The brute is truly a behemoth in size, standing at a towering, powerful 18.1 hands. He is nothing short of a creature of gigantic preportions. He has long, powerful legs, and a broad, powerful figure. His body is covered in strong, sinewy muscle, giving him a domineering aura with a tough-looking exterior. He has an athletic physique, body shaped in a way that excudes power. The stallion is of a dark bay colouration. His legs are a black shade, and the rest of his body barely comes above a dark brown. His neck, shoulders, and head are all nearly black, the lightest parts of him being around his shoulders and flanks. His mane and tail are long and onyx in hue. Scars spill all across his body from fights with other stallions, predators and other random mishaps. His eyes are equally dark, completely black and like shadows, showing none of his true intentions or thoughts. Personality: Chex is as brutish in demeanor as he is in appearance. With strangers, the stallion is gruff and violent, blunt and domineering. He is a being that demands respect and fear from outsiders with harsh words and harsher actions. He has little, if any, patience with unfamiliar stallions, and even less respect for those that haven't proven it. He's an experienced fighter, both due to age, experience and growing up in a large herd with lots of brothers to spar with. Aggressive is an understatement for how he treats stranger stallions. His respect is not easy to earn. To those in his herd or band, he'll be pleasant and kind, but his respect is a difficult thing to earn. It is even harder to keep. He gives limited respect to those higher-ranked than him, but anything more than basic decency has to be earned. Earned by good choices, good leading, bringing up good things. He'll be kind, but if you haven't proven yourself then it's doubtful he'll listen to you and your ideas. His offspring, and mares that give birth to his offspring, will always get a special kind of treatment. Kindness, loyalty, a soft spot in his heart that few see and fewer keep. He has a very masculine face with sharp and defined features. It almost looks sunken due to how defined it is. The remainder of his body is stocky with muscle and build, most of his strength coming from his legs and chest. He has a handsome complexion. While the male is nothing special in terms of appearance, he makes up for it in personality. He has one colour that takes up his coat, and that's black. Granted, both his mane and his tail are slightly darker than his coat, and his eyes are a dark hazel brown, but the rest of him? One, simply colour. The only semi-bright aspect of his appearance are his hooves, which are a light tan. This coat of his provides good stealth when it comes to night, for he blends right into the darkness. His scent consists of something warm yet spicy, such as cinnamon or cloves. Personality: Gentle - Peaceful - Open - Respected - Selfless - Loyal - Immature at times - Opinionated and bold - Committed - Can be aggressive - Wise and mannered Ouray is a gentle creature with a stern personality. He is known to peaceful and put together, never one to be found in the midst of arguments or fights, but rather is the type to address both parties and break them up. He much prefers serenity and order rather than the latter, and so he does his best to restore peace whenever chaos is amidst. He is also very tender hearted, and he isn't ashamed of it. His own father was, and thus, he is as well. He's the type to smile in awe at his children or shed a tear when he's proud of him. He isn't the type of father to be stoic and firm with his children or hardly offer them a smile. No, Ouray involves them in any chance he gets, always throwing them a wink or smile if he sees anybody he cares about. He also makes his feelings known to them, never one to be too humiliated to tell another that he loves them. In that sense, Ouray is very open with himself and others. At times, one would think him to be too immature, for he can sometimes be found playing with the younger foals, but Ouray thinks that it's good for character. Simply because he is the lieutenant doesn't mean that he must be serious at all times. Contributing to the herd is what he does, and that includes committing to the younger individuals within it. He considers himself an ambivert, sometimes wishing to speak, and other times, wanting nothing more but to spend time alone. However, no matter what mood he is in, he will never turn away from company. One strong thing about Ouray is that he knows when enough is enough, and when to commit to his duties. When given time, he may play or converse with others, always telling jokes and being jolly, but the moment danger appears, it's as if another being takes hold altogether. A selfless thing, he'd rather sacrifice himself than put anybody else in danger. He is also wise and mannered, Ouray respects those within the herd and tends to trust easily. He encourages everyone to voice their opinions and enjoys hearing their side of things. He tends to be more easygoing and free spirited than the lead mare, and less stern altogether. However, when needed, Ouray can act equally as stoic and feisty. For instance, if any he cares about is in danger, Ouray can turn quite aggressive and calculating. It would be impossible to stop him when he's determined. Crush: Saga, and Ouray makes it known. He isn't discreet at all.

Chex - is Ouray's best friend. That is his platonic soulmate, the being whom he can depend on until death. The stallion is considered his brother, his family, and Ouray would do anything for him. His loyalty towards the lead is very deep to the point where he'd rather sacrifice himself over his friend. He would never turn his back upon Chex, and his children are like Ouray's own. There is no other stallion that Ouray would choose over his friend.
Saga - This mare is one whom Ouray respects deeply, and she has him wrapped around her finger. While he tries to act discreet when it comes to his feelings for her and believes that he actually is, he isn't. At all. Saga could tell him to do the most atrocious thing, and there Ouray would be, running off to do it like a puppy. Ouray, per say, would do anything she said, for he trusts her opinions and thoughts more than his own. He would do anything for her and would protect her until death. Chex is his platonic soulmate, Saga is his true one. |

She will grow to be at approximately 15.6 hands when older, slightly taller than her mother, but much shorter than her brother and father. 
Personality: Akeldama is a simple mare with simple terms. Be kind to her, and she'll be kind in return. Be cruel to her, and she'll match the behaviour. For the most part, the yearling is kind, sweet, and caring. She does the most for anybody she encounters and offers nothing but kindness in all of her actions and words. Favours? She'd do anything one asks of her for absolutely nothing in return. She is selfless and mature, always offering words of warmth and welcoming company. Akeldama has not a hint of greed in her. Well, that's a lie. When it comes to her twin brother, Akeldama is very greedy to the point where she is possessive. She has to know where he's going at all times, who he's conversed with, what he's up to. Everything. You can say that she'd like to keep him all to herself, for her bond with her twin runs deep. He's her best friend after all. In this way, one could call her a tad insecure, for she doesn't want him to find somebody else and grow closer with them. Granted, he can have friends, but she wants to be his very best one. There is also the side of her that, when fooled, can grow very passive aggressive and cruel. She'll act fake and try her best to screw another over if they harm her or anybody she cares about, and Akeldama can hold a grudge. Like mentioned before, the yearling is kind, though if one is hurtful, she will return the favour. Fool her once, shame on you, fool her twice, shame on her. Akeldama goes by that saying, and she never lets another do anything bad to her twice. She is cunning and intelligent, and perhaps a tad manipulative. She is the type to gaslight another and make life hell for them until an apology is given. Indeed, Akeldama is very vengeful. She practically forces others to apologize to her by playing mind games. Her form of torture is not by using physical force, but verbal. The mare can talk a mile a minute, and can she ever be intimidating for it. Is she scary? Yes. Can she be cold? Yes. However, for the most part, one shouldn't worry too much. Simply follow her rules and be kind, and no problem should surface. Just stay away from her brother. Affiliations: Achlys - Identical Twin Brother Achlys is her twin brother, and how she adores him. He's her best friend, her twin flame, her partner in crime. To say that Akeldama is protective over him is an understatement. She is downright possessive. If he speaks to someone, she will be there next to him. If he needs to take a drink of water, guess who is following. If he does anything, Akeldama is never too far. She is loyal to him and would do anything for him. Her bond runs so deep that she'd die, and kill for him. Chex - Father Her father is one that Akeldama respects wholeheartedly. She aspires to be like him, which, she supposes in some ways she is. She enjoys any time with him she can have, and listens to everything he says with a sense of curiosity. She also tends to ask him questions, for Akeldama loves to learn. She adores her father. Adela - Mother Her mother is one that Akeldama adores. There are parts of Adela that reflect in her, though it's clear that she obtained traits from both parents. Akeldama enjoys her mother's calming presence and is often seen near her, for she tends to favour her over her father. She loves her mother and respects her. Ironically, Akeldama is more afraid of being ridiculed by her mother than father, despite him being scarier. Something about the thought of it just seems more.. disappointing to her. So, Akeldama is always on her best behaviour for her mother. Well, tries to be. Appearance:
Saga is a statuesque mare who stands at about 15.2 hh, and while she might not be the tallest of equines, she moves about with a dignified grace that makes her seem taller than she actually is. She holds a powerful build, muscular without making her appear heavy, except when she is with foal. She has long, powerful legs, with hooves that she trusts to carry her through even the toughest of terrain. The mare is sure footed to say the least, the type to adjust to her environment. Since the mare has had a few foals, her belly is a bit rounder than other mares, particularly younger ones or ones who have yet to have their own offspring, but ti doesn't detract from the feminine grace the female seems to exude.
Saga is a mare of beautiful complexion. Her coat has greyed out from it's original color, giving her a dappled grey look that often looks like stars in a cloudy night sky. Her legs and hide are not as heavily dappled, and are darker than the rest of her body, appearing almost like their original shade of midnight. This same darkness is also evident on the bottom of her belly, though it too has begun to dapple out, and will soon be the same color as the rest of her, whereas her legs will remain black from the knee down as she ages.
The mare also has black on her face, specifically her nose is black, whereas the rest of her face is the pale grey color that the rest of her body is. She does, however, have one little splotch of black on her left cheek, which almost acts as a distinguishable feature that allows her to be easily picked out from a crowd of dapple grey mares. The exquisit mare also has the most interesting mane and tail that greys can have. They are an ombre of colors, her mane starting as a darker grey at her forelock, and paling out to white as her it goes down her neck. Her tail, though is different, starting out white, then seem to start to darken towards grey, before abruptly transitioning to a blonde color. This is often do to the fact that the ends of her tail are older and have longer been bleached by the sun.
Along with her primarily greyscale appearance, the mare has a pair of eyes to match. Her orbs are basically the personfication of cold steel, cold and almost metallic in shine, not quite pale enough to be icy, but too light to be anything resembling charcoal. One might be able to convince someone they are stormy, but not so much the middle of a storm, but more so the promise of one, when the clouds are still light. Her voice is a lower register for females, but able to rise in octave whenever the female is in one of her fiery moods or someone has crossed her. And with a silver tongue and venomous words, her rich, silky tones do little to dampen the pain it can cause.
Scar wise, the mare is nothing like the brutes of her species, and her coat is almost in pristine condition. She has a few nip or bite marks on her coat from various others, but nothing big or noteworthy that mars the surface of her coat.
Personality:
Saga is a female with a personality of the complicated variety. She comes off as a rather serious mare at first, but not so much as that she can't relax and enjoy life. She just has little tolerance for disrespect or nuisances, and if you are obnoxious, that is even more points against you. The mare just has pretty high expectations for those who are around her, but she also can be pleasant to be around at times.
The mare has a witty brain practically designed for venomous remarks and rattling others in their hooves. She isn't the mare to hold punches just to appear ladylike, but you can bet the female will say them with such grace or dignity that she can make even a confident horse feel incompetent. That isn't to say she cold or ruthless, she knows where to draw the line and back off, but the mare has no qualms with mincing words, and naturally, she doesn't like to lose.
Despite her capability to verbally destroy someone (and she would), the mare is the farthest thing from hot tempered. She has a surprising amount of patience, and capable of keeping a clear head during things. Saga has a relatively level headed, which allows her to think on her feet, and adapt to what is going on. That isn't to say she can't get irritated, but the mare is not the type to lose her head, yell, or throw a fit. The most you might see her get is frustrated, and all that does is cause the female to dig in her heels and become defiant and/or spiteful.
That all being said, there is a relaxed side to Saga that is often seen when she is left alone or in the company of others that she enjoys. She smiles more, laughs more, and can even joke around too. This side of her is where her understanding and compassion shine through, showing her to be a motherly and supportive character, someone who is in the corner of those she loves. Saga isn't the type to abandon those she loves or trusts. Of course, her trust is a fickle thing, and once it's broken, it's nearly impossible to win back. The mare doesn't play around when it comes to her heart.

Ouray - This is the stallion who has managed to capture the cold mare's heart and soul. While she tries not to show it, not wanting to appear weak, she is completely enamored by the stallion. There is no question that the mare is entirely loyal to him, and loves him more than anything. For Saga, it has always been Ouray, and that will never change.
Chex - He's the stallion who kind of came with Ouray as a package deal. He's become like a brother to her, albeit a sometimes annoying brother, but she respects him a lot. Does she give him a hard time? Yes, but that's her job.

He has no desire to take over form Chex and Ouray, but he'd like to eventually have his own mare to himself.
Appearance:
At a glance, it's clear that Bergen isn't as tall as his herd's leading stallions, standing at just a hair over 17 hh. However, while still on the tall side, what the male lacks in height he makes up for in strength and width. He is a burly stallion with copious amounts of muscle adorning his wide physique. Big boned and sturdy, the male can absolutely keep up with stallions larger than him, and just as capable of delivering a severely damaging kick too.
With a wide stance, the male is not one to be trifled with. The amount of scars that adorn his coat are a testimony to the battles he fought, and likely won. He is experienced and capable of taking care of himself and defending others. He's merely a herd stallion because life is easier that way and less lonesome. He would love one day to have a mare of his own, whether it be within a herd, or just him and their little family.
Besides his size, Bergen is also most notable for his coloration. Being Blue roan, the stallion stands out from a crowd of brown, bays, and reds. He is quite handsome, with chiseled but robust features. His head and legs appear almost black with a blue tint, while the rest of his body is the stereotypical blue roaned color. Though marred by scars, it's still a pretty color, something the male is quite proud of.
His mane and tail are on the shorter side, and often found with wild tangles throughout them. It gives him a wild, unkept look but not one that isn't pleasing to the eyes. His eyes are an incredibly dark brown, almost black, but more similar to a very dark chocolate. His scent is something warm and rich, inviting without being overwhelming, but like warm spiced chocolate with a hint of wild desert to it. His vocals are a deep baritone, almost basso.
