Reaper- Take a look at Leopold and Charles, they aren't super high rarity, but they could help ya with the vitals if you want some help. Both are Obedient disposition. Thor is also Obedient, but the other 2 are G1.

I mostly breed for explore, my ultimate goal is to get a male with a decent AC R, decent vitals, and talents. Like a good stud you know? Lmao. And I have some high talents and good ACs but I can't get a grasp on the vitals side of things.
 EkaterinaGoldstone
10:32:35 Kate/Gold
Reaper- Weather vitals wise, 23 is actually the better one, even though the total is still negative on all, I suppose depending whether you explore or do FMC, perhaps rate them and see who of them is best?

I feel that, I'm trying to get high talents while mixing the vitals in there. All I managed to get was a pretty pup and then one who's a 40R AC

10:27:38 Kate/Gold
Reaper- Yeah. So far since I got back he's the only male pup I've kept. He's also kinda pretty. Silver Brindle on Husky 2 is actually really nice. Wish I could breed more talents into my group but it's hard to find good vitals/ratings with higher talents.

I think that's what I'm gonna have to do, been trying to breed a good stud, hasn't worked out yet lol but he's my best pup this season, so I think I'll hold him and his sister back

W.I.P.

Pack name: Luck
Pack #: 257839

Name given by owners: Pandora
Name: Linnaeus (They don't mind being called Pandora either)
Pronouns: They/them
Sex: Female
Breed: Mutt (Kelpie, Aussie, chinook, Akita, ect.)
Age: 2 1/2
Sexuality: Pansexual
"Job": Actor
Are they already apart of The War Dogs?: No
Open for relationships/crushes?: Yes
Family: They've never met their family
Owner's name: Julian Freeman
How long does it take them to get to the forest?: 2 hours
Appearance: Linnaeus is a medium mutt who has the traits of multiple dog breeds, but primarily resembles an Australian Kelpie. They have a long, sturdy snout and tall, pointy ears like a Kelpie. Linnaeus's neck fur resembles a chinook, growing upwards. However, Linnaeus is a longhair. Linnaeus stands about 2.5 feet tall and weighs about 87 pounds.
Linnaeus is a double merle dog. Their fur is bright white, with patches of light "blue" and spots of light grey. Most noteably, half of their face is blue, and a white patch on their forehead makes a star shape. Linnaeus's skin is light pink, making their inner ears, nose, paw pads, and around their eyes pink. Linnaeus's eyes are an icy blue.
Personality: Linnaeus is somewhat of a loner, but easy to get to know. They'd rather go it their own way, or with a few good friends, but isn't opposed to getting to know new dogs. Linnaeus somewhat fits the archetype of "theater kid." They are bubbly and friendly after the ice is broken and they get to know someone.

Linnaeus shouldn't be mistaken for a pushover, though, if annoyed they will be very dismissive and even snappy. Linnaeus is always somewhat nervous, or at least conscious, about their health at all times. They are quite careful around lights and loud sounds. Linnie can be easily excited though, and may become reckless and disregard their health in a moment of glee.
Backstory: Linnaeus was bred by an irresponsible breeder who didn't understand the ways and downfalls of double merle dogs. Linnie's breeder sold them to an average joe who lived in a big city. Linnaeus's new owner noticed their reactions to sound and light and took them to the vet, and upon discovering Linnaeus's condition he didn't want to take care of them.
Linnaeus was given to their previous owner's friend, (Julian) who was a director at a theater academy. He already owned a few dogs who were very extensively trained to participate in shows. Julian decided to enroll Linnaeus in the same training that his other dogs underwent, but would only include Linnie in plays and musicals without extremely bright lights or very loud sounds.
The other dogs in Linnaeus's household are a female poodle named Lola by her owner and Celine as her true name, and a rough collie named Lassie (after the movie) by her owner and Hazel as her true name. Celine and Hazel are actress dogs as well, and usually get along quite well with Linnaeus.
Strengths: Very well trained, cautious, agile, a somewhat large dog, aware of their surroundings from training.
Weaknesses: Because Pandora is a double merle dog, they have a sensitivity to sound and light, and additionally poor eyesight and hearing. Linnaeus strains to hear high pitched or extremely loud sounds, and these often give them horrid headaches. Bright, flashing, and saturated lights can also give them headaches, and overall their vision is blurry. They are not entirely deaf or blind, though.
Skills: Acting, speed, agility.
Fears: Their health being compromised, being seen as weak because of their eyesight/hearing.
Likes: Pretty scenery, blankets, lavender.
Dislikes: Being in danger, insects, big crowds, underground.
Favorites: Performing
Theme song/playlist:
Quote: "I may not see clearly, but I can feel clearly."
Other: probably blue now-

......

Appearance:

Shane is a large dog, and quite intimidating in stature, him standing at a full thirty inches at the shoulder and weighing one hundred forty pounds. His body lean and muscular; powerful muscles rippling underneath a short coat that is close to the skin, glossy, and as dark as a starless night. His dark brown eyes carry a vigilant look in them most of the time; intelligent and calculating, and alert. His ears are floppy, although they have a definite prick to them that makes them different from drop ears, and they can noticably prick upwards when alert or listening to something. His tail is long, ending at his ankles, and it is thinner than some breeds, but not entirely fragile.

In terms of build, it almost seems as if a doberman and staffie were mixed together, his chest more broad and body well-muscled, more so than a typical doberman; but one can detect a slight arch in his neck that reflects the particular breed in his lineage, the sleek athletic build is another clue to the doberman ancestry. But there are other signs of different breeds in his genetic makeup; a more powerful, thicker neck; the more square shape of his head, yet still retaining an elegance around the edges, connected to a broad muzzle that is more elongated than a squashed face, the square-ish shape of the muzzle an indictator of a powerful bite. His coat is actually waterproof to an extent, like a labrador, and the color of it is also reminiscent. His stature is more closer to a Great Dane rather than the other breeds he has in his ancestry. While clearly physically strong, he is capable of surprising speed and agility; he is quite swift, his strong legs carrying him in flight quite well. As well as being able to twist and turn quickly, or maneuvering through something. Keep in mind that he is not as quick or agile as those built for it, but he can hold his own with something other than physical strength.

Shane is sure an impressive dog to look at, sleek and muscular, intimidating. He is clearly a dog that would be a good fighter; large, powerful, with a strong bite, and able to turn quickly. But he is also capable of stealth as well. With a smooth, athletic gait, paired with his inky black pelt it is like he is a shadow; padding through his surroundings. His bearing is one of confidence, not arrogance; it is a quiet thing, born of the knowledge that he can handle himself. And most often those who have this air of quiet confidence and dignity clinging to them are more dangerous than those who boast about their abilities.

There is perhaps one vestige of a time when he worked in a dangerous enviroment, the other wounds he had gained from that time have all healed without a trace. Except for one. Located on his hind right leg, there is a scar; and if one watches him move about for a while, one can see that the leg has a bit of weakness to it. And he moves with a slight limp. But the bad leg doesn't impair him very much, given how well he can move around still. Perhaps it will go away in later years, when it has had more time to heal, perhaps it won't. Either way, it's not the end of the world, and he can live with it.

Personality:

One could say that Shane is on the quieter end of the spectrum. He will talk and answer questions, and with those he is more familiar with he tends to be more vocal. He's not one to talk your ears off, that's for sure, but he's not entirely withdrawn either. Sure, he prefers to keep back a little with a group until he's figured out things, he will enjoy the presence of a group he knows, that is for sure. His tendency to not immediately dive with the group is not due to shyness or lack of confidence, he is definitely not the type that suffers from that; but in a more reserved fashion, and some dogs have called him controlled in this manner. It's a kind of weird thing with his vocalness, it change depending on situation, group he's around, or mood.

Speaking of, he is disciplined, controlled. He isn't prone to impulsive decisions, such would have gotten him or others wounded or even killed; he has been taught to control his emotions and instincts so that he is more in control of himself and can operate in the situations he has indeed been in. And he will likely never lose this disciplined part of him, it's now part of what makes him him. He can make himself keep on moving even is exhausted, from sheer willpower; make himself stand his ground even when wounded and scared, after all, he has done that before in the midst of a battle, has kept on working because it's his duty and what he was meant to do. And he will obey commands easily, training and experience taught him that one must instantly react to an order, or else it could result in fatalities that may have been avoided.

Shane has a fiercer nature, quicker to anger and to rise to a fight. While this quick-tempered part of him is controlled, it is still there, and he can get angry. For the most part, it doesn't show itself unless he is actively fighting or anything; or perhaps when he knows he has to stand up for himself or else be branded a pushover. When it does surface, the anger or aggression is carefully controlled; a baring of the teeth here, or maybe a derisive or withering look; a snarling vocalization to warn or threaten; or using his taller stature and general appearance to intimidate. Either way, watch out if you decide to provoke him, he is not an opponent that anyone would want to face when angry, especially, or when he has something to fight for.

Shane is a more cautious dog. Yes, he is aware that risks need to be taken sometimes, but it also pays to be wary until the risks become apparent. He would likely have not lasted long in the military if he was not cautious, actually, he probably would have been dismissed from training if he failed to grasp the concept of holding back and watching until the time to act came. And he isn't the type to trust too easily. He personally thinks that he is a good judge of when to be bold, and when to be wary. Do I really need to say that he is intelligent? He clearly is. While cautious, he is clearly confident, in the quiet way; so his cautiousness cannot really be dismissed as a product of a timid or nervous personality.

When he gets to know someone or a group, he is more relaxed, friendly. More casual, in a way; and a bit of a mischievous streak comes out during that. Not one to take it took far, but also he likes to have a little bit of fun and teasing with those he is familiar with, in a good way, if he is familiar with someone in a hostile way then that obviously does not count. For the record, he can actually be quite vengeful, he's not really the type to let it consume his life, but he won't forget it anytime soon. Anyways, back onto the nicer topic; he is a very loyal dog, and will stand by those he trusts through everything. And he can be counted on to fiercely defend himself, his home, and those he is close to without a doubt. He can be creative, sure, this part usually shows itself when he's insulting someone or coming up with a plan that really shouldn't be executed but still...creativity still counts for something, right? Sometimes he draws upon what he has experienced, because the other army dogs he was around could be...creative in the same way he is.

Backstory:

Shane's backstory is a pretty straightforward one, chosen at a young age for military work, he started training at six months of age. After two years of extensive training, he finished his training. Then deployed with his handler. He served for about two years in warzones, although the time spent felt simultaneously longer and shorter. Until he gained a bad injury to his leg, the one that left the only scar, and then on top of that he ended up getting sick for some reason or another; that combination led to him having to be retired. He was adopted by a civilian, and his time was spend healing and adjusting to regular life. Recently, his human and by extension, himself, moved to a new place; he doesn't know about these War Dogs, although he has seen dogs run by at night.
