Storm Dragon

Name:

Vespera Mortecus

"Evening Star"

(ves-pra)

Nickname:

Ves

Age:

125 years old

Gender:

Female

Class Type:

Storm

Thoughts on the Knights?:

Vespera sees them as inferior creatures driven by base desires and limited intelligence. Though, Vespera is mostly indifferent towards humans, whatever happens to them- she won’t care.

Appearance:

[Credits to Jaxi on picrew]

Standing tall at 16 1/2 hands, Vespera's lithe form is a breathtaking spectacle. Her scales akin to the richest maroon, glistening like a spilled goblet of wine beneath the sun's caress. Her lithe frame is not only visually stunning but also a testament to her agility and grace. Her underbelly, a bewitching tapestry of iridescent purples, melded together in a symphony of violets and pinks, their hues shifting and swirling like a liquid amethyst. Her coloration isn't just for looks, it allows her to blend in with the churring skies. Upon Vespera's regal head perched two long, ebony devil horns, spiraling skyward. A tiny, jet-black horn adorned her delicate nose, contrasting with her vibrant scales. Her jaws hold rows of razor-sharp teeth, gleaming like polished obsidian, a fearsome reminder of her primal power. One could not help but be captivated by the little white spots that adorn her. These ethereal markings grace the middle of her forehead, followed by a delicate path that traced the elegant curve of her cheekbones, cascading like stardust down her ears and jawline. Each spot seemed to shimmer, a stark contrast to her otherwise dark body.

Vespera's wings, resembling those of a great bat, are nothing short of a marvel. They stretched wide and powerful, their membranes dark as night, and each wingtip ended in a formidable claw. Her ears are longer than most dragons, taking more of longer version of an elven-shape. Her limbs are sinewy and powerful, each muscle finely sculpted to facilitate her swift and precise movements in the air. Her legs are a deep, velvety black, offering a striking contrast to the vibrant hues of her upper body. Her long tail drifts out behind her, the appendage ending in a demon-like tip. The scales on her tail shimmer in shades of maroon and deep purple, mirroring the captivating colors of her body. The colors all over her body seamlessly mold and blend into each other. Her claws are sharp and lethal but also rather long, emulating built-in daggers. Vespera's snake-like eyes, however, are the true embodiment of her elemental nature. They blazed with an unbridled yellow intensity, reminiscent of lightning bolts streaking through the sky. They sparkle with untamed energy, holding within them the power of the storm.

Personality:

Vespera often exudes an icy aloofness. She keeps her distance from others, rarely forming close bonds, and is known to respond to inquiries or greetings with a dismissive silence. Her moral compass is unyielding and unforgiving. Vespera can be harsh in her judgments, quick to condemn perceived wrongdoers, and she rarely extends a second chance. Vindictus is utterly unforgiving. She never forgets a slight, a betrayal, or an injustice. Every perceived wrong is etched into her memory. Safe to say, she knows how to hold a grudge. In moments of anger,Vespera can exhibit a calculated cruelty. She may use her vast knowledge of weaknesses to verbally wound or emotionally manipulate those who have earned her disdain. Vespera is a master manipulator, adept at pulling the strings behind the scenes. She may engineer complex schemes to control the lives and fates of others for her own amusement.

Needless to say,Vespera has an.. Electrifying aura. Her temper is volatile and unpredictable. Her fury is as unpredictable as a lightning strike. She can transition from serenity to tempestuous rage in the blink of an eye. When provoked, Vespera's anger is like a raging tempest, consuming all reason and restraint. Her usually graceful movements transform into violent, destructive outbursts. Her temper manifests as stormy tantrums, during which she may summon furious thunderclaps, causing tremors and chaotic weather patterns that reflect her emotional turmoil- only pulling back when she gets her way. Vespera's tongue is as sharp as her claws. She hurls cutting insults and stabbing remarks at those who dare provoke her. Vespera is prone to making impulsive decisions when her temper flares. She may act first and regret later, often creating complex and perilous situations. After particularly violent fits of anger, Vespera often retreats into solitary isolation to regain her composure. Moments later, she’ll reappear as if nothing happened.

Despite her unbridled nature, Vespera possesses a certain charm and charisma. She is able to sway others to her side and gain their trust through her persuasive and charismatic demeanor. Vespera is an eloquent and persuasive speaker. Her words flow like poetry, and she can sway opinions and win allies with her silver-tongued speeches. Her charming disposition endears her to a wide range of people. Vespera can effortlessly adapt to various social settings and connect with individuals from all walks of life. Her wit is as charming as it is sharp. Vespera has a knack for humorous quips and clever wordplay that endears her to others, making conversations with her engaging and delightful. Vespera can feign warmth and empathy, only to exploit their vulnerabilities later.

Vespera has a deadly aura that she wields very well. She shrouds herself in an aura of mystery, drawing others in with an enigmatic allure that begs to be unraveled. Her secrets are tantalizing bait for those who seek to know her more intimately. Her words are like honeyed promises, offering the allure of riches, power, or forbidden knowledge to those who do her bidding. Vespera knows how to make her targets believe they are benefiting from their choices. Vespera can employ her charm and physical beauty to seduce and enchant, leaving those who succumb to her advances in a state of blissful submission. Vespera romantic encounters are passionate and tempestuous. She can be an enchanting and seductive lover, but her affections are often fickle, and she may abandon her paramours without warning. Behind her seductive facade lies a tangle of hidden motives and machinations. Her temptress persona is a carefully crafted mask, concealing her true intentions and objective.

Abilities:

Weather Control: Vespera can influence the weather, summon thunderstorms, control lightning strikes, and powerful winds at will.

Thunderclap: By clapping her wings together or snapping her jaws shut, Vespera can create thunderous shockwaves that can stun or knock back enemies.

Rain Cleansing: Vespera can use rain to cleanse wounds and heal injuries, either her own or those of creatures she chooses to aid.

Charged Scales: Vespera's scales might store electrical energy, allowing her to discharge it when threatened, turning her very body into a weapon. (Similar to a live wire)

Electrical Aura: Her presence alone can emit a protective electrical aura, making it difficult for enemies to approach her or the ones she's loyal to without suffering harm.

Strengths:

1. Intelligent

2. Agile

3. Charismatic

4. Elemental Resilience (storms/lightning)

5. Dominant

6. Fast Flier

Weaknesses:

1. Bad Temper

2. Cynical

3. Manipulator

4. Water Vulnerability: Vespera is vulnerable to large bodies of water, as it can short-circuit her electrical abilities.

5. Exposure to Earth Elements: Prolonged exposure to earth-based elements like soil or mud can interfere with Vespera's electrical powers.

6. Prone to Overexertion: The use of her intense electrical powers and weather control abilities could lead to exhaustion, leaving Vespera temporarily weakened.

Vědmák Ohexis

Age: 246

Gender: Masculine
Class Type: Psyche

Thoughts on the Knights?: The presence of humans matters little to him unless offered something in return for his company. He does not dislike them, nor is he particularly fond of them. Vědmák Ohexis is neutral.

Appearance: 55461116-bl1-Kgp-Pt-HT5g-BNb.png

[credit goes to LEZFIED on TH as part of an art trade; character belongs to myself and may not be used nor distributed]

Vědmák Ohexis is a peculiar creature in both appearance and personality. He is uniquely built, resembling anything but a dragon. He has no eyes, no wings, nor any scales. Could he even be considered one? Truthfully, even he doesn't know.

Standing at an imposing height of precisely 17.7 feet, with a length exceeding twice that measurement, Vědmák Ohexis is far from an unimpressive sight. His physique is slender, bordering on emaciated, casting an eerie shadow with the subtle hollow in his abdomen. Contrasting this, his legs are robust and muscular, affording him significant speed and strength when required.

In terms of defensive attributes, Vědmák Ohexis possesses minimal safeguards. His only potential armor lies in his horns, though they serve a decorative rather than protective role, coiling around his head like a crown. While his skin is naturally thick and resilient, it lacks the protective scales commonly associated with dragons. While some degree of protection remains, it pales in comparison to other members of his supposed species.

Upon his hands and feet rest extremely large claws, which may offer him protection as needed. They are retractable, able to grow and shrink several inches. While Vědmák Ohexis may not have much armour, he has better senses than most. His ears, significantly larger and wider than the norm, resemble those of a deer and grant him the ability to detect sounds from vast distances. Likewise, his elongated nose slits provide heightened awareness of potential threats.

In terms of colouration, Vědmák Ohexis has fairly neutral colours. Earthy tones make up his main palette, with his main colours being brown, green, and grey. Furry tufts adorn his neck, back, and rump, interspersed with small flowers that create a mossy effect.

His pitch-black, soulless eyes and the ethereal quality of his whispery voice contribute to an overall unsettling aura, making Vědmák Ohexis an eerie and mysterious figure indeed.

Personality:
Eerie || Oddball || Peaceful (Somewhat) || Keeps to Himself || Intelligent || Enjoys his Mind Games || Generous || Unfazed || Picky || Strategic || Composed || Cheshire Cat Dupe

Known for his eerie nature, Vědmák Ohexis is an odd specimen of a beast, often lurking around and speaking in riddles. His behavior is far from that of a typical dragon; he can frequently be found entwined amidst towering trees like a panther or slithering through thickets like a serpent. Those who seek his presence should be prepared for mind games, as he often indulges in perplexing incantations and attempts to deceive passersby, purely for his own amusement. Unwanted visitors are promptly ushered away through his illusions, without ever laying eyes on him.

He's fairly picky about who he decides not to engage with in regards to his territory. Unlike other dragons who may despise trespassers, Vědmák Ohexis is known to tolerate select individuals. On rare occasions, he even displays generosity, offering gifts to mortals and other mythical beings. In truth, he remains rather indifferent and uninterested in reciprocated gifts. His fascination lies in certain beings, particularly the stories and tales they bring with them.

When he isn't tormenting visitors, he keeps to himself, wandering the land or remaining hidden for days on end. He enjoys his own company, though wouldn't refuse others if they wish to journey alongside of him. In this regard, he can be considered welcoming and is not one to get upset over minor matters. Even when faced with threats, Vědmák Ohexis maintains his composure. If indeed threatened, he adopts a strategic approach, meticulously evaluating all available options before taking any action.

Vědmák Ohexis is undeniably tenacious, but he possesses the wisdom to discern the line between amusement and recklessness. He possesses a keen intellect and is far from being a simpleton. Despite his hospitable nature, he should not be taken lightly. As an ancient being, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience. Crossing him is an ill-advised endeavor, for he remains a dragon with formidable powers. He will not be stifled with, and his kindness will not be taken advantage of. So long as he is met with kindness in return, Vědmák Ohexis remains kind. If not? Well, one best not stick around to find out.

Abilities:
Illusion Manipulation
Able to manipulate illusions to his content, he may cause victims to hear, see, touch, smell, and taste things differently. Able to distort the shape and size of a shape and surroundings, he can cause targets to misinterpret distance and distort another's sensory. This includes using awareness distortion, where he is able to perform movements or actions that can disrupt or nullify targets capacity to be aware of their surroundings, as well as his actions and attacks.

Transvection
He is able to levitate through mystical means, and he doesn't even have wings! How convenient.

Pain Illusion
He is able to trick his target into thinking that they are in immense physical pain. Despite no physical wounds or affects on the body, the mind is tricked into believing pain exists. Able to make his opponent wither in agony to exhaust them mentally and physically, it often offers him an advantage to create true pain in the process.

Psychokinesis
He is able to move or manipulate objects with his mind. Fairly straightforward.

Bilocation/Mirroring
Able to use his psychic to make himself/objects appear located in various places at the same time. Which one is the real version? Who knows. Good luck finding out. Overall, a good offense tool.

Strengths:
- Stealth: his lithe body allows him to remain stealthy upon the ground.
- Speed: once more, his lithe figure and powerful legs allow him to remain hidden and swift when needed.
- Cunning/intelligent: Vědmák Ohexis has lived many lives. In turn, he has learned much from them and has grown mentally into a very cunning, strategic individual.
- Heightened senses: self-explanatory. He has large ears and a good nose.
- His powers: self-explanatory, though Vědmák Ohexis typically contains his powers until needed, and prefers letting them build up. As a result, when he unleashes them, they serve him well. He doesn't typically use them unless needed.
- His claws: able to retract them or unsheath them, they resemble that of long, large knives. In reality, he can deliver a great deal of damage with them.

Weaknesses:
- No wings: while he can levitate, he cannot fly as swiftly as other dragons. This, as you can imagine, is quite a big deal.
- No scales: no scales, no protection. His thick skin can only help him so much.
- No spikes: all he has are his horns, and even that is lacking.
- Glowing light: when he uses his powers, a symbol appears. This is a big giveaway and often allows him to be seen. Think of it as casting a spell.
- Tail: he has no blade at the end of his tail like most. It's naked. Like a rat.

Crush: There may be a lovely lass that he has grown to fancy..
Mate: May be Discussed

Kin: None

I honestly wasn't sure how much I can fit on this sheet after her appearance (if there even is a limit), so her personality is a bit on the brief side (for me) if that is alright.

Name:

Visani

Meaning “Sensitive & Leadership”

Age:

247

Gender:

Female

Class Type:

Seer

Thoughts on the Knights?:

Curious little beings. Shame that it was the war of all things that drove them together. She would’ve loved to get to know them outside of such circumstances. Though, there’s been an itching in the back of her skull ever since she first spotted one of these “warriors of tales.” Could it be from that vision she saw all those years ago…?

Appearance:

Visani is not exactly a dragon built around the concept of “practicality.” While she may have things here and there built for survival, she doesn’t truly look to be purely made for it. She almost strictly exemplifies the mystical elements of such majestic beings, through and through. But, then again, bringing into account her abilities and class in general, it is not of any surprise to anybody. Her size is a bit of a testament to this. Despite living in crystalline caves, she has managed to grow up to eighteen feet in total height. Sixteen of these feet level out at her shoulders, while the remaining two make up her neck. The length of her body reaches around thirteen feet. Her tail, on the other hand, is four feet longer – being around seventeen feet – excluding what follows after its tip. In total, she measures around thirty feet in horizontal length.

But do not let her immense size fool you. This mystical beast is very much a lightweight. She has a completely lean build, being free of any fat but not too strong looking either. Though she doesn’t look to be exactly weak. Her muscles are “selectively” placed, forming only around her immensely broad chest, back, and tail. This large chest of hers has permitted her heart and lungs grow to exponential sizes – much larger in size comparably to her body than those of other dragons. Her bones are also semi-hollow to allow for more speed whilst flying. This body plan allows for a large amount of agility – granting her the ability to turn swiftly and repeatedly. Especially while in the air. The downside of this, however, is that she cannot take any sort of strong hit. Those aimed towards her wings and chest are the most damaging. The dragoness is indeed a quadruped, having more feline paws than some other dragons. Unlike cats, however, she has long non-retractable curved claws coming out of each and every one of her toes. These claws to perform as a mix of bird talons and cat claws when in use. The entirety of her form is coated in a soft layer of fur, with not a single scale dotting her body. Its density and length depends on the area in focus, but is generally around that of an average domestic short-haired cat (or what it would be, if they were her size) – if not a tad longer. She enjoys watching it be blow around in the wind whenever she flies. Finds is amusing for some reason. Its texture is also akin to that of a domestic short-hair, being soft and smooth. The softest of this fur covers her underbelly and can almost be described as silk with its texture. Yes, the fur along her spine and tail does puff up when surprised, angered, or scared. No spines or spikes line any part of body, leaving her defenseless to all physical attacks. Though, she does quite prefer the lack of “spikiness,” even if it makes her practically defenseless. Not even her tail holds any sort of pointed tip or defense of any sort. What it does, however, are three fans. The first of them – a pair – is located towards the start of her tail, near to where the tail actually forms. These fans are coated in feathers long and extend outwards, forming an odd sort triangle-like shape. The longest of these feathers reaches around seven inches, if not more. These two fans are mainly used for lift and turning. The other fan extends past the tip of the tail, but does form a few inches before then. It too is made of feathers. The first few feathers that run along the sides of her tail tip start out pretty small, reaching a length five inches for the smallest of them. The final feather, by contrast, which extends from the exact position of her tail tip reaches nearly two feet! If not more. This fan is also used for making sharp turns. Both fans can be adjusted slightly at her well whilst flying and have different resting positions. The pair of fans stick almost straight out, but are angled down to a small degree. The feathers of the tail-tip fan stick in a more upwards position when resting and usually stays there unless she is in a tight spot. These fans puff up just as her fur can when surprised or distressed.

The Seer’s facial features do somewhat continue her streamline persona. Her head and snout are somewhere in between “narrow” and “broad” in shape, being a clear mix of mammalian and draconic. Two sections look to be almost completely connected, with a slight dip occurring when going from the head to the snout. Though, it is by no means a straight line. Her head has mostly rounded edges which curve gently into each section. The fur around her cheeks helps with this aesthetic as they are a bit fluffier than most other areas of her body – once again, looking like a feline’s. The edges of her snout, however, are angled a bit sharper than others. There is no nose horn present. Atop her head sits six horns – three pairs each – all of differing sizes and lengths. These are her only physical defensive structures, for the most part. The first pair rests a little ways behind her eyes (a bit short of the midway line between them and the following horns), arching up and backwards. They are the skinniest of the three but are not brittle, and only reach around 6 inches in length. The points of these two are sharp but broad. The second pair emerges from the top-back of her head and is a bit thicker than the previous horns. Its motion curves it slightly down before it arches back up quicker than it previously had been “moving” and coming to a sharp point. They measure around eleven inches in length. The third and final pair of horns sprout from the back of her skull. Right out of the gate, this pair immediately slopes downwards before curving upwards for a bit and into the long pointed end. This is the thickest of the three sets of horns and measures to be around one foot in length. All of the horns hold a smooth texture. Between her second and third horns, two long ears protrude from her head (one on each side). They are narrow and measure up to around seven inches. What is likely one of the most mystical of her physical elements resides around her horns. A ball – shiny like polish obsidian – floats around her horns in odd shapes and patterns. While looking nothing like them, it does appear to be made of the same substance as her horns. This ball is connected to one of her many abilities and is vital for her well being. She cannot live without it. Her eyes also hold a mystic element to them. They hold no pupils at all and are of one solid color. She is not blind, however. She can see perfectly fine! Though, this lack of pupils combined with her natural habitat do make bright light difficult to deal with – even if the crystals of her caves casted some. Her eyes cannot adjust as fast as others, and may be in discomfort for a while. Her teeth are all sharp and are designed to cut through and tear meat. However, there are some molar-like teeth towards the back of her mouth which are designed for grinding up plants.

Visani’s wings are the pinnacle of her build. Nearly all of her other aspects are centered around their very existence and thus wouldn’t be the way they are without them. Her semi-hollow bones, broad chest, tail structure, all of it were designed to support these vital and fascinating structures. Their importance comes from the sheer number of them, counting up to six individual wings in total. They are separated in three pairs and each have a different wingspan. The front most pair is around thirty-two foot wingspan which is the most modest of the bunch. They, like the others, all share the responsibility of catching lift, propelling her forward, and making adjustments to location and angle. Though, these mainly focus on the medium adjustments – where the thrust of her largest set of wings is too which while that from the small is just too little. The second pair is her largest, stretching out with a wingspan of thirty-six feet. These two are the powerhouses, providing the most thrust to her flaps. Just one strong push is enough to send her multiple feet forwards. Adjustment wise, they focus on the major ones. Though her other two hop in on the drastic change if more speed is needed. The third and final set of wings comes in around thirty feet in length collectively. Their focus is on minor adjustments to angle and position, and balance. Though, the other two wings do balance each other out rather well. All of these begin to sprout from the usual area of a dragon (around the shoulders) and follow each other in a tight line. Feathers cover these wings, owl-like in their composition. Flaps are mostly silent thanks to this and make for some added stealth. Though, landing near another is a clear giveaway to her presence thanks to the rush of wind she is bound to create. No wing claws or fingers can be seen.

The mystical dragoness’ colors are truly a sight to behold – not lacking in beauty in the slightest. She takes on a more fantastical approach to things, with camouflage being the least of her concerns. Then again, considering her abilities, it doesn’t really need to be. Her fur mostly takes on a dark purple color, nearing what most would consider to be pure, pitch black darkness but far enough away that its true shade is noticeable. There is not much contrast from this coloration, besides some few select areas. Along the sides of her neck is one such difference. An interesting fade of sorts begins a bit after her head and shifts between various hues of purple and pink. Though, some are more prominent than others. It forms a sort of enclosed “line” down her neck with each of the colors fading inwards towards the center. It first lightens from the dark purple of its surroundings into a more royal shade with the slightest hint of pink within it. From here it goes into an almost rosy pink and then into a near-white lilac. These colors are not evenly spaced either, with the royal purple and rosy pink being mere small sections while the near-white takes up a much larger portion. The royal purple of this marking runs down to her shoulders and, naturally, fades out upon reaching her first pair of wings. Another, less detailed fade begins across upper edges of each of her wings. This “new” fade takes a similar design to the first, but lacks the lilac. Instead, a darker and duller shade of that rosy pink acts as the middle of this fade. But it fades out midway towards the wing joint where the fur becomes a lighter shade of the royal purple. The whole fade ends and shifts back into the usual dark purple at the wing joint. A similar but larger marking to the one on her neck is found along her sides, right where her underbelly and upper body meet. It does not go near her legs though and is not connected to any other fades. All of the same colors as what was seen in the neck fade are included here, though some streaks of indigo have made their way into the design. Small versions of these markings also coat lower cheeks, above her eyes, and down the middle of her head and snout. They all lack the near-white lilac, much like that on her wings, but still contain some of the other colors as fades. All these fades almost look metallic in sheen. In other words, shiny. It is unclear how the fur comes about looking this way, but it’s best not to question it too much. The female’s underbelly is also almost entirely of the usual dark purple, but there is a semi-thin line of lighter purple (a bit off from the royal shade) that runs down the center of underbelly and the underside of her neck. It fades out before reaching her head but does run slightly down her tail.

Another color found amongst her multi-purple fur is a dark shade of magenta. It is closer to black than the purple of the majority of her body, but still holds its purpley-pink hue. This color forms the patterns of this dragon, aside from the fades she possesses. It starts out along her head at the very tip of her upper snout where it covers everything up to her nostrils. Almost looking like a beak, if not for the obvious fur. From here, it separates into smaller splotches – fading into existence as it climbs up her snout and head, creating “arrow” like shapes as they go. Underneath these arrows (but above the fade within the area) is a white marking in the shape of a four-point star that lies in the middle of her forehead. Its “north” and “south” points both extend up or down her head respectively. The south point does cut down her snout but stops a bit before the beak-like marking. Some spots of this color form around her eyes, cheeks, and lower ears. Almost like the patterns of a jaguar (a recurring theme that will be showing up again). Her eyes are also encircled by this magenta which does extend towards the tip of her snout. However, two white dots – one larger than the other – do break up this magenta while still being contained within it. This is more akin to the markings of a cheetah than it is to a jaguar. The rest of her ear is covered in the same magenta with an oval-like spot of near-white lilac at its center. The inside, however, contains a purple fade which utilizes the dark purple of her fur and the royal purple of the earlier fades. It starts out dark, grows lighter towards the middle, then darkens again. Upon reaching her neck, the arrows begin to form back into one singular mass of dark magenta that runs along her spine. It goes all the way down to the tip of her tail. Coming down from this line are rosettas which mimic those of a jaguar. These large spots are also of a dark magenta shade and cover the entirety of her sides and upper edges of her wings with patterns exactly like those of the big cat they resemble. They do overlap the fades seen in her fur, but do not cover them to their entirety. However, they do extend into the “underbelly” portion of her body with a few secluded spots being the exception. But they do not touch the lighter-line of this area. Incredibly small white spots are sprinkled along her back, upper tail, and upper neck, coating the magenta in their blaring contrast. They almost look like stars among the dark magenta or even the light of distant crystals in a dim-lighted room. A somewhat broad almost-line of them runs down from the bunch on her shoulders and over to her wings where they follow the same pattern as the other markings which have come across this very area – sticking to the upper edges. More can be found around tip of her snout, upper cheeks (running in a line from the fur around her second pair of horns down to the end of the magenta eye marking, but not touching it), the top of her head (crossing over arrows and fade), and inner ears.

The wings of this “sparkly” dragoness, aside from all the aforementioned detail, start out as the dark purple of her fur. Just in feathered form. On its way down the wing, this purple slowly fades into a soft indigo. The points of each and every feather along her wings are lined with the same white dots that cover her body. Though, some dots mingle their way down from the line along the upper edge, covering only the feathers directly below this line in a light dusting of them. Among these feathers are shiny pure-black specs that appear to have a sheen to them. When hit by a certain color or light (specifically those of the crystals of her habitat) these specs will in turn reflect that coloration. It is not very bright and can be difficult to notice under the sun which she cannot reflect the light of. These specs are a good size larger than the dots lining her form. The feather fans along her tail all have the same pattern and fade. Her horns, all six of them, start out as a dark purple galaxy-like pattern. Nothing like those seen on lunar dragons, but still acquainted with such an image. Over time, this galaxy look fades into a bluish gray – with each horn having varying degrees of it. The first pair are only blue at the tip, the second a little further back from the tip, and the final a bit closer to the halfway mark. This blue does still hold the star-like pattern from before its arrival and some of the reflective specs are found in them as well. The ball floating around her horns is night-blue coloration, just slightly off from the actual color of obsidian, and has a small radius of glowing blue around it. Within it, what appears to be a barred spiral galaxy swirls about its confined space. Of course, this isn’t an actual galaxy, but it could easily be mistaken as one. The galaxy itself is light blue in color with cyan and white highlights. When in use, the ball will increase in its glow (having a radius of around three feet) and will rotate this galaxy to where it looks like an actual pupil – which is exactly what it will act like. Though, it cannot shift around like normal ones do. The real eyes of this dragoness would be considered rather haunting if not for their pure beauty. As mentioned before, they have no pupils. Nor do they contain any white elements. Instead, they are a pure spectacle of deep purple. However, when any but one of her abilities are in use, specs of light blue, cyan, and white pop up within them. The claws of her feet are pure black in color and her teeth are pure white – a stark contrast between two of her necessary “weaponry.”

The roars of this wonder of nature are honestly nothing too special. At least, in her mind. Unique? Sure, but nothing too out there. As usual, she has five main calls: broadcast, friendly, threaten, distress, and victory. Her broadcast is a rather odd sound. It seems to be a mix of the call of a morning dove mixed in with the gentle notes of a flute and bass flute. It is melodic and sounds peaceful from a distance. Almost as though she is attempting to put you to sleep. But alas, she’ll have to leave the idea of slumber to her sister. Her friendly call almost sounds similar to the chimes of an orchestra with nothing but the low hum of a flue in the background. And possibly some strums of a harp as well. Her threaten call is quite unlike all her other ones. It is a hissing like noise combined with the harsh crash of cymbals and the low rumble of a trombone. No one is quite certain on how she can go from “flute” to “trombone.” Distress picks back up with the flute trend (for the most part) and is much higher in pitch to the others. It sounds like a shrill flute mixed with a piccolo flute and maybe even some piccolo clarinet. Finally, her victory call is an absolutely glorious sound! It mimics the call of the shofar with nothing else to boot. For the most part, the note is mostly sustained, but does change in pitch occasionally – much like what you would hear from those who actually play this instrument.

The tone of Visani’s voice is just as she appears: soft. It is not necessarily quiet but can be hard to hear by some at times. Really just depends on the environment as she is usually not willing to raise her voice under any circumstance. Its pitch is around the lower end of the medium range for females, and can almost be described as the sweet serenade of a flute sustaining a low note. With some vibrato, of course. To all those who hear it, it is constantly told that it holds a sort of security and serenity to it. A voice that is as calm and safe as it is required to be. The sound of a mother, in a way. One that has yet to be irked by a misbehaving child. This sense has many a-being coming back just to hear it once more. As mentioned, her voice almost never raises in volume. Even when angry. Rather, it simply becomes like the stern, disciplining sound of an experienced mother. When it does raise, however… you may wish to start fearing for your life.

Personality:

Serious || Gentle || Wise || Helpful || Generous || Patient || Level Headed || Intelligent || Knowledgeable || Loyal || Stern || Almost Motherly || Easy Going || Forgiving || Spiritual

“I wonder… could you be the one from my visions?”

Visani is known by all for her gentleness – both exemplified by her actions and her very voice. She takes a more tender approach to life, viewing all life as precious. From the small flower to the largest tree, she respects the existence of them all. Though, she is not unwilling to harm them if they take one step too far for her liking. She may be gentle, but she is no pacifist. She carries with her a very nurturing nature, offering as much guidance and advice as possible without holding one’s hand the whole way. And she is wise about it as well – giving only what one ought to know and letting them figure out the rest. But rest assured, what little she gives is almost always useful, no matter how much it goes against one’s hopes or expectations. Combined, these two aspects cause many to see her as a sort of motherly figure. In a sense. It is difficult to not enjoy her presence, but doesn’t treat any as a child – unless they are one, of course. She comes off as a bit too curt at times to be a truly motherly figure. But, that may change if she even starts a family of her own.

Like any gentle person, the purple dragoness holds a large amount of patience and is pretty level headed. She is very tolerant of something taking long stretches of time to happen or be completed. She is fine with delays, annoyances (which she generally finds amusing), and others in general. Being snappy or rude towards her is just water under the bridge. At the most, they’d get either some advice or sometimes teasing comebacks. She will never act aggressive unless it is the only option left. Constantly something unimportant off constantly is alright in her book and she generally accepts them without question. Unless it is of immense importance, of course. And personal issues, no matter how groundbreaking, often just get a tired smile as she works towards fixing them. All throughout this, she never loses hope in the idea of getting out of the situation safely.

It is incredibly easy to get along with this female. Her personality matches up with so many others, even those a bit rough around the edges. She is a sort of “go with the flow” sort of dragon and will act in different ways with each being she meets. If they’re a bit of an anxious type, she’ll keep her approach slow. If they’re energetic, she’ll try and match their energy. Aggressive? No problem. She won’t push any buttons and will show as much respect as possible. She is also incredibly forgiving! There is honestly nothing that one could do that would lead to her holding a grudge. Or, at the very least, holding a grudge until the end of time. She will eventually forgive them, even if they do nothing to earn it. And she will always truly mean what she says: “I forgive you.”

The Seer is quite the helpful and generous soul. She constantly goes out of her way to provide aid to others, even if it is at a very inconvenient time or out of the way. She could very well be running from danger, only to stop and help another – quite possible putting her life on the line in the process. Giving something of her own to someone else is also on the table, with there being very little she wouldn’t be willing to give up. As long as it is within reason, of course. Walking away from one in need causes an ache in her chest that is impossible to ignore – one that consistently murmurs into her mind “you are heartless.”

Seeing as her whole deal is about seeing future events and outcomes, it is of no surprise that she is considered to be of high intelligence. Facts are not uncommon to hear from her, no matter how trivial. As long as she finds it interesting, she’s willing to cough up the info. She is also quite knowledgeable. Once again, of no surprise to anyone. She knows a lot about the world, but especially of what is bound to come. She also has the tendency to study her environment, learning all she can about it. If there is something she has yet to learn about, she will jump right to the possibility of changing that. (No wonder she finds the knights so interesting…)

Loyalty is a virtue that Visani absolutely holds. Not by a fault, but she is always sure to be there for those considered dear. And she will do a lot for them. At least, what is within her own capabilities. It is also with these beings that she can be a bit serious and stern towards. Particularly when they screw up or step out of line. Once more, she acts like a mother in this regard – scolding them for their mistakes. Though, she is a bit more curt while doing so to others. Her loved ones just get the slight benefit of the doubt.

Is this really that surprising? Her visions and prophecies have to come from somewhere, after all, and that someone must be a higher being. Who else could possibly send such knowledge down to her? The universe itself? No, that is just ridiculous. While others may not share her sentiment, she knows that there is a higher power out there. One that is loving and merciful. There is no doubt in her mind about this. Not even those who try and argue over this with her can change her mind. Nor will be offended if they attack her beliefs. That would just show a lack of faith, after all. Though, her beliefs do not lead her to hate others. Not in the slightest. She may disagree with certain things, but she will love them despite that. She is also much more worried about her actions and responses to others than material things. Her soul and spirit come first.

Abilities:

Foresight

Visani’s abilities are unlike any others. They are never straight forward, and always contain twists and turns that one could never expect. Case in point, the female’s “foresight” is not like the prophetic insights of others of her kind for she does not see the actions or events of distant ‘morrow. Instead, she can see the result of things that have already occurred. Whether that results in the flashing image of a future family across her eyes, or the telling of a death bolting across her vision like a bolt of lightning – detailing the exact pose, expression, wound or issue, and weapon, tool, or ability used to strike the blow.

Prophetic Reflections

The only way the purple female can “properly” see future events is through an ability she calls “prophetic reflections.” And it basically works just as it sounds. Upon looking into a reflective object or substance (water, crystals, mirrors, clear ice, and similar objects), slow moving scenes will begin to play out. These scenes always seem to predict things that have yet to become reality. Generally, they always end up being bad omens and are often cryptic or brief flashes of images. Murmurs of death hidden behind blank eyes, whispers of destruction through crumbling cave walls, and the like. Though, they are not confined to be “bad.” She has some rather neutral ones, but they more so come in flashes like those of her “foresight” ability. Still, they remain ever cryptic and vague. Their date is unpredictable, as no hints towards it are ever given. One event could happen mere seconds after receiving the vision. Others, hundreds of years later or maybe even past her own death. The time the visions last also varies. While witnessing these events, Visani is completely immobilized – stuck staring at the object of substance. She is also practically blind, being unable to see anything around her. Nor can she hear or feel the touch of others. She can be quite forgetful of these foretellings as well, unless she finds it particularly interesting. The moment these visions come about depends completely on the circumstances. At times, she can choose to see them – though these tend to be muddled and even more cryptic than the others she can receive. She has to focus hard on her task in order to even see anything, however, so all around her must remain still and quiet. The topic of the vision is up to her, but she is not always guaranteed that she will receive word on it. But there is always a chance that looking at a reflection (of anyone or thing) at any given time can trigger her power. These are always incredibly detailed (although still rather cryptic, just not to the usual degree) and can even come with smells and sounds that only see can hear. Sometimes even touch can be sensed from others interacting with her within it. It is impossible to draw her out of this type of vision until it concludes. What she sees always has to do with the reflection that caused it, unless she called upon one herself. This power is completely unpredictable.

Translucent Smog

An odd sort of breath that does not cause direct harm towards others. Unless a strong intent is held that is (which is incredibly uncommon). This breath does not come out like some others which are like balls or streams of a particular element. Instead, this ability billows from her maw like heavily condensed air – which it probably is. Thus, she cannot aim with it. When emitted, it runs down her body and forms a slow-moving “cloud” across the group, almost like smoke, fog, or smog. This cloud is pretty thick, but can be moved with the right amount of air. This smog is actually rather stunning, looking akin to the starry void of space. Though, it is highly recommended that one does not enter it nor go anywhere near it. Upon inhalation, this breath creates a sort of psychotic affect which has been known to overwhelm the victim. Somehow, some way, this breath allows the dragon to share the knowledge of the past, present, and future as well as all its outcomes. Even some that she herself has never seen. Though, a lot of it does come from what has been trapped inside that head of her’s for all these years. She cannot pick and choose which events the victim sees. From the victim’s perspective, it will be a multitude of flashing images – still and moving – that have no concise timeline. To her, it’s someone freaking out about all they’re learning. Though, they never retain the images they see within their memory. The length of the effect depends on the amount inhaled. This ability is mainly used (in an offensive sense) as an escape method. However, it has a second, more passive usage in the form of the following ability.

Lucent Fur

“Lucent Fur” is actually a pretty fascinating ability. Essentially what it is is a cloaking or invisibility power, making her appear transparent minus the occasional shiny glimmers here and there. Though, they only really appear when she is hit by light at a certain angle. These glimmers mainly appear along her sides where her wings are folded against it, right where her reflective spots are. In order to become transparent, she will have to have her entire body come into contact with her breath. For aerial usage, she will twirl in a circle while emitting her fog-like breath, folding in her wings after gaining enough momentum to stay in an upwards or forwards direction. This twirling motion causes the condensed air to coat her entire body momentarily and thus turns her invisible. It is much simpler to become translucent on the ground. All she must do is breathe some smog while running forwards. This ability allows for some quick getaways or stealth approaches. However, this lucent appearance only lasts for twenty seconds, so she must be incredibly quick. And there is a cool down of around two minutes.

Forward Gaze

Remember that ball that just casually hangs around her horns? Well, it actually has a usage! By pushing the ball out and away from her horns, she can use it as an eye. Its sight is amazing and can see things from many miles away. It is not hindered by harsh light, pitch-black darkness, dust, or basically anything that can affect normal eyes. While this “eye” of hers cannot directly see through walls (no x-ray vision around here), it can see what may be hiding behind a wall if it was spotted before it when there. You see, once this ball spots something, an outline begins to form around the being that only she can see which details shapes – even through walls. Its color completely depends on what brings the most contrast to the critter and surroundings. The duration and brightness of these outlines depend completely on the length of time under its gaze. The longer one is, the brighter and longer it lasts. The less, the shorter and duller. During this ability’s usage, this ball can be stolen by another. This can spell disaster.

Strengths:

+ Aerial Speed: Six wings equals speed! But seriously, she’s one of the fastest dragons to exist while in the air. Not at all the fastest (that goes to the air and storm dragons), but she is pretty hard to catch up with.

+ Aerial Agility: Having six wings, while being a handful, is very beneficial for anything aerial (as was exemplified by her speed). With so many feathery extensions plus the multitude of tail fans, she is quite agile in flight – being able to out maneuver most other dragons with some exceptions. And for good reason too, since she cannot take a hit without fearing for her life.

+ Stealth: Is there really any surprise? Between the owl-like feathers which are known to be mostly silent, lightweight build, and lucent fur, she can sneak up on some of the most attentive beings to exist. She makes very little noise without meaning to, so one would have to strain their ears to hear her coming.

+ Knowledge: Another obvious strength. Comes with the whole “I can see the future” spiel she has. Still, she is knowledgeable on things outside of this ability and can give great advice to those willing to lend their ears.

+ Large Vision Range: Mostly impart due to her final ability, Visani can see things that are very long distances away. And even follow or get a close look from a distance by using that ball of hers. Though, when not in certain areas, her natural eyesight is no joke! It is like that of a bird of prey, specifically that of an eagle and can easily focus in on a single object while she herself is in motion.

+ Patience: The almost “sparkly” dragon can deal with a lot of annoyances and issues before she finally loses her cool. It is incredibly difficult for anything to get under her skin, no matter how long the problem is sustained. She is often the one holding others back in their anger while she looks one with a bored and concerned expression. Or a look of ‘you really let this get to you?’

+ Stamina: The benefit of having such a broad chest is the ability to take in more air. Visani’s heart and lungs are humongous, especially designed for sustaining the flapping of her plethora of wings. This amount of oxygen intake allots for an amazing amount for stamina which she can utilize to remain flying or running for a multitude of hours. Even up to an entire day for flying! Though, she does have her limits and will be completely drained for some time afterwards. The only remedy to this is rest and large consumption of food.

Weaknesses:

- Bright Light: Seeing as she lives in crystalline caves, it is of no surprise that bright environments put a decent amount of strain on her eyes – making it rather difficult to see for stretches of time. May even outright disorient her if jarring enough. It can also give away her presence while cloaked if it hits her just right, and it makes reflections difficult to see – preventing her powers from working at times. Though, this hinderage can be nullified if her “forward gaze” ability is in use. To an extent.

- Throwaway Sight: When using her “forward gaze” ability, this dragon cannot see anything around her. She can hear, smell, and feel things, yes, but not see. She is nearly completely defenseless during this time and can be snuck up on during this time. Her “eye” can also be stolen when in use! This causes her immense pain until the ball is returned that is immensely distracting. And there is no telling what the being will do with in the meantime. Her sight will be completely cut off during this time (both through the ball and her actual eyes).

- Limited Cloaking Time: The time the dragon can spend cloaked is incredibly limited, and the space between use is even longer. It is truly a “get out there fast” ability.

- Durability: Yeah, this dragoness can’t take hits. At all. To any part of her body. For starters, the lack of scales is quite the downside. Even if her fur does bring some benefits. Secondly, her lightweight build had led to rather brittle bones which can be quite the issue if her opponent is a heavyweight. And finally, she has absolutely no physical defense – such as spines or spikes – whatsoever along anywhere but her head. The only thing she has for defensive measures are her abilities. At least she can pack a decent punch.

- Disabling Visions: See the ability “Prophetic Reflections” for more information, but this essentially leaves an opening for others to attack. They also leave her unable to sense anything around her.

- Selectively Forgetful: Unless she finds something particularly interesting or shocking, she is undoubtedly going to forget it. Even if the piece of information is vital to the current situation. Thank goodness she has her sister around to help her remember everything she can.

- High Metabolism: A downside to all those wings of hers. While spectacular stamina, amazing aerial agility, and blazing speeds is all fine and dandy, it can take quite the toll on her body. To make up for this, she has adapted to consuming and processing large amounts of food at one setting. The food can be either animal or plant based, so long as it gives her enough energy. She doesn’t have to eat constantly but she still has to intake a large amount before the day is over.

Other:

- Visani may or may not like playing with rubber duckies when bathing. It’s basically a bird bath for her, after all.

- This pretty female lived in crystalline caves all her life, surrounded by objects that could allow her to use her abilities to her fullest.

- The galaxy surrounded female despises holding grudges. She tries to forgive and forget as often as possible, but sometimes things just really get under her skin.

- Besides sometimes raising her head in shock, the purple dragoness always remains still while receiving visions.

- If the ball is stolen and then destroyed, the dragon will either die or become permanently blind. Dying is more likely though.

- When asleep, the ball around her horns will attach itself to one of their tips. It cannot be removed in this state. It also seems to have a sort of magnetic draw to the horns while awake, so one must catch it before it returns to her body if they wish to have it.

- She is what humans would describe as a Christian. Just not those that hate on all who see things differently than she. She finds that absolutely despicable and against her faith as a whole.

As always, let me know if you'd have me change something. ^^

However, this ability requires her full concentration and can be broken if her focus is disrupted.

Multifaceted Linguist: Asphodelia is fluent in a wide range of languages, which aids her in diplomacy, deciphering codes, and navigating diverse cultural landscapes.

Intricate Knowledge of Poisons: Beyond using poisons as a weapon, Asphodelia has a deep understanding of antidotes and remedies. This knowledge allows her to counteract poisons when needed.

Photographic Memory: Asphodelia possesses a photographic memory, which allows her to recall intricate details, faces, and even documents with remarkable accuracy.

1. Strategic

2. Sure-footed (agile)

3. Seductive

4. Master of Camouflage

Weaknesses:

1. Hot temper

2. Overly Confident

3. Vulnerable to Antidotes: While her poisons are deadly, they can be neutralized by the right antidotes or medical treatment, so she must be cautious when dealing with knowledgeable foes.
