf, even wolves she really ought to know by now. She'd rather only hang out when necessary. Otherwise, she's making an excuse to patrol the same damn circle she's been patrolling all week.

This uneasiness around other wolves is also why she gets so stiff around them. Her head is usually held high, her tail straightened in a horizontal line, always unsure of what to think of anyone in her pack. She knows the conflict the pack is in can make anyone aggressive and on edge, and she does not want to risk being a target for this anger. Not that she'd cower and let them get away with it - the wolf has a fiery temper, and any insult towards her will not go unpunished.

Pinja is an overachiever, motivated by the desire to stay as far from a low rank as she possibly can. She is constantly trying to best her own previous records and pushing herself to do it fast. Though she's not a paw-licker by any means to any superior rank, she does desperately want them to notice her achievements and her abilities, and grant her some sort of immunity to demotion or give her some special privilege or... something. Something that reassures her she will never be looked down upon as a useless member of the pack.

Pinja can be surprisingly perceptive, but don't expect her to do much with the information she garners. Just because she's caught onto what you're hiding doesn't mean she'll say anything. Unless it is in her absolute best interest, Pinja will disregard most things that she catches onto early, and lock it away as a secret for herself. The she-wolf is more of a silent observer than anything, just a little fly on the den wall... she does take some silent smug pride in knowing that her reclusive behavior has made many wolves feel a bit too bold in talking about secrets right in front of her. They always think she isn't listening.

Despite having a good position in the pack, and having a pack to live in at all, Pinja is dissasistfied and conflicted with where she is right now. She does not like the tidy sorted system of the pack, it makes her yearn for the disorganization of her birth one, even if the place was miserable in every other aspect. She isn't too fond of the conflict with the other pack, but at least it gives her an actual job, because what else will an Upsilon do when there's no enemy to watch out for? She even finds her own rank annoying. Pinja thinks her cowolves step on her paws and her Tau can be irritating. She'd like to take that rank for herself, she thinks, but... well, she's never been a leader type.

Loyalty is a front and she's never really been genuine. She'll stick with the pack out of obligation, but if things are looking dire, and she sees an escape route or thinks she's healthy enough to pull through a winter on her own, she's darting out the back end of the territory. She's already found her escape route - not that she was consciously looking for one, but she spends so much time patrolling and stuck in her own thoughts, that she had to make up a pack-destruction scenario in her head to try to figure out how she'd survive such an event. And her solution was to abandon it. If she would not die for the pack she was related to, she would not die for the pack she has very few bonds in.

What Pinja lacks in social skills she makes up for in acrobatic skill, using it to further show off how good she is in her rank and abilities. She enjoys doing incredible tasks just to show that she can, and to try to get attention and favor of higher ranks.

Perhaps cliche, but under the rough exterior, Pinja can loosen up. She can be pup-like in her behavior, always seeking to wrestle and play annoying games. You almost wouldn't recognize her if you compared the happy upbeat Pinja to the typical almost brooding one. She has yet to really warm up to anyone to embarrass herself so horribly, though.

Backstory:
Formerly a dispersal who came upon Norden's borders before she was even aware of another pack in the area. She was around two back then, young and inexperienced, and doesn't know how her awkward, bumbling self got accepted into a pack. Since then she's secured herself a role... but is a bit dissastisfied with it and the general state of things.
She's never been too cheerful or outgoing. The pack she was raised in was a small family group that always had a bone to pick with each other. She was raised where wolves didn't really have a sense of loyalty, and they were together just by obligation to survive, not by bond. This is probably why she is as awkward and as cold as she is - she was never really taught how to reciprocate anything that wasn't bared teeth and bristling fur.
Relatives: none, open

Name:
Florrie

Three Years
Gender:
Female | She/Her

Pansexual
Current Role:
Omega
Role Aspiration:
Undecided
Pack:
Süd

image creds to ME again!!
Florrie is a small she-wolf, roughly 1'8'' tall... truly the opposite of formidable. Her fur is dense but has a habit of being extremely mangy, giving her the appearance of a wolf stuck in a perpetual shedding cycle. If that wasn't enough, she is extremely snaggle-toothed, and many of her teeth just naturally protude from her lip like that. This may be caused by her jaw being slightly crooked - not enough to be a hindrance, but she feels it when she's trying to bring prey down... which is why she's usually excluded from the hunts.
The she-wolf appears cheerful, however. Her eyes are definitely one of the more striking things about her, her pale irises always carrying a cheerful glimmer. She can do odd tricks with her eyes that she likes to show off at usually bad times, to a usually unwilling audience - these tricks usually include vibrating her pupils or rolling one eye completely backwards. She only ever does it with her right eye... which also happens to be her lazy eye.
Personality:
Cheerful | Shy | Gullible | Nurturing | Sensitive | Excitable

Florrie is a generally polite, soft-spoken she-wolf who wants to be helpful, but isn't quite sure how. She's terrified of hurting anyone's feelings, usually avoiding confrontation at all costs. There is not one vengeful bone in her body. It gets to the point where even if someone wants to stick up for her, she insists they don't, even begs them to - she doesn't want the perpetrator's feelings to be hurt even though they may have hurt hers. She's definitely a bit of a push-over and people-pleaser.

Florrie isn't the most outgoing wolf, but she isn't cold, either. It just takes her awhile to warm up to bustling pack life. She often finds herself having to leave exciting pack situations because she just gets too overstimulated - and an overstimulated Florrie is a very excited one, so excited that she may start nipping whoever she's seated beside. She'd rather not get so overloaded by senses that she chomps down on a fellow celebrating packmate, so she usually only participates in the beginning of pack activities before excusing herself to do more.. menial tasks.

Florrie always assumes the best in wolves, even though time and time again this has been proven wrong. She is the absolute definition of gullible. You could tell her the moon is made of cheese and she would believe you, because why would you lie to her?

Despite her refusal to confront wolves, Florrie isn't very forgiving once she realizes she's been wronged. Just because she doesn't want to hurt a wolf doesn't mean she forgives them. She can hold a grudge for years. It usually manifests in her professional ignoring skills or her giving the driest responses she can muster while still appearing polite. She freezes wolves out once she decides maybe this one really is bad, and usually has the head to resist all temptation to open back up.

Unsure of where she belongs in the pack, Florrie usually spends her time babysitting pups and trying to help wean them. Her favorite past time is lounging outside a den with this year's batch of pups, gnawing on a deer femur and telling them about her great travels before she arrived here. She thinks she'd like to have her own litters one day... but the issue is finding a wolf she'd want to have it with. She can be very picky about partners and very dense with flirts.

Backstory:
Florrie was from an oopsie litter and was one of the only surviving pups. She was born late in the year to first time parents who had just fled their packs and were definitely not as ready as they thought they were. She grew up with helicopter parents, pretty much - her mother watched her like a hawk and her father always thwarted her wandering attempts. This made her a bit scared to strike out on her own when the time came... but though her parents gave her the option to stay home, she did go.
She arrived at Süd earlier this year and has been struggling to properly meld since. She has no clue where she belongs and often finds herself feeling like a deadweight, like she isn't particularly good at anything. Regardless, she remains optimistic, if only because she has no other choice.
