Thoughts On The Trials:

She thinks that they're a good way to get rid of those that're weak and unfit to serve the pack. After all, the pack has only survived so long because of how powerful they are. At least, in her opinion.

Appearance:

Nephthys is what would be considered a behemoth of a wolf, standing at almost 35 inches at her shoulder. Although, this female's height is mostly made up of her immense amount of muscle and fur. Nephthys is most heavily built around her shoulders, hindquarters, and the tops of her legs, which grow more slender nearing the paws. This gives Nephthys not only amazing running capabilities so that she can pursue and take down any prey that she happens to run across, but she also has immense physical abilities. So, even if her opponent is larger than her, Nephthys will take them down without a sweat due to her strength. In fact, she may even be the most skilled warrior among her pack. Her heavy build does come with a cost, though; her stamina and endurance. It takes this she-wolf a lot of effort to haul herself around with her weight and muscular build. Running puts a great strain on her body, so Nephthys relies on taking her prey down with one blow during a hunt. She also can't endure anything that is carried out for a long period of time, whether it be fighting, climbing; anything will wear her out in no time. She can't take on multiple opponents well nor withstand hot temperatures.

Nephthys's coat is an unusual color. It's a light, pure white with darker streaks of a more yellowish color mixed into it. Near her overly soft, matted tail covered in fur, Nephthys has one, narrow strip of dull gray that is rather short and unnoticable. What is noticeable, though, is that this female's neck and chest fur is extremely overgrown and fluffy, as well as slightly darker in coloration than the rest of her pelt. Her ears are lined with black and covered in a thick layer of fluff just like the rest of her body, so Nephthys sometimes has a hard time hearing from a distance. Her nose works just fine, though, and has a light brownish streak just above it that goes no further up her face than in between her sky blue eyes. With her white fur, nobody is better at hiding in the snow during winter than this she-wolf. Plus, it's so fluffy that even during the most frigid of days, Nephthys may still feel a tad warm.

Nephthys's snout is broad and of medium length, with a nose that has an amazing sense of smell. She's got sharp, blood-stained claws and her rows and rows of sharp, deadly white teeth are almost as scary and sharp as blades. But, some of her teeth are chipped from encounters with enemies or kicks from larger prey. She's got many smaller scars across her body, the biggest and nastiest being one that goes across her face. Nephthys thinks that it makes her look cool, but, really, it just makes her look scary.

Personality:

Nephthys's personality is interesting, to say the least. Or, rather, she is a female that any wolf would want to steer clear of, harboring a sadistic nature that enjoys inflicting pain and suffering onto her enemies. The only thing that she truly looks forward to is the thrill of the battle, and the bloodshed that comes with it. A wolf of no mercy and an unlimited supply of ruthlessness, Nephthys is unafraid to show how much amusement she takes in killing in ways more brutal than imaginable; she's not one to be messed with or taken lightly. One wrong move or slip up, and you'll surely be killed in a most painful way. She's an experienced fighter and hunter who can catch even the faintest signs of faltering, Nephthys knows when to strike when tasked with dealing with a difficult foe, though a majority are lucky enough to die in one blow. Perhaps it was years of relentless fighting that made her this way, or maybe it’s just like second nature to her.

Nephthys absolutely despises conceitedness, and isn't afraid to call somebody out for it. But, she is an extreme hypocrite; this she-wolf is practically the embodiment of arrogance. Sometimes, commands issued to her are nothing more than words in this wolf's book, and she won't hesitate to laugh them off unless of the utmost importance. Though, over time she has become more obedient. She struts around like she owns everything and is on top of the world, because she truly thinks that she is. With a puffed out chest and tail that is stuck up high, anybody could tell that Nephthys is a wolf with two things; arrogance and authority. The truth is, even though Nephthys stands at the proud rank of sentinel, she still wants to get a better position in the pack. She thirsts for power- can't get enough of it, but can't seem to climb higher in the ranks. This is not because she isn't qualified for the job of a beta or an alpha, but, probably because of her personality. If she were to lead a pack, they would surely fall to ruin.

Nephthys is an aggressive wolf who will guard both her territory and her life with everything that she has in her, which are the traits that allowed her to rise to the rank of sentinel. And even though she wants to stand at a rank of higher power and importance, she'd never kill her own packmates just to get her way, though she came close to doing it many times. Loyalty to her pack is one of Nephthys's good traits, in fact, she has so much of it that it's like she has cold, heavy shackles on that're preventing her from doing anything against any of her allies. She finds traitorous actions despicable and betrayal unforgivable, so much so that she won't hesitate to kill anybody that commits this crime. Of course, with permission from her higher-ups, that is. Nephthys has a great deal of courage, but not so much so that she's willing to do anything stupidly brave. She won't put her life at risk just to show off her heroics.

It may not appear like it, but this sentinel female is protective of all those close to her and will put her life on the line for their wellbeing. Her pack will always be standing at third place on her list of priorities, just below herself and those that she holds dearest to her. Don't get the wrong idea, though; Nephthys is aware of her duties and will still fight for her pack, but she won't ignore a friend in danger just to save somebody else from her pack. She's got an unrealistic, extreme imagination which is something that most find strange considering all of this female's other personality traits. She's also very easy to befriend, though she isn't sure who would want to be her friend since she sends so many to meet their ends and takes enjoyment in things that don't appeal to a majority of other wolves. She also tends to be manipulative and a bit of a liar at times, intent on getting what she wants.

The last unlikeable point of this wolf is her coldness. She's often distant and aloof to all but her friends. Unless, that is, you happen to make a foe out of her, in which case she'll gladly go out of her way to mess with you if she hasn't already ripped you apart. And, she's very harshly blunt. You don't like what Nephthys is telling you, even though it's the truth? The world is a lot harsher, so suck it up, because Nephthys won't do it for you.
