When looking at this female you noice her dark golden fur. With her underbelly being lighter and her having splashes of white or cream on her chest and around her neck. She also has lighter strands of hair on her neck as well. The tip of her tail is charcoal black. On her body is a fair amount of healed scars, some small and unnoticeable- while one or two may stand out more than others. They all have different stories some from accidents, a too rough sparring session, or maybe a mishap with a hunt. Other than that it tells of her experience and age.

This female stands at 3.7 feet tall and weighs in around 280 to 300 pounds. So she'd be considered a medium sized lioness with her body being a well-balanced mixture of power and speed. This size gives her the advantage and helps her be an excellent huntress and one you could rely on in a hunt. Her body is muscular and a tad bit lean but their is a slight broadness to her shoulders - she has long limbs that help her gracefully move around and move swiftly. Thought she'd be consider smaller than some lionesses, she's still one you want to count in on a fight because she can be quick and agile.

The first noticeable thing about this female is the air that surrounds her. The air of confidence and power - the way she walks in a room and it commands attention and respect. The way she walks with the grace and confidence of a well-mannered dame, her posture and body is never lacking and you will never catch her slipping. She holds her head high with almost always a stern or serious expression on her face - one would assume that she is some snobby brat by the way she looks and holds herself. However, this isn't the case - yes she has a very high standard for how she would like things to go and she is confident in herself, but not to the point of arrogance. She speaks with elegance and class, always holding herself in a prim and proper manner, you will never even see a fur on her head because she make sure it will not show. Her words are always charming and ladylike - her voice brimming with confidence and daintiness, she can speak with flowery speech. Being able to drive hard bargains and negotiate very effectively, also has a knack for catching people off guard with her intelligence - not to mention she is able to verbally psychoanalysis a person with pinpoint accuracy after being with them for even just an hour or few hours at most.

This woman is wickedly intelligent. Able to take in and soak even the littlest pieces of information to make an accurate deduction. She is also intrigued and enthralled by intelligence - strategizing and coming up with plans of action and carrying them out being her specialty. She is quite opinionated, even if she doesn't regularly give or express her opinion on serious subjects - however if asked she will comfortably be able to give an answer. She loves learning, knowledge is power to her and she makes sure to make the most of it. After all, what's the use of having a brain if she doesn't use it to the best of her ability. This female also can be cunning and manipulative when needed, she's the one you call if you want revenge - she knows how to play with people's strings just the way she needs to get what she needs or wants. She can be the sweetest charmer, a chaste female, or a temptress, or if you try her the most venomous serpent. Her words are her weapon and she knows how to affectively use them, she tells people what they want to hear and lets it go from them - not necessarily outright lying by a half-truth if you will. However she is able to weave and concor stories on a whim. She knows how to be shrewd and play her cards right, especially with enemies. She's witty and sharp - and anyone who doesn't know that about her or underestimates her will find themselves at her mercy.

This woman has a very protective and motherly nature. Cubs are her weakness even though she won't admit it. She may have a scowl on her face when seeing children, or derogatorily call them "little goblins" because of their outrageous behavior at times - however she is definitely a sucker for their big, innocent eyes and the dumb and cute things they do. She is the one to become attached to a cub and name herself their wine drinking auntie . Once she claims a cub - they are under her protection and she protects with a vengeance. She may be ladylike but she's not above getting down and dirty with the parent of the cub who hurt her honorary niece or nephew. And she's also the one to teach her nieces how gaslight males and other cubs when needed and she also teaches them how to go for the jugular in a fight, and for her boys she does the same - along with teaching them the ways of treating a female right. She is protective of her friends and family and will not take any threat towards them lightly. She will protect them with a vengeance.

This female is able to take charge when needed. And she is an excellent communicator and is able to work with others well. This woman listens, and observes others very well, able to be very perceptive and reads people like an open book. She's able to quickly deduce a lie and pick out the weak from the strong, and know who she should ally herself with. She also is a hard worker, give her a small task or small job and she will find a way to it better than it has been done. She's ambitious and knows her worth - she won't settle for being at the bottom rung of a ladder, while she's not one to actively destroy her competition or get in the way of others, everyone has a point they are pushed to. Only when she's desperate would she ever use such cutthroat methods to get what she wants, otherwise she's an honest worker who will use her talent and abilities to get where she needs. It's quite honestly scary how she can turn this fearsome side to her with a flip of the switch, and it's quite rare that she has to use it but she views it as a good thing. If people think that she doesn't have such a dark and side - then it's easier to get to them and also shows them she's not one to be trifled with.

Aina is a tall lioness, and both her late parents' genetics play in her favor. Standing at almost four feet to the shoulder, she sports a muscular but agile body type; while she is not built all-agility or all-strength, she has a nice skillset in both. Her endurance is high and, while her speed is not the most remarkable, she is in prime condition to run long distances. Her muscles are well-defined and wiry, certainly enhancing the more intimidating appearance she has.

Aina has graceful, feminine features over all. Large, pale dusty blue eyes are framed by thick eyelashes, dark skin, and sleek white fur. Her nose is a mottled mixture of pink and black with the former color congregating around the center groove. Her tongue is a pink blep. Long, shining teeth are visible with the mischievous grin she occasionally sports.

Aima's coat is white, but she has darker cream and gray shading around her face, ears, shoulders, and rump. Her fur is short, soft, and sleek, keeping her warm but also effectively shedding heat. She has a fair number of scars, though none are overly noticeable, that she has gained through mainly hunting endeavors; a few were gained from lions and lionesses in her previous pride.

Aina's voice is low and almost sultry, though it carries a hardened tone of a more dominant animal. She speaks eloquently and carries herself in a more regal manner befitting a lioness of a higher station; however, there is nothing pompous about her walk or mannerisms. She is not an arrogant creature, nor does she try to impose her ways on others. Aina leads in a more natural way, focusing first on herself and her own actions.

Personality

If loyalty and protectiveness were personified, they would be Aina. She is a quiet, reserved lioness -- until her family and her pride is threatened. Aina's strength is both physical and mental, and she will unleash all of the underworld on the unfortunate soul who dared attempt harm her family in any way. She can have quite the harsh mouth when she feels like it, and sharp claws don't hurt either.

Aina's forte is mental destruction. This female can locate a weakness and stab at buttons like no other. She whips up lies more easily than anything, and she's good at weaving stories. Of course, in her current circumstances, this gift has been used mainly for the entertainment of her younger pridemates, but there has been a time or two when she has waged psychological war on another lion or lioness. That time is coming once more.

She is quite mature. While Aina is aloof and certainly not the most outgoing creature, she can hide it when she needs to and will grin and bear it. She is adventurous, but her idiotic actions died within her first year or so of life. Now, she is much more rational in her decisions and plans before doing. She measures threats and formulates actions accordingly; there is nothing sudden or sporadic about this lioness.

She enjoys hunting, though playing with cubs is her favorite pastime. She keeps an eye on expectant or new mothers to make sure everything goes smoothly, as she has seen the drastic effects that can occur when there is a hiccup in the birthing process. In such situations -- in any stressful time, actually -- Aina maintains a level head and her composure, allowing her to think rationally and find a quick, effective solution to the problem. She is not below asking for help, though that is usually a last resort.

She is an intelligent, guarded creature, keeping nearly all of her emotions and unneccessary thoughts to herself. She can hide the aforementioned treasures quite well and can easily throw up false ones when needed. Aina hates showing weakness herself and is always striving to be "the greatest" in all that she does. It's not really a competition between her and the other lionesses; in her mind, the only opponent she needs to gain the upper hand on is herself. If someone is better suited for a job, then let them take it. Aina is not easily offended -- at least, not by personal attacks.

Then, there is the flip side to her. When threatened, or when her family is threatened, this light lioness takes on a very dark personality. She is not afraid to shed blood, and she can be downright terrifying with both her words and actions when placed in a hard spot. Aina is physically capable and, while she may not be able to take down a challenging lion, she will give them the beating of their life. She can become very revenge-driven and almost bloodthirsty. A real menace to society.

Thoughts on New Regime

He is for it. As the King, he is hoping to work with Nkiruka to restore some order and get the pride functioning again.

Appearance

Izem is a large male, weighing in at 530 lbs and standing 4.3 feet tall. His stature is an intimidating one. His body is decorated with scars varying in length and size. His most noticeable are two gashes across his nose, more circular than slice shaped, which have exposed his dark skin and no longer allow hair to grow. He also has several cuts and bite marks on his legs, shoulders, and flanks.

Izem has a cold stare. Actually, everything about him is cold. His refined posture, the soft thuds of his paws making contact with the ground, even the way his fur moves has a dangerous aura to it. His eyes are a hard amber rimmed with dark fur, making them pop out more prominently. His face is nearly always expressionless, or stony in appearance. A smile has not graced his maw in ages; the closest thing to one has been a slight twist of his upper lips into something resembling a mischievous grin or a snarl.

His voice is low and strong -- one that catches attention without needing to raise it or change his tone. When he walks, hard muscle ripples beneath a sleek, bronze pelt. Izem holds himself with a cool regality, head high, tail curled slightly. His long, thick mane is a tapestry of dark browns, golds, and honeys that spreads over his shoulders down to the end of his humerus.

Izem is a handsome lion, but he is unapproachable. Formidable. Dangerous.

Personality

He can be as chilly as his appearance would suggest. Izem has a deep, almost calming rumble of a voice that does not fit his appearance at all, but his tone can quickly grow aloof and clipped in nature. His words are curt and to the point; there is no beating around the bush with this one. If the truth is asked for, the truth shall be made known.

This lion holds strength in high regard -- not necessarily physical strength, as he knows full well that it will not always win a fight -- as well as some form of loyalty. Not necessarily loyalty to an individual; rather, the devotion to an idea or the pride as a whole. He is a calculating individual, mind always working. While he does have physical strength as an advantage, he prefers to use his head first and come up with a plan of action for whatever task lies ahead. Izem also has a fairly strong sense of vengeance. Those who harm the lions and lionesses that he cares about will not live long enough to apologize.

Izem leads in a strict way, though he is not harsh or cruel -- at least, not to pride members. Those who threaten his lions, his family, will receive no kindness from him, no matter who they are. He expects respect, and he gives it in return. He is a logical creature and, while he may be colder than some, he does not usually put his feelings or desires before the well-being of a pridemate. This lion takes his duties seriously and would lay down his life for those he rules without a second thought. Beneath his gruff exterior, he is quite altruistic and even kind.

Izem is actually, and secretly, quite fond of cubs and, when he is around them, he will often spend his free time playing with them, telling them stories, and practicing hunting or battle moves with them. They are his favorite members of his pride with their little bleps of tongues, besides the ladies, of course, for whom he will show his chivalrous side. He would take on the role of a secondary father for any cub who may feel lonely.

Those in his pride, and any lone cubs, are the only ones who will ever see a glimpse of kindness in him. For the former, he holds a tone of respect and makes sure that their thoughts are heard thoroughly before he replies. He does not ever mean to disrespect them, though he has no problem quelling disputes with a snide comment or two. That, though, is rare. Izem is his most friendly around the young.

He has a strong liking for the other members of the Chilonga pride, and he is working on a greater appreciation for the Sangaya lions; regardless of original pride, he would never think to betray them. Izem may be a king, but he remains respectful of his Queen and subordinates and would not do anything to undermine their authority or make them look bad. He might be caught joking with them occasionally, and even showing some sort of affection, though he always keeps himself looking his most powerful in their presence, or in the presence of outsiders.
