Appearance -

Ronan is a big mutt, 135 lbs and 28 inches at the shoulders. His limbs are heavy and powerful, his fore-paws wide for better grip and his webbed feet letting him scamper on lightly packed snow like a dog half his weight. His ears are triangular in shape and small, dropping lightly at the tips. His bright blue eyes are small and have very poor vision, though Ronan only ever needs to see the tail ahead of him to be a useful member of the team. His face and collar are a fluffy white, as well as his legs, belly, and tail tip. The rest of him is a soft black, making him easy to spot in the snow. Ronan suffers from an early onset of arthritis, making it hard to get up after a cold night, but he doesn't complain and intends to keep pulling as a wheel dog until he dies. There is no greater dishonor in his eyes than to be cut from the line, so he is sure to appear limber and eager when his musher is nearby.

Personality - Ronan is stoic and patient, if not slightly slow both mentally and physically. He keeps his head high and his ears forwards during races, only joining in on chatter when directly asked a question or during meal times. Due to his poor vision, he relies heavily on his nose and ears to recognize his surroundings and dislikes anyone being too loud or smelly in his immediate area. Ronan tends towards isolation, appears to be a touch lazy, and prefers to observe from the side-lines.

Affiliations - Ronan is content to haul the sled and avoid the higher energy members of the team, but has a strong loyalty to his original team. He snaps at the other wheel dog occasionally, especially early into a run before his joints warm up, and stays close to his original lead dog, Tonrar.

Other - Togo all the way, though I grew up watching the Balto movie. Togo's story is so much more interesting, man! A real underdog!

Age - 3 years old

Appearance -

Amber is a smaller dog, 20 inches at the shoulders and just about 45 lbs, despite her own hopes that she would reach her mother's size. Her light weight makes it difficult to reach the ground in deep, fluffy snow, leaving her floundering at times. Her ears are upright but slightly floppy, bouncing around when she runs, and her hair is short, straight, and thick. Her left eye is a soft brown and her right eye is a icy blue. Amber is mainly white, with copper spotting over over one eye, both ears, rump and tail.

Personality - Amber is a very energetic dog, eager to race with her line-mates and play in the snow. She loves paddling in water during the warmer months, partly for fun and partly to sooth the itchiness of her thick coat shedding out. Amber is intelligent when it comes to escaping, loathing all forms of containment, but lacks any kind of patience and is sure to be vocal about her annoyance. She is downright clingy with her musher, Aiden, and is jealous when he shows affection to others in front of her. If she could get away with it, she would happily ride in the sled with her musher instead of pulling it, though she takes pride in her work and enjoys any and all forms of excercise. Amber has a bad habit of taking off after rabbits, squirrels, or the shadows of birds when she isn't in her halter. She is new-ish to racing, never having gone for such a long survival journey before.

Strengths - Amber has boundless energy and can reach impressive speeds, assuming the snow is packed down enough for her to run on top. She is clever enough but tends to panic in emergencies.

Weaknesses - Flaky and indecisive, prone to overreactions. She has a heart defect that the breeder didn't disclose, but it hasn't slowed her down. Yet.

Other - I mean, Togo was sold and busted out and ran back to his original owners like twice, and used to escape to run with the sled dogs and was a nuisance until he was put into the halter and suddenly he's like the perfect pup! Togo is so cool.

Breed: Chinook, Alaskan Malamute mix

Appearence: He is a huge strong mutt. He stands at 25 nches tall at the shoulder. He weighs 75 pounds. His face takes after the Alaskan Malamute, while his body is like the chinook. His coat is a mix of cream with black, brown and white markings. He has a black brindle on his back and has striped paws. His eyes are gold with a hint of Amber in the center.

Personallity: Ace is a tough mutt. He always thinks he is the alpha dog. He wants to be the leader. He will protect his team form any creature that attacks them. He has gotten in many fights with wolves and other dogs and he usually wins. He does however like his teams lead dog and will allow them to lead. He loves to play with pups and hopes to soon have pups of his own.

Strengths: Ace can run at very high speeds, he is also very strong. He is also very smart.

Weaknesses: Though Ace is very fast and strong, he is also a lot of weight with a lot of fur, he is prone to overheating and exhaustion.

Other: I think Togo is better because he helped pull the longest part of the journey while Balto received the most fame.

Wolf Pride,

The description needs to be more detailed, so we can accurately picture him. Also, his size is too large. Malamutes are usually 85 max, though we'll muscled ones can top out at 100. However, Chinooks max at 70-75. With Chinooks topping out at about 27 inches tall and Malamutes at 25. If he's a giant mix, he still wouldn't be that big considering he's a mix. Plus they live relatively short lifespans.

Darya is usually calm, and level-headed. She is logical and smart about her work, choosing to look forward and ignore most distractions in her path. She will stand up for family and loved ones, as well as her humans of course. She loves with all of her heart, and is loyal.... Almost too loyal. She’d probably follow her human off of a bridge, if they led her there. If her team or her humans are in danger, she’ll likely toss aside her shy demeanor and stand in the line of fire for them. She’s smaller than she acts, though, being a rather slender female. Her bark can sometimes be worse than her bite. She’s a realist at heart, and she always tries to help out around the territory, cheering up the other dogs and the humans. . However, inside of her head, she’s always worrying about doing the wrong thing. Anxiety fills her brain often, and sometimes nerves will pile up inside of her, although she tries bot to let it affect her runs.

Darya is a smaller dog of her breeds, being lithe and agile, and a very great runner which is probably why she’s still on the team. When she has her eyes on the prize, which is usually the finish line (or the dogs in front of her), she hardly stops until she gets there.

Her fur is a very light reddish-blonde color, with her thick winter undercoat being whiter than snow. She has a little stripe of white between her eyes and down the length of her muzzle to her nose, which holds a spot of pink. The white also expands as it runs up between her ears, decorating half of her head and one of her small audits with the same white.Her tail is fluffy and long, and she carries her form with elegance and poise, especially when it is raised and fluttering like a flag in the wind as she runs with the team . Her right forepaw and her left lower hock are bright white, spreading down to her paw. The tip of her tail is also white, with a very thin line leading back up and trickling snow throughout her fluffy pelt. In a certain light, there’s an almost brindle color of white, red and brown, with the occasional strand of fluffy light gray in her undercoat .

She has striking blue eyes, colored like the brightest sapphires with good specs throughout them. Her left one had a small splotch of gold brown in her iris. One of her ears tips forwards, just a tad.
