Appearance:
Solomon's first attribute that people tend to notice about his physical appearance is his seemingly ordinary appearance. The only striking thing about him is his height and even then, he only stand 6'0" even. He might look over the crowd just a bit but not by much. His skin is a fair color tinged with tan from days in the sun, as such a fair amount of freckles pepper his face and arms--as well as his shoulders. Even if those small freckles aren't always obvious.
His hair is a warm brown color, a bit dark with a red undertone. It helps his skin seem far more warm and lively, definitely more of an autumn complex. However, to contrast his autumn complex is the vibrant blue eyes that he bears. His sapphire gaze can often be compared to the sea. They're gentle, they're soft, they're not too harsh.
His clothing is generally more simple with a white button-up long sleeve with the sleeves rolled up. He tends to wear darker khaki-colored pants and brown boots as well.
It doesn't often change from this. It's just exactly what he wears. "Why fix it if it ain't broken?" As they say.

Personality:
Saul's first presentation is a very bubbly, very outgoing sort of guy. He's got a lot of energy it seems and that has a tendency to be a lot more than he can usually handle. What he has in energy, he lacks in braincells.
He is--well, about .5% of his entire being is worry. Saul is more of a do-now, think-later sort of person. Which often leads into strange and unusual circumstances. That being said, however, he does startle very easily and this is to be expected considering the forest and night and the whole "demon" aspect of things. He startles fairly easily and will react accordingly. Be it, not moving, running, playing dead or acting like he didn't see a thing.
When it comes to difficult situations, he has a tendency to try and calm himself down and others by making it a bit lighter. He'll crack a joke, smile and try and laugh a bit, just being open. Which, obviously, is not helpful in some situations but he really doesn't know how else to react often times.
Deep down, he also has this feeling that he... just doesn't fit in either. The idea of someone actually liking him? Yeah right. There's no way. He's not... like the others. He doesn't have a fancy car, just the farm truck. That poor thing is suffering. The being colored, rusty 1970 F250 with dirty rims, old tires and hay sticking out of every place... the seats? No... just no. He doesn't have a nice suit or shoes. He's just him. He doesn't drink like others do, he can't. It doesn't sit well with him. So the thought of someone liking him is foreign, he figures everyone just tolerates him at best and that's okay.
He's okay with that, he doesn't mind it. There will always be someone better than him for someone.
He'll crack a joke always making fun about that.
Mostly because crying or any sort of anxiety/worry gives him a migraine and he doesn't appreciate that.
Strengths:
Build and strength. At the very least, Saul has a good build going for him. Height, shoulders and muscle. He makes a great meat shield.

Quick Thinking. Saul is quick at thinking. He'll come up with an idea faster than fast. Now if it's a good idea? That could be ... questioned.

Perseverance. Saul will keep going no matter what. He'll persevere through a lot of things. Even if it means ignoring his own pain.

Weaknesses:
Brains. Boy howdy, Saul is not exactly the most "smart" of the bunch. He's got ideas. Not all great ones but he's got them. That's worth something right?

Stubborn. Good heavens, Saul is stubborn. He has his set ways and pulling him out of them can often be like pulling teeth unless he's dumb enough (or tricked) to somehow think it's a good idea.

Injuries. Getting and having injuries. Saul has some old injuries that still flare up and cause problems. But when he has an injury? Good luck getting him to treat himself for it. "If he's still standing, he's fine."

Background:
Good luck. If there is one thing that Saul doesn't talk about (and he yaps a lot) it's his background. He will brush it off by saying it's just too boring and it's not as exciting as everyone else.

Well, it really isn't. In theory.

Saul was originally from Louisiana. He loved it there. He had friends, he rode horses, did rodeo, everyone felt the same. And looked the same way he did. That was what he wanted.

And then his parents moved his family of five up to New Jersey. Of all places. New Jersey. Solomon Hale had never said he would hate a place. But boy howdy did he find out how wrong that was.

The people were rude, the air was crusty, there was too many people and they were mean. The kids? Worse. He moved up in eighth grade no less. Middle schoolers are cruel.

Saul turned inward and focused hard on his studies. He took summer classes, just poured out his heart and soul into studying and then--after he had graduated early at 16, got himself a quick job.

His family loved New Jersey. Saul couldn't figure out why. He really couldn't.

Instead, once he had enough money, Saul left. It took him about six months to garner enough money to just leave. He took a job on a ranch outside of some town in Virginia. But it was nice. It was... actually quiet. Ish. It was weird but it wasn't New Jersey so he was good with it.

The old rancher was hill-billy and redneck but Saul didn't care as much. Until he died five years later and Saul actually had to take over.

That was not in his forecasted future but there he was.

So he settled in for a long, long life. But hey, he had horses. He had cows. Most of them dairy cows. It was good enough, even if the actual town was ... weird. They had this thing about monsters and hunting them. Whatever, tourists did their thing.

Even still, the deep hit from New Jersey, finding everyone calling him the hick or whatever from Louisiana stuck with him. He finds its best if he knows more about them--so that he can help others feel included--rather than sharing stuff about himself.

Until it was ... less touristy and he was starting to figure out that it was... real-real. So he tends to stick around in town during the night--if not sticking in the inn. He's not about to be out alone at the ranch at night. It's been a common thing to see him in the inn at night for the last five years. He has a bag, checks in to "his" room that he always buys in advance. Sunrise hits and he goes back out to the ranch. Sundown hits and he's back in town.

Saul has determined that carrying an obsidian cross in his pocket is the safest way to go. He's only kind of smart. Mostly kind of dumb.
