Kyle heard shouting and slowly came to a walk and peered around the corner into a dark alleyway with two men with a young male. He looked around and grabbed a broom from beside the dumpster and walked up behind the man and rolled up his sleeves" Leave him alone!" He shouted and hit the man over the head with the brown before throwing The broom at the other person . Kyle grabbed Raeyn and tossed him behind him before raising his fist as the first man came back. With a single blow Kyle knocked him out then glared at the other man " What are you looking at?!" He snapped before turning to the small male being him. " Are you okay?" He asked with a raised brow rolling up his sleeves that showed his tattoos and scars.

Alex watched his human carefully and he glared at Jared who was staring at Zack. He was about to go and stand near Zack but Jake grabbed him and dragged him out " We won't let anyone hurt him but you need to calm down out here for a bit" Jake said when they were outside trying to stop Alex and his possessive behavior. Jared confidently walked up to Zack with a smile " You must be the new kid! My name is Jared" The human male said with a smile. " You hang out with Alex , right? Your friend hates my guts and gives me the death stare whenver I come into the room" he said with a chuckle falling into pace beside Zack. " I am the captain of the football team here. I have a party tonight if you want to come! Alex can come too if he wants..." Jared said with a wink. Outside Alex had his fangs out when he imagined how flirty Jared was being right now. " Alex calm down " Jake said calmly holding Alex's wrist to keep him from leaving.

Alex watched but flicked when the scent of blood got stranger but relaxed when the sleeve was pulled down. Then his face looked confused " Why would I yell at you? " he then sighed looking at Cole " I am not disgusted at you at all. What is disgusting is how he treats you like this" The male vampire said a sharp edge to his voice as he flarednat the human before walking up to him and hugged him gently trying not to hurt him. " We can stay here as long as you like ... I won't let him touch you while you are near me" Alex said before stepping back and slightly tilting his head " Are currently bleeding anywhere?"

Melanie glared at the lanky thirteen year old boy as he suggested that she leave him alone in the dark. " Hell to the no. You and Rocky are coming with me ." The strawberry blonde said with a frown and tossed him a faded black backpack. " Please Mel! I know how to shoot a gun!" Jamie said making a pouty face and giving her puppy dog eyes as he was shoved out the door. Melanie hated the fact her younger brother was already taller than her and would most likely be a giant like his older brother Kyle. Kyle had been 6'7 , annoying, rude, stupid , and had a crooked nose from how many times his friends have punched him. " Maybe next time " Melanie lied and Jamie glanced up to her with a frown. " Fine " he muttered and jumped back as he stepped on Rock's paw. After that they set off forwards

Melanie bit her lower lip trying to stay silent as her hands made her drop a can of food on her foot and she picked it up before sliding into her backpack. The sun was going down and ahe felt the need to run back to Jamie and Rocky to make sure they were safe from the creatures in the dark and her body shuddered as she gathered supplies for about a week as she carefully stepped over the broken glass of what once was a grocery store. Even in the dark she knew were to step perfectly since she has been going to this store for about a year and she had been following the same foot pattern each time to avoid making extra noise and Rocky from cutting his feet. When making raids like this she always at least brought the silver pistol which she shoved between her hip and snug pair of dark blue ripped jeans which was a bit uncomfortable but definitely better that would be the outcome if she needed it and it wasn't there. As a kid and teenager she ran around with her older brother and his friends who ribbed off on her enough that she had a good aim from competing against Jared who was the most skilled out of the small group.

Melanie nodded " Jamie can help you with that since I am gonna take a shower " She said before pulling off her hoodie and hanging it over a chair before disappearing into the back . She grabbed some pajamas and a towel before heading to the bathroom and sighing when the warm water hit her skin. Jamie smiled at Callum " I love mac and cheese!" He said and grabbing a pan and filling it with water before setting it on the stove to boil before sitting down at the table . Rocky sagged his tail and licked Jamie's hands before running over to Callum again to smell the new person's shoes. " How long are you going to be staying" Jamie asked tilting his head slightly.

The bell rang right as Jared was about to take Alex's seat Alex came in and scared him off with a glare before taking his seat beside Zack. " Did ya miss me?" Alex teased glaring at Jared who immediately looked away. " Did you make any friends besides the school's player?" Alex asked with a cocked eyebrow then looked at the Teacher with a innocent look. " Sorry Mr. Sprinkle I am just looking out for Zack" The man simply rolled his eyes " You kids are too much work" he mumbled before clearing his throat " Today is another workday unless you are loud. If you are loud then you get detention and I won't be in a good mood since you will be taking up my time" Mr. Sprinkle said before sitting back down at his desk.
